How to Crochet: Easy Double Crochet Beanie / Striped Dylan Claire Beanie (Women's Size)

The Striped Dylan Claire Beanie is an easy crochet beanie pattern worked in simple double crochet stitches, and available in 7 sizes from Newborn through Adult Large. I'm showing how to work the Teen/Adult Small size.
I made this striped beanie as part of the 2021 Crochet Cancer Challenge hosted by Sweet Potato 3. The gold/yellow is for Childhood Cancer Awareness, and the white is for Retinoblastoma Awareness.
You'll need Worsted Weight Yarn - I'm using Swish in Honey and White, an H8/5mm Crochet Hook, and Tapestry Needle, plus a soft tape measure as gauge is important.
