Guru Stotram
The Guru Stotram is a 14-verse excerpt from a sacred text known as the Guru Gita (which comes from a larger scripture called the Skanda Purana). This beautiful chant is a prayer to the Guru-the one who takes us from darkness to light.
The word "guru" has many translations. One is "remover of darkness"; another is “heavy” - because a guru is "heavy" with wisdom. And while a guru may take the form of a body, it is far more than that. Ultimately, the guru is a principle. It's the mystery of existence-the awareness that looks out through our eyes. It's the silent presence in our heart, and the inner light that calls us home.

Thy Will Be Done

“Thy Will Be Done” is a phrase from The Lord’s Prayer. To me, it means: “May the will of my heart be done, not the will of my head.” This song also includes the beautiful Prayer of Saint Francis and the Sanskrit mantra Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Rama-victory to Ram, the indweller of my heart. I wrote this musical prayer of surrender after spending time in Assisi, Italy-one of my favorite places, a...

"The Life of Buddha" is a beautiful and timeless book written by Andre Ferdinand Herold. Originally published in French in 1922, this magical tale tells the story of Prince Siddhartha who renounced a life of luxury and set out on a journey to attain enlightenment. The story draws directly from ancient texts (Buddhacarita, Lalitavistara, and the Jataka Tales), and it offers an inspiring and inti...

It is about one of many Buddhas.
If one wants to explore the universe beginning and end all explained
I play your video every night and my heart fills with much love and gratitude. Sometimes tears of joy. All I want to listen to everyday is Buddha. His words like beautiful music to my soul. I feel important for me to share my story and will try and keep this short. . . I was adopted by my maternal grandfather in 60's. A child without knowing my roots, life felt like a mystery. I was born as a result of two young crossed lovers and bio-dad joined the service. I reconnected to my bio parents in 2017~ bio dad is a self medicated alcoholic. Bio-mom a recovering drug addict. Met my 4 half siblings when I was 18 but we have not kept contact. For the most part, I lived a clean sober life. I felt much of life I was facing War in the family blood and around the world. Bio-dad's family - from Europe in the 1800's ... They're Protestants Bio-mom's family - Catholics These two religions can't tolerate each other and it's very, very sad. Not to mention my long nationality. I feel Buddha has always been in my life ~ cleansing family karma was a big and necessary process ~ and now, I'm ready for the next level. Thank you so much for all you do. 🎉❤ May you be in wellness. May you be in happiness and peace today and every day. Namo Buddhaya 🙏🪷🌸🕊️🙏

Where can I read the text because my English is not good🙂
If i pushed a nuclear healing code you know button to launch healing nukes and to heal millions of people. Most people would judge me as a monster for doing that. You probably will judge me as a monster and never watch my stuff again. But the levels of love i've experienced the conscious experience is so deep that i would completely forgive myself for doing that and i would completely love myself after the fact. Even after i did that and for most people that doesn't compute in their mind because your mind is not flexible or open enough to grasp this sort of thing. Because they really believe that no that that's so evil how could you do... And then you forgive yourself... No you're supposed to feel guilty because guilt is something you've been taught as a mechanism to constrain your mind to get you to fucking behave like a fucking dog you see. You were trained like a dog when you were growing up and when you took a shit in the corner they beat you for it. Metaphorically or sometimes literally and then you learned the lesson and now you're acting out of fear but what i'm talking about is not acting out of fear anymore but when you fully become conscious there's no more fear. There's only love, there's truth. If i ever do something really bad in my life. I'm at the stage where it's almost a little bit dangerous to say this. Where i won't even feel guilty about it. Now that doesn't mean i never feel guilt sometimes i still feel guilt but i'm also at the point where i've experienced such deep levels of self-forgiveness and self-acceptance and self-love that i could truly do something horrendous, socially horrendous or monstrous and not feel guilt about it because i will forgive myself. And for many people that's scary. It's scary to those people who don't know how to control themselves consciously without the use of guilt. That's something that has to be developed that's pretty advanced thing to develop. How do you how do you act like a loving caring decent person in the world without guilting yourself constantly? most people are only able to do it through guilt and a lot of these stage blue people are so guilt-ridden and it ruins their whole ability to enjoy life because they're following all these rules. It's not coming from a genuine intrinsic motivation. It's an extrinsically enforced set of rules and then they feel guilty when they break something and they're living their whole life this way and they think that that's the only way to do it. It's not the only way to do it. In fact it's a trap. You gotta transcend that.
On a certain level, we have Buddha in our brain, the neurochemicals that show up in flow: so dopamine, norepinephrine, anandamide, endorphins, and serotonin. If you were to try to cocktail the street drug version of that, right, you're trying to blend like heroin and speed and coke and acid and weed- and point is, you can't do it. It turns out the Buddha can cocktail all of 'em at once, which is why people will prefer flow to almost any experience on Earth. It's our favorite experience. It's the most addictive experience on Earth. Why? 'Cause it cocktails five or six of the largest pleasure drugs the Buddha can produce. We're all capable of so much more than we know. That is a commonality across the board. And one of the big reasons is we're all hardwired for flow, and flow is a massive amplification of what's possible for ourselves.
Such love and light in this song. Thank you for your gift of hope.💗
Beautifully narrated. Thank you, Carrie.
