Toxodeath was one of my great finds along with The Chasm (who I think might not based in Mexico anymore?) when I was using torrents to get music before 2010.
Mighty Thor is some good Power metal! Also Agora is great progressive metal! Leporsy straight good death metal! Some of my suggestions! As a Mexican myself, there is a great plethora of metal subgenres covered in Mexico!
I love Blayne's pronunciation! hehe. A lot of old school stuff and with spanish lyrics. There's an insteresting situation regarding the lyrics here. There's a kind of division: there are Metal fans in México who regard the bands who sing in spanish as kind of inferior in some sense or even in poor taste... That's kind of a deeper cultural Problem/Phenomena: A love of everything foreign that's inmediately considered better and an underestimation of our own scene and our own language (in spanish there's a Name for it and it is called "malinchismo"). I'm mexican and I even didnt know a Lot of these Bands!! Gracias Banger! A huevo, pinche Blayne!!
This episode was more like a tribute to those underground bands from the 80’s to current days. However, the Mexican death-metal scene is way more technical and offers better productions and great sound diversity, I hope to see Blayne approaching to it soon! ;)
Growing up I had a compilation cd that was called "Lo Más Potente de Metal" which is the most powerful metal. They had bands like Luzbel, Z, and Aspid. Really cool intro to Mexican bands since before that I just knew of Transmetal and Brujería
@@fungifago that's oddly specific.. industrial in Mexico tends to go more towards aggro (Hocico, Amduscia, Dulce Liquido). Doom is generally Death-Doom.
@@TheinvisibleorangeMetalI'm mexican (writing in english so more people can understand) but I'm not really familiar with the mexican doom metal scene, and I'm very into bands like Godflesh, P.H.O.B.O.S., Blut Aus Nord, Depressor, Lament Cityscape, Halo and other bands that tend to blend doom with industrial and some death metal, often sludge, and I was curious if some bands is experimenting with that kind of sounds here in México 🤘🏼

I could've given this video a thumbs up before watching because (1) it's a BangerTV video, and also (2) it's a Blayne video. Absolutely love the enthusiasm, as always, and enjoy hearing about bands that I probably would not have otherwise.
I can see Blayne and Dekay on a research stream on this scene while downing so many six-packs. As a mexican...man, I need to invest on this style, they sound very fun. Sad to not see Strike Master on this (well, kinda expected, they're more thrash than speed, as Blayne said on earlier videos "I didn't asked for thrash, I asked for speed!"). I'm happy to see my country beign talk in this matter. Also seeing Blayne butcher spanish word doesn't get old at all.
Great selection of bands and the best with Spanish lyrics, that makes me feel prouder of the scene of my beautiful country. I didn't know Hatewolf, WTF with those guys XD. More than happy with this video, I'd expected it since the beggining of the season. Cheers from Mexico, ¡ahí se lo lava pinshi Blayne!
You only need to look at the concerts in Mexico, it quickly becomes clear that they have an amazing and loyal metal scene! I'm not surprised that they have great bands.
I'm very glad that overkill global is back I've got and idea for a future episode and can offer my help in creating it It would be great to cover Spanish neocrust scene, from galacian city Coruña i. particular Here are some reasons why it is interesting -It was very influencial inside in its genre. Fall of efrafa, Wolfbrigade and others sound very close to this sound. Spain is not famous for its heavy music, especially as a influencing scene. This underground curiosity is an exception -It appeared and dissapeared very fast, in about 6-7 years (2002-2009). It seems there were some unusual social consiquences for this. Many lyrics are about the wrongs of progress and political issues. The strange part - there were a lot of bands in this one town, not just bands created by the same people. This scene pushed the boundaries of crust. Ictus - Imperivm , for example, is 40 minute single track crust opus that is crazy coherent and very well-written. Unusual for a genre which is build on 2-3 minutes songs. Madame German sound like death metal crust. I can name other interesting bands I can help by interviewing artists in their native language, since I know Spanish fluently enogh, or at least by sending them written uestions if there is no other option Thank you for reading this. Hope to see your response. Much respect from Russia

A Toronto landowner getting snarky about convertible owners, ha! Excellent vid as always from Blayne. If Banger hosting styles had genres, Blayne would be Speed Metal. High energy, silly fun.
Greetings to all from Russia! Why is no one talking about the coolest band from Ukraine "Bestial Invasion"? They already have 4 albums, but few people remember her, the material is killer, they play Technical Thrash, and on the extreme album called Divine Comedy: Inferno!A lot of styles are used, I will not spoil it, listen to this brilianl, I assure you you will not be sorry!!!
Awesome video dude! Thanx for putting out our scene on the web! All the bands you mentioned are awesome. There are obviously dozens and dozens more. What we lacked in production and equipment, we more than made up in the energy department. I think it’s fair to say that Transmetal, Next, Mortuary, Toxodeth and even Khafra are some of the metal titans from our scene. My band had the fortune to play with many of them. Now the newer bands like the mighty Strike Master, Cemican, Buffer and Here Comes The Kraken are waving the flag high for Mexican metal. Again, thanx for taking the time to talk about our scene! Thrash on (I prefer “thrash” over “speed” metal 😝)!
Greetings from México! It's great how you dig up some all time mexican classics. Gotta do a second part! We are a band of brothers as well 🤘🤘🤘 Last year we released 5 ripping cuts, check them out! ⚡

Si no estuviera Khafra en esta lista me hubiera castrado. Una absoluta leyenda del metal sonorense. A huevo que siguen tocando, mi compa gringo. Voy a verlos este 30 de diciembre. Metaaaaaal.
Thank you for this episode. I enjoyed it, and glad to see my contribution as a shoutout to my favourites: AGRESOR!!! Agresor recorded two demos in 1988/1989. Most songs were re-recorded for a 2017 release "El Gran Dragón" on Mexican Steel Productions as their very first "album", although they were always active since the 80s. So you can add them to the list of never break up. In 2021 they released the original demos as a compilation. Ok another note, I have listened to KHAFRA (in this episode as Nox Kruent) since 1988 or so as I'm originally from the same State. And I was not familiar with that demo under the previous name! I remember the talk about it now after the fact, but had forgotten about that and I don't think I ever listened to that early demo. I saw the band live about 3 years ago and look forward to see them again later this month. One thing though, is that we always considered them absolute classic straight-up good-ol' Heavy Metal. Never thought of the Speed Metal label for them. Finally, also shout out to another classic, the band NEXT also formed by brothers, the Alanís brothers. They might also be in that speed/thrash thin line, but I keep them on the speed side of the line myself. 👊🏼
Good bands, however, Being from Mexico I can recommend "INTROTYL" , "IRA", "QUIMERA", "S7N" and "Tritton" you won't regret! Thanks Banger for looking into our beloved Mexican Metal!!

Que buenas bandas tiene Mexico!! voy a escucharlas
in brazil that's called "vira-lata" (underdog)
the word became famous after the defeat at the world cup final in 1950
It's funny if you think about it, the every power metal band from Spain proudly sings in Spanish but why can't Mexican bands do that?
best mexican metal band i've heard:The Chasm .They have a pretty consistent discography throughout their career.

I was hoping for the real epic Death Doom scene we have in Mexico! Starting with Cenotaph, Denial, Majestic Downfall, Question and many others
Add Matalobos, Autumn's Agony (doomy sympho black)
