A wonderful explanation. In traditional lime plastering if you use oak or chestnut lathing that has be split the job will be extremely good and the render will stick beautifuly to it.
We are making guitar and we are using bamboo brasing.bamboo is flixible durable has straigther grain much easier to plaining.try it you'll be surprised to the result .more volume and cleaner tone pls do some video of it using bamboo v brasing .more power to you r vlog
Nice video. Could you show how how to use a parring chisel to split a big ass piece of ash into one of 2 necks? I dont have a machine saw to saw it i to rectangle it is a 6 inch circumference long straight piece of ash that needs splitting down thr middle into 2 pieces if possible. Or maybe chisel it into a rectangle shape? Thanks
