I MUST ADMIT - I AM SHOCKED: TEX WENT TO PHIL AND TOLD HIM TO BENCH JORDAN!!!! HONESTLY....I AM STUNNED....BUT LOOKING BACK AT ALL THS, TEX WAS A TRILLION PERCENT RIGHT!
This was a closer game and series then I remembered. Like Utah, it went 6 games and was a close 6th game. However, the Utah series seemed FAR tougher and more competitive then the Portland series. I remember it seemed Chicago was in no danger of losing to Portland, whereas the second Utah series was tough, competive and a nail bighter even though I wasn’t surprised Jordan pulled it out again.
Nah, Portland was tougher, Jerome Kersey did a good job guarding Jordan! 97 & 98 Jordan was scoring his usual points in the series even when he was sick!

In the early 90's era the Portland Trailblazers were not a push over. They appeared in the 1990 NBA Finals and 1992 NBA Finals losing to the Detroit Pistons and the Chicago Bulls respectively.Michael Jordan was in a league of his own.Its hard to beat the Goat Air Jordan what a beast!!!
Drexler did all he could to stop MJ. MJ was just too damn good. Unstoppable.
@M and still better than football
@M It still cannot match the revenue from Basketball. It is most played but not most watched.
- 25 years ago today, the Bulls win their 2nd straight NBA championship.
ckendall67 yup
Looking at the bulls gameplan, Steve Kerr really indeed learned from them.
Terry Porter looked 45 when he was in his 20's
adelmans face at the end
The Bulls bench won this game
The game where Hansen saved the day .
didn't they come back out to the court to celebrate with the fans
Yes they did. They came back to the court.

Nah this Portland series was tough as hell. I fell like Phoenix was the best team they faced

@oliversmith8445 Interesting insights! I'll check out the video. I noticed a number of non-existent calls against Drexler for Jordan.
That was a very very good Chicago Bulls team. 67-15 and overcame plenty of adversity. I still think 1996 was better and deeper.
1992 Bulls were 15-7 in the playoffs, 1996 Bulls were 15-3
This Portland team in today's NBA would have won 65 games at least if they were in the East.
Dave H more than that
This Portland team would crush any team in the league today
They won 63 games in 1991 but fell short mysteriously against Magics Lakers
@@inigobantok1579 but that team would either crush or go the distance with any team in today's west or east conference
Not even close. Portland had 2 3s made this game out of 7 attempts. They a would get smoked by this era of shooters in the nba. 1-5 can shoot.
The stadium was loud
All Chicago again Scottie is the truth
I had a crush on the PIP!
"The Chicago Bulls have won the NBA championship for the second straight season!"

So much security
Phil Jackson's comment about Portland self-destructing back in Game 1 aged perfectly.
Portland was robbed. That was one of the best teams to not win a title.
I believe the trophy presentation took place in the locker room until 94 that year was the first year it was on the court i believe except for 01
2023 EIBL Finals: Poso Knights (2) - (4) Maluku Liberty (1992 Limited Edition)
Crazy how players used to have to leave the court for the locker room after winning the championship due to fans rushing the court.
Mostly of 2nd half jordan was out because of ballhog and the team was down..tex winter was right on that move😂😂😂
I didnt realize Jordan iced this game with last 4 points including 2 FTs. Thats 2x game 6s in the Finals that he won the series.
I bet that montage at the end was awesome.
8:46 Blazers coach reaction = how the hell did we lose that one! (my reaction: cannot do much about it)

Jordan in those last couple minutes! Hanging 8 ft jumper, the baseline lay, the 2 made FTs... Unstoppable!
Watching this while cleaning my room. Best memories EVER!

'90, '91, 92 Blazer's were as good or better than the Pistons, Lakers & Bulls, just couldn't quite put it together in the end
MJ the goat by far

We are the champions queen
Portland had no business being in the finals let alone being in the Bulls Stadium.
Why?Were the Trailblazers not a 1 seed in the 1992 NBA playoffs on the western conference side?
