I’m so glad you made it. I thought I’d added a link to the specific project link in the description when I released the video. However I’m an idiot and I forgot. I’ll adjust that now. Thanks again for a great little project.
You should look into burning a copy of Altirra Basic into an EEPROM. It has a fast math pack which speeds up performance of many programs and it is fully compatible with standard Atari Basic. Good job finding the problem.
I guess we were both a bit off on what was wrong with this machine. I was convinced a marginal RAM chip was the issue since in the past I had machines with bad memory working with a cartridge in the slot but failed to boot without one.
I love the looks of this machine! Also great job on finding the cause of failure! I’m impressed.
Thanks gorgeous. It’s a really great machine. I’ll be coming back to it I think.
finish watching tomorrow I have work in the morning 🤣🤣🤣looking good so far
Cheers Alan.
awesome! i just love seeing retro computers come to life!
So do I, especially when I’m the one fixing them. It’s never a guarantee that it’ll work!
Glad that my adapter helped you with your project

Actually I did do it. Replying to comments while I recovering from the flu is not a good choice!
my first computer, nice to see you have the machine up and running again. well done.
Thanks! I’m really falling for this one
Zi sound iz back!
Yeah, rushing to get the video done is not my friend. :)

I will do. It’s always fun to explore some of the different OS/ROMS written for machines outside the manufacture:)
yeah good job sir

Yeah it was interesting to discover what the issue was. It’s always great to be proved wrong. Every failure becomes experience. :)
