Thanks for sharing, just wanted to see an overview and will make sure to have my funnel handy. Custom oil filter tray diverter was smart but that makeshift funnel wasn’t. Clean oil through a dirty funnel is like drinking purified water out of a dirty cup.
Call me paranoid, but I would slide a second jack under the car next to the hydraulic jack. If the hydraulic jack fails, at least you have a fixed jack to stop the car from crushing you.
I agree! Although This jack is brand new. This is my second home and my shop is 2,000 miles away with all my tools. For some reason I couldn’t find the other jack stand. In this garage.
I have a 2025 touring and I noticed that is two different air conditioning drain for the condenser one for the front and one for the rear the one for the rear it’s not draining any water it’s normal or not. Anybody have the same issue

I agree, but for what it’s worth, the cardboard was clean..
The oil is picking up paper fibers as it flows through your cardboard funnel and into the engine…
I guess the filter will eventually trap it.

Erics, I’m with you! Better to have a set of two jack stands holding the vehicle up while using the jack as a backup!

Was there a screw in the tire? Time stamp 0:54 or so, the screw(at least looks that way) was in the corner of the inner side of the tire.

That oil filter 🤦
Oil filter location is horse shit.
I agree…the engineers can’t make it readily accessible? 🤨
But…not nearly as bad as the GM 3.6L V6. You can’t even see the filter…you gotta do it by feel. 🤨
@@carlovanrijk4039I burned the shit out of myself on one of those 😂
@@davewilson7602 I have no doubt about that! It’s in a piss-poor location. What were the engineers thinking? 🤨
