I play your video every night and my heart fills with much love and gratitude. Sometimes tears of joy.
All I want to listen to everyday is Buddha. His words like beautiful music to my soul.
I feel important for me to share my story and will try and keep this short. . . I was adopted by my maternal grandfather in 60's. A child without knowing my roots, life felt like a mystery. I was born as a result of two young crossed lovers and bio-dad joined the service.
I reconnected to my bio parents in 2017~ bio dad is a self medicated alcoholic. Bio-mom a recovering drug addict. Met my 4 half siblings when I was 18 but we have not kept contact.
For the most part, I lived a clean sober life. I felt much of life I was facing War in the family blood and around the world.
    Bio-dad's family - from Europe in the 1800's ... They're Protestants
    Bio-mom's family - Catholics
These two religions can't tolerate each other and it's very, very sad. Not to mention my long nationality.
I feel Buddha has always been in my life ~ cleansing family karma was a big and necessary process ~ and now, I'm ready for the next level.
Thank you so much for all you do. 🎉❤ May you be in wellness. May you be in happiness and peace today and every day.
    Namo Buddhaya 🙏🪷🌸🕊️🙏

A marvelous narration that brought a tear of joy and sorrow at the same time. Most of us see the truth yet we are unable to grasp or fully understand that the root of all suffering is everything we glorify and seek in our materialistic life cycles. Pleasure and materialistic happiness has taken over the ultimate truth and eternal happiness. Thanking the amazing and wonderful narrarator Carrie Grossman. A bow to you with clasped hands in much respect. For every time this story makes someone humble enough to contemplate in end of suffering, and every time someone admire and develope respect for Lord Buddha, for every time a person feel Maithree, Karuna and Muditha, may you Carrie Grossman be blessed with abundance of Kusal that will help you attain Nirawana. Carrie, I have become a big fan of yours after listening to your beautiful voice over for "The Life of Buddha." You have an amazing voice and you made the story come alive. I'm a huge fan of Buddha (for not being a god to many, but for being a great human being) who could renunciate everything with strong will and mind. I listen to this audio once a week at least. This makes me feel so light, makes me meditate and sometimes I play this and sleep. Such a relaxing and soothing narration with a beautiful voice over. Every word in there, every sound during narration carries very high positive energy and passes it to anyone who listens to, and every time they listen to. Thanks for this beautiful contribution of yours for narrating the story of a "Real HERO" with such dedication. Not everyone can leave pleasures, not for longer times and one who could do such thing as far as I know is the one and only "Gauthama Buddha." Big applause to the music team too and very big thanks to you :)

We are Blessed to see these programmes with English translations. Buddha was born in India to Hindu parents. Theres a similarly between the two, Hinduism and Buddhism. Buddha was a philosopher, he was intelligent and had an abundance of common sense. His ability to look deep within to understand who we are and ultimately find the truth about life - identity of who we are and what we are - the beginning of suffering caused by birth and rebirth, expressed in these videos beautifully. 🙏

On a certain level, we have Buddha in our brain, the neurochemicals that show up in flow: so dopamine, norepinephrine, anandamide, endorphins, and serotonin. If you were to try to cocktail the street drug version of that, right, you're trying to blend like heroin and speed and coke and acid and weed- and point is, you can't do it. It turns out the Buddha can cocktail all of 'em at once, which is why people will prefer flow to almost any experience on Earth. It's our favorite experience. It's the most addictive experience on Earth. Why? 'Cause it cocktails five or six of the largest pleasure drugs the Buddha can produce. We're all capable of so much more than we know. That is a commonality across the board. And one of the big reasons is we're all hardwired for flow, and flow is a massive amplification of what's possible for ourselves.

@@garykline9234 Thank you for your kind words. You can find the story here: www.sacred-texts.com/bud/lob/index.htm. I adapted it and condensed the first part to create this version - but the whole thing is beautiful and so inspiring to read. I hope you enjoy it.
