Alcast, your still the bomb. Followed your guide, love the antiquities system, took about 5 hrs to L7, enjoying it so much, didnt rush. Got the Stranglers. Took 3.5 hrs. (2hrs fishing). the gold leads are tricky to excavate. The stranglers are...just awesome. dropped monster set, 1 kena, TS, acolyte & MS. Precise front bar, 70% crit & 7K SpD. Now the mount. One note, another vid said the purple lead respawns in Eyevea. IT Doesn't. Just did the zones, just so much fun. Keep the guides & Builds coming, your presence and skill in ESO is needed.

Unbeknownst to me until I finally found the location on my own (surprisingly), it was apparently hidden in a bit of a rock pillar out of that small town by Marbruk. Any small zone is good. Khernartis roost, Bleack Rock...Eyveya is really good too. Also afaik in one of the last pts patches they added a limit on how many times you can use the Augur (radar) so this spamming will most likely not be possible.
@Alcast Hiya, in your written guide you state "Eyevea grind also works. Players confirmed that Green > Blue > Purple can be repeated an unlimited amount of time there." This must of been patched, you can no longer repeat purples, you might want to delete this portion of the guide. Other than that great guide, thank you.
this is a great guide! with that said, gold (yellow) lead excavation is WAY different and nobody is showing it completed. i've tried a few times and COMPLETELY uncovered the chest yet i still fail them. any tips?
You will need to use the tools correctly, find the location of your item before digging, use the Brush to level out the layers above your item, and use the trowel to go down, think about a 3 by 3 square, then brush down to your item, use your remaining time to find bonus loot
Haven't played in 3 years since Morrowind, I just picked up Greymoor, Elsweyr, Summerset bundle in a Black Friday deal. Looking forward to leveling this skill on my new necromancer. Can you transfer the antiquities or excavated items to other charactors?
Ok dumb question, because i have no knowledge of this, but it says you can sell your leqds to a merchant, where do you sell them? I havent found a merchant that buys
is it known whether the mythic items will be character bound or regular account bound?? I'm actually excited to do antiquities, I think its a neat system and it will be fun questing. equally i don't wanna have to do it on more than one character for the mythic items lol
in a earlier stream about the mythic items they said they are account bound, same for the leads. So you can place them in the bank and switch them to another character.

Just a heads up, the purple lead on Eyevea is not unlimited. It stopped giving it to me after doing 4 purple leads. Tried relogging to see if it may be a bug, but still didn't reward a purple lead.
Is it just me or do the ones In the wild just not spawn until like a set time or something? I went up and down the same spot for an hour and finally the dig spot spawned in a spot that I had passed multiple times..
Just a quick question....aren't most of these Mythic items only really usefull for pvp? I don't really see an item that is improving my builds slightly or at all for in pve...maybe the Thrassian Stranglers , but that is debate able as well.
I have a master crafter who can do alchemy, enchanting, jewelry, smithing ect. Should I use that character or should I use a different one. P.S my crafter is also my farmer who's fastest of all my characters and do I need to complete the story for DLC Skyrim to start this new skill line?

I’m probably going to Artaeum to see if there’s anything that I can scry and dig for. I’m seriously wanting to increase my scrying and excavation levels because I have some leads I’m dying to get to.
Small correction : I have a few higher level leads I’m seriously wanting to get to - and hopefully will get to soon. Hopefully maybe even starting sometime today. Fingers crossed that I can get to higher level leads.
Someone explain this to me, do you have to go to different zones for leads to get the different leads for different mythic items or can you get all the mythic pieces in 1 zone?
All I needed to see was the last part. The video is reverse tbh. I didn't understand the first chapters of the video if you did like first gameplay then talking it'd be better. It felt like I watched for nothing the first parts but the gameplay part made me understood. I'm visual.
You may want to correct yourself as a few furnishing items are legendary and require you to get to level 10! So this 5 hour guide is'nt correct to get "top level" anymore.
I heard you need at least 30 skills points, so if I wanted to do this I need to grind skill points then grind this ? not for me, I'll just buy the items if I can

ZOS´s team that works on ESO is very small and It feels like all the money ZOS gets from player subs and the store does not go to the "betterment" of the game, in hiring more people to work on ESO so everything can grow! Just the same little team with the same mainstream priorities as they have had in the past! Where do all my sub money go?! A small portion of our money goes to maintain the game just to the point where ZOS can keep the wheel going and fix just the upmost game-breaking Buggs and put out an expansion every year that is drop-fed to us over that year just as they did last year and the year before that. ZOS only makes server upgrade when the whole player base screams at them for a year that the game runs like trash! They are never "ahead" and always behind when it comes to "spending money on solving game-problems"! ANd you just feel that as a player and my god it is a trash feeling ZOS gives you when you love the game so much! AND PAY FOR IT!

Only high skill players complains about performance and latency or the lack of choice with to few weapons. So it will never be added. Why add a new class when it will more or less be played the same way as you exisiting characters with 2 or 3 different class based abilities :(

Another great zone that you can use is Eyevea. The purple lead is repeatable there, unlike the other zones.

Eyevea gives Purple leads from excavating all the time as there is no enemies who could drop them BTW.

I know you can do Gold leads at 7 scrying but is it even possible to Excavate the lead when digging or do you run out of time?

No you can keep at it, you'll level up scrying. When you get to 160 you'll be able to use mythics

You gather the fragments just as you would for mythic items, but they are more common since they are found from blue and purple leads
