- Along with the EC3-C, ZOWIE is also introducing a new C version mice lineup that features weight reduction, paracord cable, and 24-step scroll wheel. The first available will be the EC series.

This isn't. No. The zowie ec-2a I have is perfect. Ec-1 is just bigger. Ec-2b changed sensor which was good, but changed the week which isn't better than the rubber rgb wheel on the ec-2a. This ec-3 is smaller, OK, but has worse wire. I have my 2a for 3 years now, it's more than 6 years old. Still looks and feels like new. So I hope the craftsmanship quality of the body will stay the same.
@@ancientslav4863 paracords are some of the best mouse wires you can get since you hardly feel any drag when moving the mouse around. Braided and even rubber mice are stiffer and, although more durable, can be felt more while doing huge movements in games.

I love the fact that they have a broad line-up of mices for all shapes and sizes. Most manufacturers would discontinue their older products in turn to maximize profits but Zowie have always prioritized their customers and have designed their products with them in mind. I've been with them since 2012 back when I tried out around 60 different mices and fell in love with the Zowie-AM. It got to the point where I panicked when I couldn't find a replacement after mine broke so I made sure to always purchase a backup mouse just in case.

@@wisher9823 thanks for your sharing; for us, we think the cable design should be considered together with mouse weight and other details into an overall grip/glide feeling, that is why we still keep rubber cable on our current non-C series. We feel a lighter and soft cable may not match to current non-C series, if do that, then it is easier to feel the drag and bounce feeling comes from cable.

I just got my copy yesterday and I must say I'm beyond impressed and blown away. The shape of the EC3 is perfect IMO. With the new scroll wheel I no longer have issues in game where I need a big scroll down really quickly. And the cable is perfection, basically wireless feeling in a bungee.
To sum it up. Personally all these new improvements and new shape not only brought zowie back but made them the top contender for best mouse. Again only my opinion. But I think that shape is king. No matter if it's wireless or wired. When your shape is right your grind is right

My favorite thing about Zowie mice is all the subtle changes made with different batches. They are constantly improving tiny nuances over time without many people realizing it. I've bought 3 EC2 mice since Overwatch came out and they all felt different in some way, improving upon a previous iteration. Excited for my 4th Zowie mouse to arrive this week, the EC3!

Pleeeaase release the fk1+ and ec1 c versions somewhat soon. I fear it’ll take years due to how slowly prior Zowie release schedules have gone. Us big handers are really struggling to find shapes big enough in the current day market of tiny mice. I’m using the Model O until the FK1+ is light enough to move back to. Thanks!

Good to know about this update of the EC line and the new Ec3. But you (Benq/Zowie) should definitely bring better prices to the Brazilian market. The current version of the EC2 for example (which costs 70 dollars) is found at almost the same prices as mice that cost 150 dollars in the US (G pro x superlight for example), for me it doesn't make sense, other brands have been struggling to bring equivalent prices abroad, you should also do so, as this makes it very difficult for your own brand to dominate the Brazilian market. Awaiting EC3 with fair prices in Brazil, thank you!

got the xl2546 since release, great buy, but i changed my EC1-A -> EC1-B -> EC1 -> G Pro Wireless -> Ultra Pwnage Custom Wireless (EC2 with better scrollwheel, honeycomb shell, 60g, wireless). I would go back to Zowie for mice only if they had Wireless around 60grams. But it's sadly not competitive enough apart from the great shapes. Hopefully also they release a 360Hz with DyAc in the near future. Cheers

I have tried 20+ different mice since 2017, always ends up with my Zowie EC-2 in the end.
Just switched back from my Vaxee Outset couple of days ago and this release gets announced!

If the ec3 is roughly 70 grams, the za13c should be under that as it is a small mouse. Might actually have to get it or the fk2c.

@@benjaminmichaels1759 No, maybe for most people but not me. I have both plugged in and the difference of a wire is extremely noticeable for me even with my paracord.
That shape alone made me go back to my old af ec2a from a g pro x, and yeah i have to say it took me a long time to get used to that cable again

Frankly, hats off to this company, there is something to be said for a corporation that despite being as huge as BenQ is, still puts proper work and attention to detail to their craft, the normal thing would be for them to try to standardize 1 single model, but they instead continue to make a bunch of models and create even new ones, and universally improve all of them.
You'll be paying the premium when you buy a Zowie mice, but this is one of the few times i can safely say it is absolutely worth every single penny.

Great and love the break down, but make it wireless and atleast 75g or lower and it will sell like no other. The weight should be easy for them sine they dont have rgb and other items.
I bought into the "smaller and lightweight gaming mice are objectively better" mentality since I made the switch to MnK recently within this past year. Initially I tried several mice, all smaller in size and lightweight. Finally tried the EC1 and man, it was like I was home. I play a wide variety of competitive FPS games but Halo is my main title. It's tracking dominant. I find the EC1 shape, size and weight to assist me in better aiming. I feel like I have more control and can not only flick to my targets easier but track them easier as well.
Thank you for making the EC1! I have massive hands and am palm grip, is there any chance you guys will make an EC1+? That would be a dream come true. Great products, guys. As mentioned before, I have the SR pad, Camade II and now the EC1.

I really liked the approach on the new EC3-C with these changes,
But I genuinely want Zowie mice to compete with the big steps other mice manufacturers are taking.
A wireless mouse would be a HUGE step in the right direction, because of what I have experienced with Zowie mice is that the build quality and the overall feeling of the mouse is just spectacular.
I had an unmatchable experience using the EC2, but I really think a EC3 Wireless would bring my attention back tremendously.

@@ZOWIEeSports As for how I understand it is that humans have a minimum of how small movements they can do with their arm/hands. Increasing the weight will make you able to do smaller movements on the cost of speed which is the same benefit as too lowering the sensetivity of the mouse.
I'm unsure if I'm correct but when using the same angular acceleration for the arm and hand, the arm will move a longer distance than the hand and this is the reason to why it's easier to do small movements with your hand XD?

niceee, yeah, it is very complicated, it could also relevant to your muscle strength and muscle memory of different parts of your body, and also the way how you play in game, and also the controllability sometimes is not the same to good durability....so each one may have different fits. I love my EC2-C, but I often feel like there’s not quite enough room to rest my ringfinger/pinky on the right side. Meanwhile the EC1 is a bit too large I find. Still exceptional mice, but a man can dream.
That theoretical EC1.5 variant + with a better scroll wheel/easier to actuate middle click would be the best mouse ever imo.

We will have white/speedy skates as optional accessory to buy on our website as to service customer who has different preference.
And regarding scroll, we know it may still feel stiff and also loud to some ppl, but an identical and reliable scrolling is what we want to offer for competitive playing.
@@ZOWIEeSports The white/speedy feet should come with the mouse, especially since the prices for wired mice are getting really competitive lately, zowie features and pricing is really far behind. Especially when you have companies such as Endgamegear and Vaxee which i believe are the your main competitiors pushing out similar products with toptier competitive features. Also, no offense, but i can't find a single person who likes zowie scroll wheels, its loud and hard to actuate and scroll. I've been trying all sorts of mice recently and the logitech gpx wheel really stands out (buttery smooth, yet defined steps and isn't too lightly tensioned too the point where you accidentally actuate it) such a shame the shape doesn't suite me tho. Anyways thanks for reading this if you did, i just love the shape and i hope to see further improvements in the future.

Zowie we need a Zowie S3-C , Zowie FK3-C and Zowie ZA13-C with shorter length of 118 millimeter for people with small hands and has same weight with the ec3-c 70 grams with cable , 24 steps scroll wheel , paracord cable. Come on Zowie i believe in you. Give love for us small handed people.

Does this use the same mouse feet as the EC2? I have some aftermarket spares, and honestly this mouse is pretty damn near perfect for me! I just hope they fit.

I palm a g703 but it's a bit too small so my fingertips fly in the air, and the EC1-C's dimensions look like they are made for my hand. Looking forward to trying it.

Why is the ec2-c dimensions bigger than the regular ec2? Is the ec3-c replacing the old ec2, since they are the same dimensions?

I prefer the ZA13-b White glossy version. Will there be a ZA13-c white glossy version as well in the future? I generally really prefer the glossy coating so i hope there will be that option as well

360 hz ips sitll has worse motion handling than the 2540k and 2546k. I honestly don't think they can ever get IPS to feel like TN.,

Hey zowie. You say that the ec3 is smaller and not as long as the old ec2. But both mice length ls 120 mm. Did you guys do something different when measuring them? Or actually changed the dimensions of the ec1 and ec2 with the new versions?

Hey... Do you guys fix the tensioning and pretravel on m1 and m2? Because m1 and m2 feel extremely different on my ec2 and ec2 divina while the ec2-a was a lot better even though the click is much heavier. M2 on the ec2 and the ec2 divina is a lot lighter than m1 and it causes many misclicks which makes it almost unusable imo...

i dont see the difference in size the old ec2 series has 120mm in length. then zowie says they made ec3-c shorter in size than ec2 but lenght is still same 120mm...whats the point?!

First week of my Zowie EC3 and I absolutely love it overall, the shape is perfect and the weight reduction is amazing. A slightly smaller and lighter vesion of the EC2 is everything I've ever wanted from Zowie, and oh boy does it not disappoint. I feel 60-65g is the sweet spot for tracking/flicking after trying out several light weight mice.. but the 70g is still very nice and the EC3 has improved my accuracy a good 3-10% overall. Let's shave just a little more weight off these things for the next release! I retired my EC2 and have set up the EC3 as my main daily mouse with a pair of Hyper Glide mouse feet on a Zowie GSR. My only REAL complaint is the scroll wheel. Going to a 24 step was a terrible idea for a gaming mouse, it requires too much precision for weapon switching and can be accidentally scrolled when using the middle mouse click.. which is used often and for important things like abilities/walking/fire mode switching/grenades/pings etc. The scroll wheel regularly gets stuck inbetween scrolls as well which can be annoying and actually cause you to lose games. This was an issue with previous Zowie mice before the EC2 release last year which had a wonderful scroll wheel, somehow we're taking a step back here and reintroducing a problem that was already solved with a previous mouse iteration. This issue alone would keep it from seeing professional play from me personally and I have to focus too much energy on the middle click by pressing it in a way that isn't as natural just to prevent it from happening a lot. While the scroll wheel is better for everyday use when scrolling webpages, it's flat out worse for gaming... and we really only buy these mice for gaming. Zowie, you NEED to stop listening to the people who don't actually use your mice.. we want gaming mice.. so make them for gamers and not just to please UA-camr's who are going to review it, whine about things on the mouse that gamers NEED and then not use the mouse anyways. This ends up presenting you with casual users who are unhappy and not going to use it, and gamers who are unhappy and not going to use it... you simply can't please anyone in that regard. Focus on the gamers who are actually buying and recommending your mice to other gamers, because at the end of the day those are the people who made Zowie the brand it is today. A great idea from me personally would be to make Desktop and Pro versions of each mouse to make everyone happy, an "EC3-D" = Desktop/24 step scroll wheel for everyday use and "EC3-P" = Pro/16 step scroll wheel for competitive gaming. I would actually buy 2 mice set up like this for daily use just to avoid middle click scrolling on 16 step mice. Also, I wish you guys would bring back the crispy clicks and mushy side buttons from the EC2-A 2016-1017 mice! I never used to accidentally left click or actuate M5/M4 when grabbing my mouse after typing and they just felt so good to use. I'm not accidentally clicking a lot with my EC3 like I was on my EC2, but I never had this issue with the heavier clicks/mushier side buttons on older Zowie mice. These mouse clicks feel a little too light/mushy/cheap, they aren't a deal breaker but they definitely don't feel as good as the older mice. There's no worse feeling than grabbing your mouse in the dark and missclicking or even swiping a low sensitivity 180 only to missclick on a heavy landing. Between the crappy scrollwheel, the lighter clicks, and slightly above mediocre side buttons that never needed to be improved upon in the first place.. I'd give the EC3 a 7.5/10. If it was 60g, had the EC2-A 2016-17 heavy clicks plus mushy mechanical side buttons, and the 2020 EC2 16 step scroll wheel.. this would be a 10/10 mouse hands down.

@@ZOWIEeSports Don't think that you aren't good enough, you guys do amazing things for the mouse industry and have set a very high bar for every other brand out there to follow. Of course we can all do better, but I really think Zowie is losing touch with their core audience of dedicated competitive gamers due to crappy UA-cam reviews from people these mice were never intended for. Zowie used to be the king of competitive gaming mice.. and it's just getting harder to recommend Zowie mice when so many other brands are competing close to your level now. I think with a better focus on what competitive gamers actually want, and seperating that from what casual gamers actually want will provide you with a unique opportunity to bridge out into the mainstream market. I do really love the EC3 and am very happy with the mouse, as always I will adjust and continue purchasing newer and better iterations of my favorite mouse.

The best mouse for my hand is zowie ec1-c!I buy the new wireless version but the skroll is very bad and i send it back to shop and play with cable version

When we developed EC3, the effort is as same as a new one, not really about modifying EC2 shape, and keeping internal design. And even when we developed EC2-C, the internal design is also different comparing to EC2 ^_^

Wish there was a way to try these mice before buying them. They're really expensive to begin with. And while I do think their prices are understandable given the quality and work that goes into researching, its still a lot of money that I dont think a normal player can just spend to try and find out its not for them. I've tried fk2 from a friend for a week and really liked it. So I went ahead and bought it. But these days, Im feeling like I should switch to ergo mice but theres no stores I could go to, to try them out for myself
