I think I have high porosity hair before I started using protein treatments in my hair I didn't see much results and my hair was always dry. Then I started using a lot of protein and I saw a great difference in my hair so I now do a protein treatment before I deep condition my hair every week and I'm loving the progress
YESSS! Love this! I'm so proud of you for figuring it out!! This made me smile! So many people wanna ask me for a secret that's gonna change their hair but you took initiative and figured it out! I am so proud of you :))))
How would you sleep on curly hair if you cant tie it up in a bun yet, my hair is pretty short. I wake up and its flat so i just put some warm water into it and apply my products.
All you gotta do is put a silk/satin bonnet on (or do-rag if you don't feel comfortable with the bonnet) and then go to sleep. When you wake up, you can fluff it back out or you can do exactly what you're doing right now.
Everybody’s hair is different over their head. My hair is like that. The hair in the middle is different from the hair on the back and the hair on the back is different from the hair in the front
But I noticed people with curly hair tend to have low porosity hair which in a way makes sense since the texture is looser so it holds on to products longer while also having its own natural oils
well porosity isn't specific to any type of hair (that I know of). It's just like skin and your pores. Some ppl got big pores and issues with acne, some have little pores and skin is very smooth. It just varies per person
Hey I've just started doing my own hair ( abt 5yrs of growth) and I think I have high porosity in the front and low in the back. What protein treatments would u suggest?
I have low to normal hair porosity... I can wash my hair and use oil / a leave in conditioner and I can have my hair tied up for two days then untie it and it will still be shiny with the product still in there... so I had to start using natural products cause grease was too much for it... I have to wash my hair frequently to get buildup out since it holds on to products... well look at the bright side we don’t run through products like other hair types 😂😂😂

Put a silk bonnet on or get a silk pillowcase

I think since I have a fro-hawk, the back and the middle are different from the front bc the front doesn’t curl up like the back and the middle.
