This is why I refuse to waste my $ on poly hair dolls anymore.
The 2nd top is not form fitting so they can wear the first one under it!
the poly hair+ cheap quality of the clothes is so sad, cuz the design is so good
Me personally I like the doll but poly hair is annoying
When we first saw the stock photos for the fearidescent line i was so taken back because it was a giant upgrade for g3 out of nowhere and i’d never seen dolls like them before but it’s so sad that everyone hates them since they have poly
honestly, the poly on this line is actually really soft and doesn't knot or get huge! Its actually decent, but thats after a conditioning boilwash, (it also worked really well on base clawdeen) Still though, we want saran. Frankie is one of my faves and I now have a lot of them but I hate how all the new dolls for frankie basically always have poly.
My fav design for Frankie cause I love that icy blue concept but the poly hair ruined everything for me.
For poly hair, I wash than put in conditioner and dip in boiling water that has fabric softener. Seems to help to make the hair nicer 🤷♀️ but I really HATE polypropylene hair.
She reminds me more of Abbey Bominable??
I was gonna wait on them but the glittery leg pleaseeee 😭 I needed them. My bangs were wonky af so I gelled the hell out of them and pushed them back with the headband, I like the doll so much more now. The blue hair chalk that came with spa day Lagoona matches the blue in Frankie’s hair almost perfectly fyi, I added some to the front strands 👩🏽🍳💋🤌🏽

I was planning on skipping this entire line because of the poly hair and due to a lot of people getting wonky dolls, but this Frankie in particular is sooooo pretty that I'm tempted to buy one
Yeah the difference from final product and prototype definitely killed some of my enthusiasm. Like I'm still planning on getting frankie from this series but am no longer planning on getting everyone from the series. And I just havent done it yet because so many better dolls came out at the same time or other dolls keep going on clearance so like
Defintey want them.
The coffins excite me, but I never end up doing anything with them. I want to spray paint them black and do something really cool. Overall, unmotivated though. I always cut 2-3 inches off all of my MH dolls that have the super long hair. Makes me feel better! Especially when it’s poly.
Im so torn… I love the design for a lot of dolls with Polypropylene hair but MH needs to do better and stop wasting budget on bulky plastic lockers and put the money into making quality dolls - hair and clothes ect.
