RIP MYLES...saw my comment 3 years ago. Was watching an interview from about 3 years ago. He said how people , himself deal with Depression. This track definitely fits that feeling.

Saw them back in 1980, 82 and 83. one of the most under rated bands ever. Great writing, melodies, a complete band.

Being from Halifax,Nova Scotia April Wine has always meant so much to me,my brother and I would have a secret way of getting into the Halifax Form because we had no money, were young boys and wanted to see them play and we always did for free,lol,LOVE APRIL WINE!

Miles was the voice of rock. unmistakable for anyone else. Got laid a million times with his sweet stylings playing in the background. I will never forget. To this day the goosebumps are palpable

I owe a lot of joy to Canadian rock bands. April Wine number 1 (so many well written songs), Aldo Nova number 2 (Fantasy... come on).......well that is a hard one to call with one of the greatest guitarist/vocalist of all times (Rik Emmett) and Gil Moore's harmonies of Triumph.
I am sure I lost some hearing listening to those 3 bands in my youth....the only thing I would change if I could do it again...I would turn it up even louder. What a ride!!!
Yes we can't forget Rush....saw 2112 tour in "the round".

this song rips. i had forgotten all about this album.. april whine was so much better than many of the bands famous in the 80s. I would play this song for session time with the ladies. it was a good make-out tune. fond memories of house parties and the screw crew. Badass little country girls. what would it have been like without the ones that weren't afraid to get wild as fuck. I miss em. sure wont forget how fun they made the shit hole I grew up in.

Canada had bands that were as good as the best bands in the world, and we always knew it. April Wine was one of them. From a compositional standpoint, they could do it all, and they rocked. :)

Interesting juxtaposition, maybe if April Wine would have released this song before his untimely death he might be alive today. Wishful thinking on my behalf but I'll take April Wine over Rush and Canadian rockers over Amercans despite being born and raised in the USA .
