Definitely! I'm sure it would look sick as long as the rotoscope/magic mask is good. I found this website pretty helpful when I was messing with it for the first time: jayaretv.com/fusion/trails-node/
It’s a masking tool you can use to cut out whatever shape you want. In this video I just used it to draw around my logo and remove the background. Very useful!
Yea definitely! I added a transform node to the logo. At frame zero I keyframed size at 0. At frame 24 I set size back to 1. I also adjusted the x-offset at frame 0 and 24 to make it look like it’s moving cross screen. Hope that helped!
@@VisualMarkus Ok it makes since now, I have been trying to figure out how you got it to look the way it did. The transform portion I understood, thanks for the quick reply.
Yea that is tough. You could try rotoscoping the bobber, applying the trails node to just that clip, then overlaying that on the original footage. Good luck, lmk if I can help
You may know your stuff, but as a teacher, you leave much to be desired. What is your hurry? You’re in such a hurry You’re even cutting off certain words. But you’re not alone, most people who try to teach have no idea what they’re doing… They can’t see the world through the eyes of their students.
@@VisualMarkus Slow down, dats all. Your content is good but if you want us to learn, try to explain a bit slower. This method might work on shorts but for a long form content you should consider a slower approach otherwise they will move on to some other channel.

I keep getting a merge node and a green box pops up that transforms but my logo doesn’t
I was unable to watch this as it was too hurried with too many soundbites linked together. Such a shame.
can you show how you got to this point instead of showing just the trail portion. I would like to know how you transformed the logo.

Appreciate the feedback. I don’t really know my stuff I just started
