excellent work! especially the uppermaking! you didn't make a toebox right? if so, i am curious what the vamp lining is for. comfort? or just more toughness maybe? And i am also curious, if that is a special inkpad for leather or so that you use for branding the upper.
@@UnsungHouse Ahh thanks! I just confirmed with the Campbell Randall folks that the servo motor (at least the one I have) only changes the top speed, but the low end stays the same...and that the aftermarket installation of a speed reducer is pretty involved...I think it's gotta be done though. Wish I'd known that when I ordered the machine initially.
@@altizer_shoemakerit's not hard to install a speed reducer. The only downfall was that I had to take out my bobbin winder so it would fit properly but it's worth it! It takes about 15-30 minutes to install once you have everything you need

I'm an aspiring bootmaker, and I love videos that really guide the bootmaking process. I really appreciate seeing this
WOW, incredibly beautiful. It is always a pleasure to see good craftsmen practice their profession. You are no exception.
Nice use of the sad iron!
I love that hollow, light feel the boot has once you pull the last.
Beautiful work.
This video brings back good memories of the time I made a leather belt with my name on it in 4H camp.
Beautiful Job-Well Done! 👍
Next in the line!!❤
Awesome job and extremely well crafted 💯💯💯💯

Sublime, vraiment magnifique et du costaud a l'ancienne!!! Meme Nicksboots vous félicite!!
Fantastic!
Do y'all have a speed reducer on the sewing machine? Mine seems to have a lowest speed that's faster than yours.
Ours has a variable speed servo motor and a speed reducer. Makes it a lot easier to stitch the uppers.

may I ask what's the weight and thickness of your insole leather? they look so thick
Phenominal build.
What's the purpose for the piece of cloth covering the shank? I am always curious.
To prevent from squeaking
Мастер!
Oh i love the tight waist on those! Was that a munson last? It looks to be going really straight on toe area
Класс!
You must be using the same camera as Ivan from Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics. I recognize the clattering focus motor, or whatever that noise is.
