Luc Longley and Will Perdue had NO answer for Shaq, but Rodman defended young prime Shaq as well as ANYONE ever could. His energy, rebounding, defensive intensity, almost genius level B-ball IQ, ability to get under the opposing star big man's skin etc. was just about perfect for what the 2nd 3-peat Bulls needed going forward. 95 jordan was still a great player but he wasnt the same guy that he was in 93, he couldnt close out games in the 4th quarter consistiently anymore cause of fatigue, lost some of his athleticism and his basketball instincts wherent as sharp either. I believe if he played that whole 95 season he would have done better in this matchup.
