    excellent work! especially the uppermaking! you didn't make a toebox right? if so, i am curious what the vamp lining is for. comfort? or just more toughness maybe? And i am also curious, if that is a special inkpad for leather or so that you use for branding the upper.

    Do y'all have a speed reducer on the sewing machine? Mine seems to have a lowest speed that's faster than yours.

    • @UnsungHouse
      @UnsungHouse  Рік тому +2

      Ours has a variable speed servo motor and a speed reducer. Makes it a lot easier to stitch the uppers.

    • @altizer_shoemaker
      @altizer_shoemaker Рік тому +3

      @@UnsungHouse Ahh thanks! I just confirmed with the Campbell Randall folks that the servo motor (at least the one I have) only changes the top speed, but the low end stays the same...and that the aftermarket installation of a speed reducer is pretty involved...I think it's gotta be done though. Wish I'd known that when I ordered the machine initially.

      @@altizer_shoemakerit's not hard to install a speed reducer. The only downfall was that I had to take out my bobbin winder so it would fit properly but it's worth it! It takes about 15-30 minutes to install once you have everything you need

    You must be using the same camera as Ivan from Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics. I recognize the clattering focus motor, or whatever that noise is.
