when you look at it SCP-173 won't be able to move but if the light turns off you can't see it thus it can move even if you have your eyes open ( also you have to blink from time to time so keep a distance from it )
the reason why the container and ntf "disappeared" is because it actually teleported you really far away to the actual game. the intro is it's own little area
I hope your channel gets more subscribers soon. I've never seen anyone try to do this kind of stuff before, mainly they just take 5 minutes explaining what they're going to do so they can expand the video, but you just get straight to the point of the experiment.
That's mainly because smaller accounts will make videos for entertainment and quality purposes, while bigger accounts may do that, but keep in mind they may also be looking for a source of income, and having longer videos makes it easier to place ads on the video.

If 173 is spotted by a MTF unit, they shift their focus to it, because it's more dangerous, than having a Class-D freely running around. Their AI is bad, but i wouldn't say they suck.
Only 173. When the MTF spawn they will hunt down you and SCP-173 and contain it in the mobile chamber. They then go to Light containment to put it in it's cell and Franklin will announce it's containment over the intercom.
I think the stuff dissapears because during the blackout you teleport from the intro area to the actual game area (means the doors and stuff in the cutscene dont have to go anywhere and you cant go back to the cells once the game's started)

Also, from personal experience, i've not encountered 173, once it was taken to it's containment chamber.

When the game used to be on the old engine, I got into the files for the scp models, and I managed to make 173 become a giant that went through the ceiling, and another time I managed to reduce the scale so that he was no taller than a nerf dart. Imagine walking around and you see a speck sized specimen standing there and suddenly your neck gets snapped

It was explained in an official SCP post i think. SCP 173 can detect You're doing that and will start shaking, and kill you even if you maintain line of sight because it sees that as "cheating". Peanut does not like cheaters
my theory is that you get teleported to another area, if you noclip in the intro sequence you can see that the area your supposed to go to is blocked off so the mtf and box are still there maybe even with scp 173 but you just get teleported
This is what I think happened The ntf guard was assigned to move scp 173 to a new chamber. But they were doing a test with scp 173 so the ntf tried to interfere with the test but the power went out for a second and everyone was killed by scp 173.
