Tetragrammacide album is beyond anything I have heard in war metal. Ultimate soundtrack of an exploding universe.
New Aparthiva Raktadhara full length is God tier. Pretty much positioned as my favorite death metal record this year. It's literally a gold mine for evilly twisted riffs and inhumane drumming, pure class.
Indian war/black metal scene which is based at Kolkata is known as K. I. O. P. or Kolkata inner order propaganda has so many great bands (Beside Tetragrammacide & Aparthiva Raktadhara) such as Banish, Necrodeity, Jyotisavedanga, Brahmastrika, Kapala, Nirriti, Vadhakarmadhikarin, Naramedha, Dakini, Mesmeric Revelation also PE/noise projects such as Abhyutthan and Utsarg. Check them out if you are interested in Kolkata sound.
kapala for the win!
any info on Abhyutthan and Utsarg
Thanks for the info! Much apprecaited!
Thanka
KAPALA!!! ⛓
Love this scene. Banished, Brahmastrika, Tetragrammacide, Jyotusavedanga, Tsalal, Genocide Shrines. Love the industrial noise these bands add to their music. I need a bullet belt and a gas mask to wear while banging to these bands.
Check out *Kapala* & *Nirriti* as well.
The production on Tetragrammacide is fucking awesome
Hellll yeah
TETRAGRAMMACIDE fuckyeah. I own Primal Incinerators in all available formats including two versions of LPs, regular ones and the die hard version. God tier album. Bizarre, innovative and incomparable. total respect for these maniacs,
Tetragrammacide is GNARLY! Cool to see them get a feature
Yeah, WILD band.
@@MetalComedy would you agree that this is a wild band?
Who needs to go to
*Ross Bay or Vancouver*
when you got
*Colombo and Kolkata?*
Its the asian version of conqueror and revenge! Hail!
Used to live in kolkata for job purposes but never thought would see the city's underground scene on a metal channel like this. Its pity that it doesn't get the recognition it deserves while being constantly berated by the poser bands as the real diehards know that they carry the truest spirit of any extreme music.
Reallyy wish all the early bands release their recordings, share it with the world.
We try and shed a light on scene that get overlooked whenever we can!
It’s 2022, just grow up. Poser thing almost don’t exist anymore.
When are we getting the second Tetragrammacide album? First one came out all the way in 2017 and it is 2022 now. Are they even active?
New Aparthiva Raktadhara album is sublime. ALREADY purchased it from HHB (before actual release date). They decided to up the ante in every fronts - speed, production, songwriting and intricacy. Surely in AotY top 5 for me.
The time is now.

konflict albums are equal to an air strike
😎
@@wyattxhim there you are ...i was hoping for you to show up my man...this air strike line is taken directly from your video ..its pretty accurate description of konflict
*"Trigger Universal Conflict"*
sure feels like a menacing air strike.
Maybe it's because *Antichrist Kramer* is in it.
But hey, that's just me!
Yeah, brace yourself.
*"A track starts with a guy vomiting!"*
@@MetalComedy
Kapala is also sick warnoise that you can barely hear. With a little industrial feel
Hails to the Sri Lankan War metal bands. \\m//
another important Indian noise-war project i would've included is Kapala, particularly their album Infest Cesspool. also there's a fantastic four-way split album called Impending Insidious Indo-Asian Imperium released on War Vellum iirc, split between Naramedha (India), Vadhakarmadhikarin (India), Biological Warfare (Korea) and Sewerhermit (Japan).
Since you have an Exnun song ( a Turkish death metal band) as the theme song, why don't you come down to Turkey to explore our death metal scene where you can find bands like Hellsodomy, Diabolizer, Burial Invocation and many more?
A fun fact: Danish DM scene, another scene covered in Overkill Global, and Turkish DM scene share a lot of members between them. For example, Hyperdontia guitarist Mustafa Gurcalioglu also plays in both Diabolizer and Engulfed, he played in Burial Invocation too.
This is cool to know and a good tip!
I would love to see a Turkish metal episode, lifelong Turkish metalhead here 🤘🏼
Hyperdontia fucking rules, as does Diabolizer, Engulfed, and Burial Invocation
Cenotaph, Molested Divinity, Meshum - All killer brutal death metal from Turkey!
Lets go!! Genocide Shrines & Konflict are world class. Also Aparthiva Raktadhara have a new project coming out this month on Ironbonehead.
Genocide Shrines is one of my all time fav bands ever. Got introduced to them in a live show back in 2017, lost my shit in the moshpit. Terrific energy!
Damn, would love to catch them live.
@@MetalComedy Blayne also check out the band called Orator from Bangladesh. Their album "Kapalgnosis"
I like their Col Kurtz'-eske album cover.
Genocide Shrines' "Manipura Imperial Deathevokovil" was my introduction to the region's war metal. Holy fuck! Every note they have recorded is essential. So great to see an interview with Sandesh from Cyclopean Eye. Thanks for the enthusiastically investigated and produced video!
check out war verellum for more Indian war metal. borders on war noise often.
I'm from Sri Lanka
We love you Banger!
We love you too!
Love how volatile these bands sound.
Really energetic.
Total chaos.
Hey I'm from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🇱🇰🇱🇰
Hails from Canada!
Is that a Begotten shirt? Blayne always repping the underground, good shit.
My girlfriend is from Colombo, Sri Lanka so it's really cool that you did this video!🤘😁🤘
Awesome!
@@MetalComedy she’s a pop music fan, but I am gradually turning her to the dark side. Unleash the Archers has been the best metal entry point for her so far! 🤘🏼
Men actually have girlfriends nowadays?!
Enjoyed this one a lot! ✌🏼💀
Best track from Genocide Shrines, great I tro and vocals too. Sounds good to my ears...
Like Blayne Smith said: "Wanna Bing,Wanna Boom!!!"
BOOOM!
I love discovering and listening to Metal from all over the World and I am definitely going to check some of these bands out. Thank you 🙏👍👍🤘🤘
You can go to facebook and check these pages out for more:

We're always trying to share as much metal from all over the world as we can!
Dude. This shit's great.
Next level. Tetragrammacide especially.
Hails from the Himalayas ⚔️
Genocide Shrines rules
Hails from Canada!
love these bands and man do a review on dragged into sunlight
WAW , what a blast , thanks !
Listening to Conflict felt like some of the most intense drill and bass wallnoise, legit hurt my head, kind of reminded me of Venetian Snares breakcore, and honestly, I want more of it lol.
Check out the Greek war metal scene..Unholy Archangel,Wargoat,Schizoparanoic Platoon,Goat,Impure Worship,Goatvomit,Aima etc.
What a delightful, unexpected surprise. If this metal-comedy thing falls through, you’d make an excellent social studies/geography teacher 👨🏼🏫🧑🏼🏫
I wouldn't trust a man dressed like that near my children. Last thing I want is them coming home with bell witch or hooded menace merch
@@UnsungUnderground the last shall be first, the meek shall inherit…a kid that listens to Bell Witch must be the most patient of all childhoods, zero discipline. No Menace.
@@UnsungUnderground 😄😄
I actually taught English in a French High School before this! Haha.
@@UnsungUnderground This is true.
Does the Peace Metal conuterpart sound less aggressive, then?
Props to the Sri Lankan and Indian war bands; but let's be honest Genocide Shrines and Tetragrammacide are their countries representation of Nyogthaeblisz.
Wow, a John Dwyer shout-out! I like pretty much everything he's done and that's saying something.
Seen him live in a few different bands. The amount of stuff he's done is crazy!
Finally, you post one video about some good music.
I mean, that’s all about perspective, m’ Lord.
*Damn right, they finally did.*
Hey, we finally got ya! Happy you like it.
Seriously those bands blew my mind and also brain
Interesting timing
awesome video
Hails from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Is that the Kaaba in the Indian record?
Yep
Correct
Blayne pls listen to Gravesend’s “methods of human disposal” from last year. It’s the best produced and most varied war metal-adjacent release I’ve ever heard. They’re from New York. I’m a total fanboy.
He featured them on metal monthly! Gnarly release
Haroldas Pilkauskas do you know which month?
I was literally wearing Gravesend shorts yesterday haha.
MetalComedy ok thank gawd. I got a hat in the mail last week

So down for Genocide Shrines. That shit sounded awesome lol
I fucking love Konflict! Amazing utterly amazing band.
Who knows how to spell that first band he mention in SHOUT OUTS? Alejandro Alejdisjahar??? I dont know can figure it out....
That Konflikt album almost sound like a particularly disturbed Igorrr sideproject.
Would really like to see an episode on the Chilean Nu Metal scene!!
Konflict almost blew my speaker
Proper description of Srilanka.
An underated indian prog metal band is Project Mishram... Check em out you will not be disappointed
Listen to Phospher Blanc, signed to Cyclopean Eye.
dude Sri Lanka is not 0.01% comparable to canada. it is not easy for people to find the underground hard workers in extreeme metal in Sri Lanka. but it is good to see Genoide Shrines & Serpent Athrist to be known by a large profile like BangerTV .
Canada must have some really good Meth...and Genocide Shrines are killer but I always thought they were more Death Metal.
Great video as always, so entertaining, but I can’t listen to War Metal.. that’d give me a headache after only 5 minutes..
Haha, that's very understandable.
Malaysia...?
konflict fvcking slayyyyys!!!!!!!!
check out their split with reek of the unzen gas fumes
Are you kiddin me... still waiting for serbian black metal
I have that Begotten shirt!
I ended up here from 'Mr Incredible gets uncanny' memes.
Hell yeah
☠️ 🇱🇰 💥 🇱🇰 ☠️
Blayne ate some sugary cereal and drank a Jolt before this one.
It fits with the music!
i saw a bathory fine day to die shirt and clicked like
Colombo is the capital city of Sri Lanka. I went to high school there.
Love to hear from locals!
@@MetalComedy not Sri Lankan! But I lived there when I was that age, and played in a band that did Metallica covers. Seems like the metal scene has come a long way since the early nineties.
Kapala is also a great war metal band, but they're from India.
The narrator sounds like Maurice from Little Monsters haha
serpent athirst also FUCKING rips
Blayne has the best taste in music out of all the Banger crew. He's a weirdo, tho
I am absolutely a weirdo. Thanks pal!
Blane review UNDERSIDE from Nepal
Konflict is boss af.
Though not war metal, check out Heathen beast! Also Bhayanak Maut and Chaos!
This is my shit
*ÖUGH*
aftet having listened to tetragrammacide and konflict it's difficult to find other music overwhelmingly abrasive and "too much" bcs its never enough
can't stop listening to third world control
sad that the comments might be a shitstorm since war metal can be a little anti-PC, some of the best music out there at the moment though
Yeah it's going to be a shitstorm cause they made a big deal about deathspell a few years ago and now here they are promoting nazi bands
@@nikosksydas7131 I mean none of these bands are nazi but go off I guess
@@captainobviouslylame3910 hhhhmmmm today I will check the split four ways to forcefuck the weak
@@captainobviouslylame3910 yes, konflict only had antichrist Kramer do guest vocals on an EP. No way the guy who runs satanic skinhead propaganda is a Nazi /s

Can we consider BOLT THROWER War Metal? 🤔
Is war metal a regional style/type of metal(India)?
Bolt Thrower isn't war metal, they're old school death metal. War metal is a style of black metal which incorporates a lot of death metal and grindcore influence. The first war metal band is Blasphemy (Blayne mentioned them earlier) and as far as I'm concerned it isn't really a regional scene, there are war metal bands all over the world
Lmao
Rudra from Singapore, pioneers in Vedic Metal
🗣️BETA!!!
It really sounds like these bands have picked up where Bolt Thrower left off...
Replace BT with Revenge and you'd be correct
you ranting about Sri Lanka and Canada thought you were on coke
High on life baybee
He is.
How about a Ukraine edition? Maybe complete with links to help those in need.
I second that. Love Ukrainian folk/black metal.
War Metal! OUGH!
They're good bands in their own way but it doesn't appeal to me unfortunately. Maybe we have different tastes in the war metal style. And they all pretty much sound identical to one another. But hey, that's just me.
Why didn't you give us a lecture on how racism is bad when you talked about Konflict?
Their split with
*Reek Of The Unzen Gas Fumes*
is a good example for that.
anyone else think blayne should just turn it down 5%...yikes...props to cyclopean eye!
Haha you're not wrong.
Even though I dig noise and metal, I just can't get into war metal.
maybe try war noise? shit like kapala should work for ya
You should give it a go to Gorenoise bands bro
@@sinnermeister thats barely even got metal in it tho
This seems less like a "scene" and more like "Blayne went to a 3 band bill when he was vacationing in Colombo and wanted to make a show about it". I'm also not convinced that there is a meaningful distinction between "war metal" and "poorly recorded blackened death metal", but maybe I'm just not enough of a connoisseur to appreciate the subtleties. Still, always happy to get more metal. Tetragrammacide sounds sick.
Hahaha, I love this comment.
I am hearing that some of these bands are SKETCHY as hell in the comments here. Thanks for warning me, Wyattxhim! Blayne's gonna have a hell of a time in this comment section...😬
I wouldnt trust wyatt "Deathspell Omega are technically left-wing" xhim if I were you
@@captainobviouslylame3910 Oh, don't worry... I don't COMPLETELY trust him. 😉 But on the other hand, what he believes is what he believes, even if I strongly disagree with him a lot of the time.🤷♂
You need content warnings for extreme metal?
@@eggwaffle If they are spouting rhetoric against certain groups of people, absolutely.

Thanks me later!!! 🔨🔨
there goes blayne our fav leftist talking about... konflict...
btw check out kapala, good shit
Hope he doesn’t research what Konflict lyrics are about
@@wyattxhim was waiting for you to say something bout that haha
@@wyattxhim oh no he better not find out about them being super sinhalese nationalist who devote so much hate into musically decimating tamils.
Konflict are far far far away from being Nationalist or NS! They are 100% anti-LTTE(any one using women and children as suicide Bombers should be drowned in acid), they are NOT anti-Tamil!!!. Any one with one or two brain cells can see that they are a mirror of current corruption in Lankan society! They despise their country’s power hunger politicians and monks, religious bigots and are a huge middle finger in their faces.
@@cyclopeaneyeproductions5373 look I love your label and I enjoy Konflict nor am I acting like I’m some white knight by saying this unlike Bangertv with their approach on DSO and Marduk but let’s be real Konflict has some sketch. They did collaborations with Anti Christ Kramer and a split with ROTUGF as well a split with Phosphore Blanc (NSBM).
I’m not trying to talk down on Konflict by bringing this up since I enjoy them as well I believe all art should be allowed with no limitations. However Bangertv likes playing white knight with even bringing up any kind of sketchy associations as criminal. Point blank Bangertv are hypocrites for the inclusion and should be called out
Not the best Konflict album. FWTFFTW and their split with Reek are better.
I usually follow the Bangers TV cause originally at least with one of the recent programm (South Korean scene) we may get a good notion on what's going on not only in Metal scene itself but the crossover (or not so) and anyways the hardcore and noisy acts... but this time... common, "War" Metal?!!! what a opportunistic (in all pejorative sense of the term) way to get clicks! First, is it really a genre? Some assumed that yes and many bought it. I won't go right to the literature, but please, defenders, explain then, cause this 21:04 vid don't. Assuming that the SriLankan and India's bands on it do the so called genre is pure reductionism. So what about "Peace" Metal, please, provide me a dissertation. We had acts like At War, the early Destruction, the late Sodom, Tank, oooh, are these just what War Metal is about? No more tags and media labelling to what they don't have a single clue, most of times. Don't put bands in buckets, trying to encapsulate the whole dynamics, let they doing their art without this war bullshit.
Are you mad that War Metal is a genre?
Well, it’s a sub genre of death metal really. There might well be peace metal bands that play out similarly to Christian black metal bands. Getting a stick up your ass because of hairs being split genre wise doesn’t help the argument that metal heads are open minded. Ultimately, if it bothers you that much, just enjoy the music and don’t pay the particulars of the genre no mind.
*_Boyd Blake Rice....you say? You mean the guy who isn't a nazi, he just works with nazis, promotes nazis makes music and art with nazis has had multiple shows cancelled because they say "yeah, he's a nazi"; that Boyd Blake Rice, Blayne? GJ Blayne!_*
I've a feelin' Blayne has strayed blindfold into the pestilential garden and contracted hipster COVID
Boyd Rice is amazing.
Konflict?? Goatowarex?? Hahahaha... I thought your wokeness didn't allow to speak about that label... hahahahaha
*_I'm sorry, WTF did you just say, "ironboneheadproductions"? The same ibh that has a distro of nazi-music and organizes and holds nazi-music festivals? The same ibh that has had his shop raided and trashed by German Police multiple times? GJ Blayne!_*
Worse still... Konflict had a split with a French neo Nazi band, released by cyclopean eye in 2020. Also, they had antichrist Kramer as a vocalist on one of their EPs.
I have listened to a couple of albums published by the label but none of them were NS metal bands. Are you sure what you're saying is true?
@@nisinduperera7130 the iron bonehead store literally has grand Belial key shirts for sale right now
@@shrivatsanragavan3236 I really don't know which bands are neo-Nazi or not. Have no clue about Belial either. I get almost all of my recommendations from AMG reviews and I believe they always reject sketchy bands.
Thanks for the warning man. I should be less ignorant when it comes to sketchy bands but then again I don't have enough time to go through all the backgrounds of these bands.
@@nisinduperera7130it's tough, especially in the black and war metal circles. And as someone from the subcontinent, I've struggled with that a lot. But a resource I've found useful is r/rabm on Reddit who have multiple threads discussing bands with problematic people or associations
