Best thing - get the Scrounger Pants that auto-repairs the vehicles, get a tank, have fun. Or any vehicle, since it repairs them while you are inside them.
"Get a tank" made me LOL :) That would be very useful at times, except for the fact they're too slow compared to a 'normal' vehicle. But that's why there are aircraft. :)
The flying car is probably my favorite thing to use, graphics actually look great from the sky. Funny first time I tried using it I tried twice to drive it off a cliff an died lol didn’t realize you had to change to fly mode

The buzzer is just too good. Only downside is the durability but really you are so fast and gave such good maneuverability that you can avoid most damage. As someone else has pointed out too if you fly low enough to the ground you can completely avoid anti-air. Pair that with the ability to land basically anywhere and everywhere on the map and it’s one of the best vehicles hands down.
Exactly. This should be the number one early tip in every guide. Makes all the supply drops ez as can be, fly in low take out artillery, get extra speed if you can use water, available at many hideouts and can be called from helicopter or boat phones.
Extra vehicles: the hovercraft. Can ride both on water, and on land, and has two smg guns you can use when driving. The attack jet ski. A regular jet ski but it has 2 guns in front of it. Both fire at the same time like a machine gun and are on top of each other, making them go straight forward. For horses, get FND’s guard horse. More durable and has more health. the dune buggy and the hover craft both share the mutual vehicle spawns while also having their respective air/sea spawns.
There is also a water/air hovercraft with 2 seats on top of Juan's office at the main Libertad base at the helipad. I found it yesterday and flew it to Esperanza. It's kinda slow but could be a decent early game flier.
If its slow its because your flying to high, fly lower and it moves with a quickness. Its my favorite vehichle so far as it allows you to cover the entire map without having to swap vehichles for water and land respectively.
I wish you could make any vehicle “your ride”. I just want to be able to summon my flying buggy instead of going to a vehicle pickup point every time I want to use it.
The best part about the Angelito turbo is that because it's also a car it will uncover the fog of the map even while flying! So if you're a map completionist like me, it's wonderful to explore the map in
There's also an improvised helicopter in the Libertad base. It can land on water and has some strong machine guns. And because it is using two ducted fans instead of rotors you can fly very close to objects without crashing
I like the buzzer. It can be summoned from both helicopter pads and boat launches. The flying car is okay, but I’ve gotten quite attached to VTOL craft.
I probably spent as much time flying around in the buzzer as I did doing anything else in the game. It allowed my to fly and easily land in so many weird places (like on small platforms on radio towers) to collect loot because it's small and doesn't have giant rotors. This saves a good bit of time over having to climb up manually. Just so fast to get around in and if you stay low, you can literally fly right up next to AA sites to blow them up. Also let me get to some areas early that are supposedly unreachable until later in the game such as the mansion on Isla Del Leon. Biggest disappointment of the game by far is still not be able to zip around Esperanza in it after beating the game. Leaving it an insta-kill no fly zone was a massive lazy mistake by the developers IMO.
I like tank the most although is not the fastest. I am playing as a tank character with Guapo as companion and I am having loads of fun. I know people go mainly for the stealth option etc. with military targets to get extra points, but man I just love the demolition I can do wit Granadę launchers, LMG and explosives. I am using few different set ups but all focused around maximum destruction.😂
I found the hover craft last night and it’s awesome to ride straight from land into he water and then back on land then pull off some sweet jumps to diving off and shooting some dudes up lol this is def my fav farcry game
I unlocked a helicopter when I dropped it in a vehicle control point (the fuel depot on the east side of the first map). But i could not use it until I captured a base with helipads in it
The main thing I love about this new far cry is the fact when u get in your car it actually show the person starting the car with the keys somthing the last far cry’s failed to show in realism
All I have been doing really is prepping for the game by picking up weapons, supremo bond, gun powder and vehicles but in order to get the best for customizing weapons I think I’m going to have to venture off to some level 8 areas for the necessary parts
You can find the location of the japanise pickup by completing one of those airdrop missions nearby because the crate is right next to the locked building. I found it on accident by trying to get inside
Good tips. Thanks. If you want to get somewhere NEW fast , I suggest Airdropping at the closest place to it and use the wingsuit to basically fly there . Saves a lot of slow ground travel .
The tanks are fun for awhile then it gets to be unwinable battles that ends up with a blown up tank. I dig the resolver mini copter. Thing is fast and can easily fly low enough to avoid the anti aircraft cannons. I use it to fly right up to the enemies back door and proceed to eradicate them.
The best type i can give anyone, is just keep playing, this game has a way of just making you play constantly. It's addictive to the point i had about 4 main missions ongoing at the same time while i was trying to follow a weapon cache 😂😂 .It's sooo gooood. Just explore at you're own pace and do what you feel YOU requires at that set time. P.s i still haven't unlocked the wingsuit 😂😂 but I'm cruising with a gun that shoot FIYA LIKE MY MOMA...

You're referring to the Avispa Buzzer which, imo, is the best 'aircraft' and perhaps the best vehicle, regardless of type, in the game. And I say that as a pilot in reality. I love it and get it as soon as I get to the Montero camp. Just take a helo to the large cave in the Caverna River area and land. Then swim into the cave and the Buzzer will be there. DO NOT fly in since doing so will result in the Buzzer not being there. It won't spawn unless you swim in. You can, however, fly it out and back to a base which has a helo pad and kiosk. Do that and you'll be able to get it at any helo kiosk at any time thereafter. Note: you need to land (park) on the helo pad marked H with stones. Btw, many people don't know that it does in fact have a gun. Simply press A on XBox to fire. I use it to demolish billboards routinely as well as FND vehicles if for no other reason than entertainment. >:) It's also extremely useful and adept at getting very close to enemy AAA sites (Anti-aircraft artillery) since you can easily remain below their radar coverage. In fact I often land within fifty feet of the launcher. One rocket later, and boom, no more AAA launcher. Dispose of any enemy and pick up your depleted Uranium. In fact I take out all 26 launchers and many checkpoints and bases before I do anything else, with the exception of arming myself with my favorite weapons.

Question, for me, there are few military trucks that I cannot unlock. It does nothing when I put them on the spot. It is MD (medic supplies), MT (with construction), oil truck. The canner is never showing green mark on them.
I'm only lvl 3 at present, but I want that flying buggy! (I'm a pilot). And I'm wondering if it's feasible to get there by water. For example, up the west side of the map via watercraft, then East to just North of the airfield. If not I'll go by air via helo and take out the two northern SAM sites on the way.
Best way is to buy the map for the Hideout just a bit south of the Military base. Then air drop on it and parachute your way in the base without attracting too many soldiers
I had trouble with it at first because it fishtails a lot and if you run aground, you cannot get off and push it. However, once I realized that this race actually gives you a lot of time to finish, you just have to take your time and not go full speed in the tight areas.

The only vehicle I've EVER used heavily in ALL the Far Cry games has been the helicopter in whatever form it shows up. Little buzzer, ultra-light, armored choppers, whatever. Super lethal Guns and rockets. Fastest map traversals. The only time I use land vehicles is when the game requires it. And the buzzer is best for avoiding air defenses.
Watching the first 30 seconds of this video I just realised you can summon vehicles to where you are. I was continually re-loading my save game, or just running to a destination....
The truck is my favorite. I was expecting this armored jeep to withstand more damage even without the mods but it's not the case. But the truck does seem to be the fastest.
I’ve brought back every vehicle on the vehicle checkpoint pick up list but still have one interior to unlock and three exterior and four horns. Is there something else I have to do for all that?
You are insane for NOT including the absolute best vehicle of ANY FC game: I give you the AVISPA BUZZER!.The beauty can out maneuver any vehicle including other Chopper. You can skim it across water or the ground around Airspace Anti-Craft guns. It can outshoot the other choppers because it can maneuver so quickly that you rise above them as you shoot them. Build your hideouts 1st then go to HIDEOUT HABANERA and one will be there. Just take a picture with your camera and its in BOTH your Helicopter AND Watercraft sites. After you start using it, you'll have appear at several hideouts without even calling for it. Tanks are it's only Achilles. The Buzzer guns can't do much damage. The most devastating weapon is the PYROTECHNO RESOLVER WEAPON with upgraded Lock on. It takes down chopper on the 1st shot. If you use the M79 Grenade Launcher with EMP grenades and hit the tank wth 2 of those to incapacitate it then hit it with the PYROTECHNO it "done blowed up real good". You can take out any other vehicle in the game with BUZZER.
Ive been using the shiz out of the paraglide buggy because if you just fly close enough to the ground anti air doesnt care about you, just do a fly by near it and shoot a grenade into the anti air
You can fly low in anything and they won't shoot, I use the supremo heli bike frame thingy. What ever the thing is you find on Juan's Island, and it's hosses
With that tank there is part of that board where there is a tank just sitting there on the ramp and nobody is in it and I took that one and all of the other tank was it and then left with that tank! lol. Cheers. Keep the vids coming!!
The only thing that disapointed me is the fact we do not have jet fighters I mean far cry 4 had poor vehicles and Walmart carts with choppers pales In the 5 we got real planes and real choppers And in 6 I realy hoped to have a sort of A10 Warthog like the hydroplane from FC5 but more in a battle plane style That's where you can see that this game is amazing when your only problem is to not have an A10 Warthog
Are they really super powerful? I jumped in one and could only alternate between shooting the machine guns on either side, both of which overheated really fast, I never figured out how to fire the cannon.
If you wear the Scavenger set you repair the vehicle while you are in it. This makes tanks near impossible to destroy. I like the buggy, but my favorite is the mini helicopter. It lets you get in and out of tight places and land on very small platforms. I don't care for the planes much as they are much harder to control. I also rarely use the rides you can summon.
That blue truck sucks! I found a yellow truck similar to the one from the Kill Bill movies which came with a gun turret in the past, but I forgot where it was unfortunately. :/ I was hoping that this video would show it and where to get it, but noooo....
That nice blue pickup apparently doesn't exist after you drive it once. I drove it to a nearby vehicle pickup point, parked it in the blue lines but it didn't make it available and it's no longer in the original location either. Was I supposed to scan it? Or is it just a temporary thing?
Its a ride, so its on the same menu that juans car is in, along with the tag tg and the sports car in the video. If it still doesnt let you equip in when you go on that menu then its probably glitched.

I semi agree. I felt the same way but at least it adds novelty to the rides you can’t summon at anytime. This game does give you a lot.
This is what was way better in FC5. You had different companions with different abilities. You could call old lady with chopper or a guy in a plane.

Tanks are the best vehicle once you equip the scrounger pants, but the resolver heli is the best flying vehicle.

So far I like the boat helicopter. It’s easy to travel fast and under the “radar” in anti aircraft zone’s.

That jet ski race was not easy. Yrs it was easy avoiding the mines but all the tight turns are not easy.

In the safehouse mission where El Tigre and Jonron dies there were some old MiGs flying in the sky, too bad you cant get one.
Ok I’m ngl when I did the backseat driver mission it took a total of 3 emp rounds to kill the enemy’s and their Jeep’s.

The buggy wasn’t in the hangar, i don’t know why. Is this a bug, do you need story progression to a certain point or is it somewhere else?

Ive been using the shiz out of the paraglide buggy because if you just fly close enough to the ground anti air doesnt care about you, just do a fly by near it and shoot a grenade into the anti air

it doesn't matter wich race you do to get the rides, i did my first race somewhere in the center of the map and received the supercar as well

With that tank there is part of that board where there is a tank just sitting there on the ramp and nobody is in it and I took that one and all of the other tank was it and then left with that tank! lol. Cheers. Keep the vids coming!!

The only thing that disapointed me is the fact we do not have jet fighters
I mean far cry 4 had poor vehicles and Walmart carts with choppers pales
In the 5 we got real planes and real choppers
And in 6 I realy hoped to have a sort of A10 Warthog like the hydroplane from FC5 but more in a battle plane style
That's where you can see that this game is amazing when your only problem is to not have an A10 Warthog

You don't have to drive them to the blue parking spot you just take a picture of them,no races or anything 😉
I was able to deliver a truck to an plane drop point and it unlocked for me... Haven't tried bringing a plane to a vehicle drop point.

Are they really super powerful? I jumped in one and could only alternate between shooting the machine guns on either side, both of which overheated really fast, I never figured out how to fire the cannon.

If you wear the Scavenger set you repair the vehicle while you are in it. This makes tanks near impossible to destroy.
I like the buggy, but my favorite is the mini helicopter. It lets you get in and out of tight places and land on very small platforms.
I don't care for the planes much as they are much harder to control. I also rarely use the rides you can summon.

That blue truck sucks! I found a yellow truck similar to the one from the Kill Bill movies which came with a gun turret in the past, but I forgot where it was unfortunately. :/

That nice blue pickup apparently doesn't exist after you drive it once. I drove it to a nearby vehicle pickup point, parked it in the blue lines but it didn't make it available and it's no longer in the original location either. Was I supposed to scan it? Or is it just a temporary thing?
Its a ride, so its on the same menu that juans car is in, along with the tag tg and the sports car in the video. If it still doesnt let you equip in when you go on that menu then its probably glitched.
The buggy does not spawn at the location provided, and on reddit I read that it apperas somewhere else for other people. is it randomised?
