I usually apply unnecessary heat to my clients hair. I prefer to braid it while it’s kinky & coarse as it helps my grip 🙏🏾

my husband has 4c hair, longer than this. i can cornrow it and it looks so clean until about midway through, the hair starts to get frizzy and isn’t slick like the rest of the braid. why is this? i use gel and blow dry the hair to stretch before.

Your braids might be too loose.. Try to braid tighter not unto the scalp but the braid itself.
