Mike Patton is a genius. He has so many side projects like Mr. Bungle, Fantomas, Peeping Tom, Tomahawk, as well as multiple soundtracks to films and his solo catalog all worth a listen. Hardly anyone in metal has his vocal range. Check out his cover of Easy. Nu- metal gives FNM a bad name, IMHO. Not Nu-metal, but did influence many Nu-metal bands almost all of which highly inferior.

This song, Caffeine, Smaller & Smaller, and Malpractice were all super heavy, which is not the normal state for FNM who don't have a specific genre they fit into and are typically all over the place when it comes to their sound. But yeah, when I was a teen, those three songs were my favourites off of Angel Dust. Midlife Crisis and A Small Victory are good radio songs, RV is freaking hilarious, Kindergarten and Everything's Ruined are cool, Midnight Cowboy is a great instrumental closer; really just the whole album is great and really varied. Arguably Faith No More's best.

Angel Dust is what made them - and took them away from the Chilli Pepper wanna be tag. No band has quite matched it, sol invictus is in the same league but maybe not quite as memorable.

Luv you guys. This is the most disturbing song I ever heard (when it came out). I threw the physical CD across the room. About a year later, I learned about what art is and how my favorite band representan. Art. And then I realized how ignorant I was (not stupid), to really get what they ate doing. I love this band but this hurt. It was only until I put it into the context of the album that I realized how great my favorite artists could be.
I’ve always thought Angel Dust was rather overrated (sorry- I’ve tried but I just can’t get into it that much. I’ve always liked Album of the Year and King For a Day better), but this song totally kicks ass. One of Mike Patton’s greatest vocal performances in a Faith No More song.

This is a great song, but not a great introduction to the band or this album (which IMO is one of the definitive 90s albums that influenced every terrible numetal band ever.) This particular song is angsty and full of fear and repression and is seriously weird. I'd recommend "Midlife Crisis" (which is about Madonna and how ridiculous they thought she was, trying to hold on to her youth), "Easy" (commodores cover), "Malpractice" (about someone addicted to surgery), or "A Small Victory" (About the competitive desire to always win)

Take someone else's content, play it in its entirety, don't do any research on it beforehand, make some brief comments off the top of their heads at the end, just enough to get around copyright claims that could lead to the vid being demonetised or taken down. Add in tags so that the video will come up for people searching for the original song so they can get views that way, move on to the next song.
So 85% of the video is you playing the song in its entirety, without pausing, then spend 1 minute at the end making some brief comments from reading the lyrics. Reaction videos like this are the laziest content on UA-cam. You're relying on hits based on people searching for the original artist's content and barely adding anything that would make it transformative use.

Most under-rated band. They influenced Deftones, Dillinger Escape Plan, amongst others. Mike Patton is an under-rated legendary vocalist.

good point - I hammered Angel Dust for about 10 years on the bounce and this is the least accesible song - but once you break it its amazing
