Here you are Gabriel, in another Paradise ! Thanks for sharing and sending us positive vibes , the ocean, beaches, mountains, nature , look amazing , so colorful in the best sunshine .. Makes me think of Gauguin..and so many other french artists..already in the previous video when you landed in Tahiti, Papeete. No wonder, they chose to live in French Polynésie. Enjoy and keep going , discovering all this wonderful islands.. Moorea is sooo beautiful .. Bon voyaje and stay safe !
Gabe, you did a wonderful job showing the beautiful island, Moorea. It has stunning scenery of lush green hills and foliage. The water is so crystal clear and clean and the island has a peaceful atmosphere.
Went on my honeymoon to Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora 24 years ago, and it looks just as good. Super friendly people and a great place in general. We stayed at the Sofitel in Moorea and it was fantastic. Moorea was definitely our favorite.
Great vid...i spent a week on Moorea last year, drove my little scooter around the entire island 4 or 5 times, went to all the places you did, even took the same boat over, the big yellow tub. It's pure magic and the people are wonderful, i even got a taxi cab ride to the airport for free!! that's how cool the people are.
It is incredible! Had the pleasure to visit Morea and Bora Bora in 1991. It looks a lot more comercial and built up but it was gorgeous then and the water and swimming is incredible. Thank you for the uodate and good memories!
12:00 I bet there’s incredible diving and snorkelling at that drop off. I’m a big traveler myself, so I’m not normally jealous, but this place looks epic.
The highlight of my day. Today was very special! Just loved hearing your excitement for the natural awe inspiring paradise that is Moorea. Your my favorite channel. Thank you Gabriel. 🙏
The evening meal looks delicious, beautiful Islands, but those huts on the shore are unbelievably expensive, and for one night only. Great video Gabriel, thanks for sharing. Cheers.
Wow!!! Definitely the ultimate paradise. The water is so clear and the scenery is so beautiful with those mountains. Those bungalows over the water would be amazing, but the price😮. Thank you for going to Moorea and showing this wonderful paradise. Great video. Loved it!❤🌴🌺
Looks like the ultimate tropical island there. Those craggy mountains in the back give it extra atmosphere. I can't help thinking of the movie Blue Lagoon every time I see islands like this.
@@saratemp790 Blue Lagoon movie was filmed in Tavewa islands group in Fiji. I have been to both Moorea and Tavewa, I can say Tavewa is far more beautiful and has even better beaches and lagoons, nothing in Tahiti can be compared to Fiji. When planning to travel the South Pacific, plan to spend more time in Fiji, you won't regret the experience.
The song ''French Letter'' written by the New Zealand band ''Herbs'' in 1982 immediately came to my mind watching this spectacular video you have posted Gabriel. Loved everything about it. Herbs' music was described as ‘infectiously upbeat’, and it often carried a political message. Their 1982 hit 'French letter', questioning French nuclear testing in the South Pacific, came to express the country's anti-nuclear stance.
I had the thrill and pleasure to stay on Moorea in 1985 at a Club Med….as a young guy it was my first exotic international trip. I remember how lovely it was, taking a sail boat into one of those bays and diving into the water. The offshore motus and sandbars were incredible. The only downside is I remember mosquitos were intense there and repellent required. Thanks for bringing me the memories Gabriel. Cheers from desert paradise Palm Springs🌴🌵👋🏻
Thanks for bringing back some great memories from one of my all-time favourite islands (tied with Rarotonga, Cook Islands, NZ) - Moorea is amazing, I visited first in 2008 and then again in 2015. I know I might have gushed about Bora Bora (which is incredible) - but Moorea & Rarotonga are reasonably priced, whereas Bora Bora is the playground of millionaires (my overwater bungalow at the Intercontinental was $2500 USD per night). So, I prefer Moorea as you don’t come back bankrupt! PS - the reason Tahiti’s beaches mostly suck is because it has almost no natural lagoon, whereas Moorea is surrounded by a coral fence, leading to those shallow turquoise waters that you see. In Rarotonga, you can literally walk into the ocean in 3-4 feet water for probably a half mile. The lagoons make all the difference. Glad you enjoyed the getaway & I’m glad the advice came in handy! 🏝️
I looked on booking.com and actually found some reasonably priced accommodation on Bora Bora. So I really want to see it, as well as Huahine. Cook Islands sound sweet as well, also Vanuatu and New Caledonia. Tons to see in that part of the world. But for now, time to get into NZ and see what's going on around here. Greetings from Auckland.
I think of people like Gauguin, Bernard Moitessier, who went to Tahiti and stayed. Im sure there are many people who would stay if they could. So much nature and ocean. Incredible. THX 4 sharing take care.

Beautiful Mo'orea......I stayed there for a few days, 12 years ago, at a cheap beach camping cabin. Fabulous sunsets. There is a local bus that goes around the island. Your Rotui juices are also made on that island. French bread is kept low priced there so Laughing Cow cheese and cucumber sandwiches were my go to lunch throughout my Society Islands trip. A trip to French Polynesia does not have to be crazy expensive but can be if you are staying in those over water bungalows.
and i,m here in southern Ontario Canada and its minus 13 celsius and snowing and a windchill of -30, I am so moving somewhere warm when I retire ! great video Gabe !
@jeanlucmoorea Your name sounds French. Are you related to some people in Tahiti? I think I spent 3 or 4 weeks there in 1989. Hopped a few islands, I enjoyed Moorea the most because it was neater, cleaner and has better beaches. I didn't like Bora Bora much due to its ugly black dirt beaches, only a small part of Bora Bora with a better looking coast but it is taken over by expensive resorts. The good thing about Bora Bora is the free wild mangos fell everywhere on the ground. Tahiti mangos are the best tasting mangos in the world, better than the ones in Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and even Cuba.

To put a hotel or resort on the beach is a no brainer, there's such a serene peace even as many places that you have been to invoke a genuine smile of contentment.
@@RoadmanRich I don't know if Club Med still exists on Moorea, I can imagine if it is then it is a great vacation place to go for people with money to spend.
