Beautifully done! As a singer-songwriter I appreciate hearing guitars in this context! This should be a standard part of the presentation (or as separately linked videos) for any guitar that could be great accompaniment instruments (which I presume would be most). So glad you did this Lindsay!!
Lindsay Shaw is a national treasure. Sign her to a multi-year contract at The North American Guitar. She's a brilliant, talented musician, and every note she plays sells guitars. She is a true asset to the organization!
I keep going back to this video over and over and at first it was about the guitars, and they are both awesome, but now I’m back to listen to the songs. This is how every guitar should be showcased, not in parts but as a whole living experience with a song, and two lovely voices singing beautiful songs.
The guitars sounds incredible and mixing together with the mics were spot on. I believe they were both 13 frets. The singer & guitarist is really good & beautiful. I really enjoyed this and want to hear more.
These are shockingly beautiful performances. You’ve got me listening to Paul Burch now! I just wish the audio from these things were available on Spotify. I’ve listened to every version of Last of My Kind and this is clearly the best one. And many of these fancy guitar demos are so good they deserve broader availability. My two cents.
Just came across this by accident. Lindsay Shaw - what a marvellous guitar player and vocalist, really good folk/roots musician. Somebody should record this lady - she's brilliant!
Guitar talk aside, thank you for turning me on to Paul Burch.. grabbed his cd on Ebay and have it on repeat for the last few days. Please do more of these covers, you do them well and you clearly have a lot of great songs in those fingers. Thanks for the guitar samples too!
WOW! Lindsay I am blown away. Great voice and as always your playing is phenomenal! Wonderful rendition of Townes song and I really enjoyed ‘Last of my kind’. I look for your songs to listen too as I wind down for the night! Thank you so much!
Great guitars, great performances, great songs! Excellent demonstration of how these guitars actually work with a performer. That relationship is crucial to enjoyment and success.
Great video session…hope they keep coming. TNAG has such talented people it is nice to see them showcased along with all the great guitars they have to offer.
Hidden talent! Great voice Lindsey. I could listen to your songs for hours. Oh, the guitars are nice too. The white ebony back and sides are a interesting concept. The tone is bright and goes well with your vocal. Thank you, Lindsey
Ah. Beautiful rendition of my favorite song by Townes. These guitars sound like a million bucks even on my cheap laptop, and Lindsay's playing is terrific. Thanks for the upload.
Excellence, Lindsay. Very organic and with great vision. Fantastic idea on the demo, by the way, and great selections for the qualities of each guitar. As I mentioned on an earlier demo, that moon spruce over white ebony is quite an exceptionally done ebony b+s guitar, and it’s been beyond a pleasure to hear you prove your point in spades.
@@LindsayStraw You have a BIG voice and most people don't sound good when they try and go BIG and you sound FANTASTIC when you go BIG with your voice... please sing more songs where you can let your voice do its thing!
🔵 super nice ❕🍀 i have a well used 2009 H-13 tobacco burst (similar to your offering) over EIR w/solid headstock 'scgc' pearl script logo - it is hands down right at the top best sounding playing guitar i've had the privilege owning - up there right next to the OOO 12-fret body design from Martin or Collings ❕🐸 🍀
Kim at TNAG helped me order a custom LDBO from Bourgeois. It’s 13 fret with a deep body, aged Adirondack spruce top and EIR back and sides…it’s AWESOME!!!
That was a lovely performance. Love TVZ

Fantastic picking and singing on the Townes song. Hairs on the back of the neck moment.
Thank you so much!

WOW! Your version of The Last of My Kind is both vocally and on guitar my absolute favorite! I wish you would upload this to your Spotify!
Thank you so much! I dearly love that song, so when I get around to making another album some day, it'll be at the top of the to-record list!

RIP Paul.
I'm in love!
Wow, Love Last of My Kind! Hoping you get it onto an album soon.
There are a lot of good retail guitar store youtube channels. This one is starting to set itself apart.
That's a very nice thing to hear, thanks!
The sound of the guitar I prefer(:
Sweet.
Nice like demos like this the best.
Lindsay, your fingerpicking technique is great. I really enjoy these videos (I just discovered this channel a day ago)
good luck and lots of success..
Just wow ! I wish that streaming would pay more for this one.
Edit. Anyone would know what is the singing microphone?
Ah, we should add that to the description! That's an Ear Trumpet Edwina mic.

Lucky you, bet it's a great one!
👏👏👏
Wow
I've got several 14 frets and 12 frets - I'm getting GAS over a 13 fret! Now - to decide between one of these and the Happy Traum!

Album!!!
I have several (if your cup of tea if very traditional British and Irish folk!)
That's Lindsay Straw. Sorry about the faux pas.
No worries - very kind of you to think I'm a national treasure!
💙🧡❤🤍💚💜💛
Nothing that ain't wonderful here...
