Minor bike tip theo, already have your shoes clicked onto the pedals and fasten them while on the bike. Will also allow you to get a few rotations in without full power for blood flow.

Get a number belt - couple of quid of amazing saves pinning them to your jersey 2. Get some clip on aero bars, does make a difference 3. Get a bike computer and heart rate monitor belt to save you looking at your watch (if you are worried about that - but tbh just focus on speed) Great to see

Forget the Socks and Sprint and Standard Distance save so much time. Talc in the Bike and Trainers and a bit of vasaline on the back to help with any rubing. If you are having issues with cramp electolite mix in the bottles and not water. Get in those brick sessions

I have major stomach cramp problems as a semi-elite triathlete specializing in the sprint distance… the only solution I have come up with after trying loads of recommendations is to skip the pre race caffeine. I am a frequent coffee drinker and it usually makes me feel great for hard workouts but for some reason my stomach can’t handle it during races. Try it at a low stakes race and see if it works for you!

Fair play you’ve been really unlucky with injuries, and I bet it’s been awful not being able to play football like as much as youd hope. So to switch sport and do this well done 👏👏
Get syrup flavour quaker oats man super easy to get down if ya dont eat breaky usually. Can basically drink them. If not get a smoothie maker n out allsorts init like peanut butter oats eggs. Anything.
