- I lived under a streamers rust base for days without them knowing anything. This was all recorded on one of the most populated vanilla rust official servers.

@@jamesdobson5101 Well, depends but don't expect too much good loot because majority of the rich players fly in and out. You might get lucky and hit ak full metal once in a blue moon. But you are more likely to hit a resource jackpot.

Great video. Tip for future. Break the TC after it’s built upkeep is free for 24hrs, because the TC was empty the base immediately starts to decay. Make one of the raised foundation lower and place 1/2 wall and tri-ceiling, it means you can soft side a guaranteed 1/2 wall rather the foundation. Make it look raided leave a box, furnace and maybe T1 inside with a metal door and a lock.
Great advice. I was thinking about the TC breaking thing, but I was too lazy and didn’t think it would make a difference. Definitely will next time though, thanks.
@@Darknesslayer have the simplest trap base that score loot you should try, requires mine and SG trap. 1 Sqr & 1 tri foundation and 2 walls placed on road. Victim runs along road sees lock box and can’t resist. Avoids the rear wall SG trap and approaches from the front were he is met by 3 well placed mines. Constant loot from day 2 onwards.

He didn’t even give them time to build the base up 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the loot was terrible for the amount of time and effort he put into it your crazy to think this was good content plus it clearly doesn’t work because if you don’t get luck by finding a drill in the base ur trapped inside with the loot anyways so it’s dumb affff

Now the big brain idea would be to set up a spot like that in your main base! Wait till someone raids then when and if they take over your base you can spawn in and wipe em out! also, it would be smart to add a stash or box with some supplies!
Most raiders don't take over a base unless it's a small 2x2 for a FOB/Flank. Otherwise, they just take all the loot out because of the hassle of dealing with existing doors and whatnot.

Might be interesting to create a base with some gear to help you break out hidden in your secret basement. Use the upper base for a while like you are actually trying to live there until someone takes it from you, then sabotage them and break out.. post a sign saying thanks for the lootz.

Me and my duo did this on a 350 pop server and built 13 bases with 1 hit and it was prim gear farmers so we broke even after ecoing out

I’m a streamer myself and ab to start making UA-cam videos, what do you use to record and edit? I’m currently using stream labs to record and stream but idk if I should be doing something else
I’ve used streamlabs before but then reset my pc and just started using OBS again. Simpler IMO and since I don’t stream, then normal OBS is good enough for me.

Consistency and click through rate(CTR) are big
Consistency is not something I’m great at but wish I was better at, because I think I could be more successful if I was.
CTR is very important as it shows UA-cam how appealing your video is to people that havnt watched it yet. Make a good CUSTOM thumbnail that will capture people’s attention, and title it something that makes the viewer want to know more.
