🏆DR. JORGE VALDES is “ THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS” this is A REAL OLD SCHOOL 🇨🇺 CUBAN WITH REAL PRINCIPLES, it has been an honor to listen 2 this gentleman, I’ve learned several perceptions from a genius
My parents and older siblings are from Cuba and arrived in 1965. My parents taught my family the same values and we are all successful in this country.
I have been following Jorge for a while and believe people like him are great teachers since they have rebuilt themselves after recovering from major challenges in life.
I remember listening to this guy on Vlad and he had the most gangster quote I’ve ever heard, he said- “I hated traveling with luggage so I would just buy a house wherever I went and leave clothes there” 🤣😂 that’s when you know you’re filthy rich
I also heard of a guy that every 2 years got a new top of the line cadillac, this before LEASING was a thing, never even visited the dealership. It is convienence for very busy people.
Tell me why in the Hispanic world the Cuban people stand out! Even those I have known personally Were so exceptional! More than any people I’ve ever known, except maybe Jews!!!
The should do Netflix short series, there is just so many incredible experiences to cover. It would be a shame for this man to die with so much wisdom he can leave to this world.
One of the best more informative videos I've seen on this channel. You did a wonderful job conducting the interview and I hope you have him back on your channel! God bless that man!!
I think that that type of upbringing is a immigrants mentality. My sister and I were 6 months old and 5 years old when we came to the states from Europe. I was born in Poland in 1977 and my sister was born in Germany in 1982. My father escaped Poland when I was 1.5 years old by sneaking onto a ship that was bound for Hamburg,Germany. My mom or anyone around us had no idea where my dad was for almost 6 months. Poland at the time was behind the Russian Curtain meaning that it was controlled by the communist. My moms father was the police chief in the town that we lived in and it was a issue for my mother and I to get out of Poland on even vacation. But after some strings being pulled and favors called in we got permission to go to Berlin “on vacation “ but we had round trip tickets and it was very difficult getting out of the country at that time. We obviously didn’t return to Poland and stayed in Germany for about 2 years. Coming here and growing up differently than my friends did I can relate to his story.

2 pronged attack. Stop treating drug addicts as criminals and start treating it as a medical issue. Compulsory rehabilitation and counseling , education etc to help them sort their issues out. Drug dealers death penalty. I think this could seriously reduce crime and the drug problem.
He took the stand against Willie Falcone and Sal Magluta though. Depending on how you look at what he said, he wasn't exactly the most stand up refuse to tell the Government type of guy despite him saying he refused to talk while being tortured in Nicaragua.
@@nikobellic7586 You have to declare that you won't tell on people in order for it to count? What kind of shit is that. I just find it ironic that he sat there talking about how he stood up and got tortured because he was so loyal but he cooperated and took the stand against Sal Magluta and Willie Falcone. He's not quite as loyal as he's made out to be and it deserves to be mentioned. Anyone who claims honesty and loyalty should be called out when something proves otherwise. That or don't mention being solid, being tortured and all of that when in the end you clearly weren't as loyal as you made yourself out to be.

Jorge wasn’t the reason anyone of the muchachos did time.
Jorge Valdes delivers an awesome interview and you have to admire his message. I like how he explained that the most powerful and richer than rich were not even mentioned. That's deep and I think a lot of us that watched all of the series and documentaries realized in this interview we only got a taste of what was really going down. Good interview Patrick and Jorge Valdes thanks for keeping it 100. I love what your father said about people receiving government benefits are broke vs people who don't have any money. Love it!
Damn it Pat I'm convinced that there will never be another influencer with even the slightest chance of ever being able to interview and cover such a broad range of characters and personalities whose values, beliefs, heritages, and cultures stretch from one end of the spectrum to the other. Which is something that I appreciate and I know the world is grateful for it too because in each one of those stories there's a part of us that's being expressed too. Great interview, admirable gentleman, el Mr Gorge Valdez.
The most Amazing part of his story is after it all he gave his life to Christ and doing his part to spread the word by building churches and helping those who is prison to learn about God while still being a full time dad to his kids. All around a great story with an awesome ending.
Wow, amazing story. Loved every minute of it. His drive to succeed and the love for his family is inspirational. Hope he and his family continues to be blessed 🙏
This is by far one of the best interviews and one of the most interesting people I have ever seen. I have rarely seen a man so smart, strong, resilient and charismatic. He lost everything several times and stood up again and made everything back in different situations and businesses. Absolutely impressive. Also, I love the way he dresses.
Amazing interview! Talk about living dangerously… it’s amazing he lived to tell the story… decent job Patrick. One small issue which has to do with respect. Patrick, you’re Arabic or Iranian correct? In that part of the world, respect has a totally different meaning. Writing and pulling your email or paying your bills in the midst of the interview is so disrespectful! Several times the gentleman stop speaking or paused to allow you to finish writing whatever you were so busy writing. You can’t do that man and you of all people should know that Patrick. I’ve seen u do that before but this guy, I could tell he was bothered by it. You have to respect your guest more than that Patrick. I love your show but MAN, that habit of yours is so disrespectful it’s turning me off of following you. Hope you don’t take this the wrong way & take it as feedback to help you improve… other than that, job well done sir…
He said it. In the late 70's and early 80' cocaine was not looked at the same way as modern days. It genuinely was for the upper crust of society, It was an enhancement to take an already great life up a few notches. It was almost socially acceptable among wealthy circles of people. And the money the dealers generated was ungodly and stirred the economy in south florida in a good way. It was an era in American history that will never be repeated and most people do not have any idea or cannot even fathom the type of luxury and extravagance people were living then!
And the addiction, health issues, destroyed lives, and crime it spurred? Miami is the 1980’s was one of the murder capitals of the world. And this piece of shit contributed to it.
Wow what a story! This gentleman hit on so many points that do not get lost with time. His ability to be honest with himself to make the changes and the moves to create a good, solid life for himself and his family I believe is a trait not often seen from a person that has lived his kind of life. This interview was better than Cocaine Cowboys. Great job PBD team!

2 pronged attack.
Stop treating drug addicts as criminals and start treating it as a medical issue.
Compulsory rehabilitation and counseling , education etc to help them sort their issues out.
Drug dealers death penalty.
I think this could seriously reduce crime and the drug problem.
i admire this man every time he speak about his mother what a beautiful smile in his face...i love it
This guy seems more genuine and honest then most Italian mobsters pat interviews
He took the stand against Willie Falcone and Sal Magluta though. Depending on how you look at what he said, he wasn't exactly the most stand up refuse to tell the Government type of guy despite him saying he refused to talk while being tortured in Nicaragua.
@@Cardb33 did he ever say he WASN'T gonna cooperate against them?
@@nikobellic7586 You have to declare that you won't tell on people in order for it to count? What kind of shit is that. I just find it ironic that he sat there talking about how he stood up and got tortured because he was so loyal but he cooperated and took the stand against Sal Magluta and Willie Falcone. He's not quite as loyal as he's made out to be and it deserves to be mentioned. Anyone who claims honesty and loyalty should be called out when something proves otherwise. That or don't mention being solid, being tortured and all of that when in the end you clearly weren't as loyal as you made yourself out to be.
@@Cardb33 yup. I believe it was Sal who after being released didn't listen to Valdes in trying to cop a deal with the feds. Sal even got cocky and said if I can fμck em once I can do it again. Watch the Netflix series. And then he was re arrested 4 being cocky and reckless. There's no honor among thieves anyways and omerta the old code of honor has been dead for over 40yrs. The only ones still talking about snitch this and that are Nickel bag selling street corner nobodies. Omerta worked for the Italians b4 feds got serious. If you're dumb enough to lead a life of reckless crime murder violence and get caught for it then you have 2 options, to be placed under the jail as you should, or cooperate like Sammy the bull and hundreds of others have done so as well. All of sudden bums telling the world they didn't snitch? Or did they not snitch cause the feds didn't ask them to snitch? The Sinaloa cartel has put away hundreds/thousands of rivals working in tandem with the DEA and government. Is this snitching? Who tf is preaching no snitching? Bums. That's who. Chain snatching jive ass maricone motherfμkkers thats who. That's a line from Carlitos way btw.
@@Cardb33 you must not know the story so I can’t blame you for ignorance. Sals defense team called Jorge up to testify bc Jorge would say he stopped dealing with Sal and Willy by 81 which would back up Sal and willys defense in saying they USED TO BE drug dealers but the statue of limitations had passed and were now legitimate. Jorge wasn’t the reason anyone of the muchachos did time.
We need to hear this now more than ever... fantastically inspiring! Many thanks.
Amazing interview, amazing life, thank you for sharing. Dr. Jorge Valdez is the kind of men worth knowing.
Stories like this is why I listen to your channel. Thank you.
Love it!
Yeah i liked that part also. Goes to show how important mentality really is.
Love his energy! What a fascinating interview! Have him on again!
Wow!! What a freaking interview. Most underrated UA-cam channel on here. Keep up the amazing content guys 👏
“They rather be an hour early than a minute late” speaking of the greatest generation. Dam this man dropping dimes
Ton of great lessons, thanks for doing this interview Pat
The most Amazing part of his story is after it all he gave his life to Christ and doing his part to spread the word by building churches and helping those who is prison to learn about God while still being a full time dad to his kids. All around a great story with an awesome ending.
What an unbelievable life Jorge has had, its surreal.
Funny how they get religion AFTER they get rich. Gotta love selective morality.
@@gregoryunderwood4121 I know what you're saying. But it's not our place to judge my man.

Wow, amazing story. Loved every minute of it. His drive to succeed and the love for his family is inspirational. Hope he and his family continues to be blessed 🙏
By far the best interview on this interesting man. Dr. Valdez.
I love how much life Jorge has in him
Definitely one of the best interviews on valuetainement! 👌
Agree
This is by far one of the best interviews and one of the most interesting people I have ever seen. I have rarely seen a man so smart, strong, resilient and charismatic. He lost everything several times and stood up again and made everything back in different situations and businesses. Absolutely impressive. Also, I love the way he dresses.
Your comment was everything I would like to have said, yet couldn't. You nailed it! 👍🙂
@@michaeloutsidethebox3391 Thanks, man! Have a nice day. 🙂
Agreed!
I was thinking the same thing.
Agree
Hes taking notes as a good imterviewer does
@@GriseldaBSF410 If he explained what he is doing to his guest and his audience, it would make a world of a difference on perception
This guy is the truth! Hope this interview gets a million views!
One of the best interviewers in the business, always enjoy your clips - thanks & Happy New Year :)
One of the best interviews I've ever watched in my life
*Modern man is not the man who goes off to discover himself, his secrets, and his hidden truth; he is a man who tries to invest himself in something beneficial for the future.*

Absolutely Amazing Man!
Humans aren't built like this no more.

Awesome interview, I will never get tired of hearing his story🐱
This has been my favorite interview by far
💯 better then Glad TV interview! David asked the best questions and actually listens and lets his guest talk
Man. This whole story, this man, his entire life, is incredible. Obviously, not always in a positive way. But, his entire life story, the numbers he's throwing around...simply mind boggling. I am very glad that he straightened his life out and is still here to spread his wisdom.
what a freaking guy is doing 23:34 signing a paper during the interview? Pat is so insecure and showy. Painful to see him during the show, thank God the guest talks almost non-stop
Can't stand Patrick but he has on the MOST INTERESTING guests. Writing notes and typing on his laptop while the guest is speaking is just plain RUDE.
@@fmore2 it isn't rude. He may be writing down points he wants to bring up later so that he doesn't forget and doesn't interupt the guest while the guest is still speaking
What about preparing that tea before the interview Pat? Awesome interview anyway 👌
I know right?? Either he’s fucking with his phone, now he’s preparing tea.
Maybe during Pat’s next interview, we can watch him assemble an entertainment system. 🤷🏽
Thank you for this interview. God bless you, your family and team Patrick🙏🏽
U need Jorge on the podcast! I could listen to him for hours on end, what a life he lived.
He a crooke
Incredible man, incredible story.
A man has to know when enough is enough if greed drives you enough will never be enough. Thank you Jorge for that comment. God has a way to use his soldiers as messengers and you delivered a message today.
Watched the whole thing ! Best interview
entertaining life story. would have been curious about more details how 1 part leads to another but then again Patrick sure knew not to interject much cause this was going to be long .... over 90 min. great job and great guest
Great interview. Was engaged every second of it and honestly learned a lot from this gentleman.
He is a criminal ! Who killed people ! Don't glorify them
When there was a stigma against using welfare. When America was great.
Cubans have Capitalism in their DNA
when was that?
@@thanohermes5509 expanded welfare happened in 1960's, so before that.
And during the expansion of the welfare state was the destruction of black families as they were making EXTREME progress for 60 years.

I could have listened to 8 more hours. Absolutely amazing!!
Dr. Valdes is amazing . If he chooses to do something , he does that thing .

Holy Shit! that man just talked confidently, consistently, interestingly, and rivetingly for 1.5hrs, Absolutely amazing.
And by the way Patrick I think just as much of you, you are Fantastic!
so very interesting... and such mixed emotions throughout the interview! How do I like someone so much that clearly lived outside the law for so many years? Incredible.
I like how Pat styles his hair according to the type of guest. Today all gel’d up and eating caviar! Great interview!

Jorge is a good speaker. I seen many of his interviews in the past, but this interview didn't flow to good. Jorge was all over the place. But still entertaining.
It was the interviewer, poor Jorge kept up trying to get his attention and interest
