What’s hilarious to me is that the 6.0 is soo “unreliable” that you’ve thrown all this power at it which is some serious power and not your typical” exhaust, intake, and tuner =. Race truck” type shit. But 550-600 hp on stock value train, internals, , head bolts and of all things to fail is the tranfer case. To me after that rant lol, is that people hate to much on the 6.0 and constantly disproves the haters. Coming from a 7.3 guy.
Same for the well built 6.4s
7.3 owner here too, grew up bulletproofing the 6.0s with my dad. Definitely animals that can last a damn long time. They are solid 400k mile motors done right before the valve train starts to wear.
Not to mention the 5r110 or whatever the transmission is called is a monster. Holds tons of power.
Had several 6.0 for work trucks they our the rx7 of trucks you love em one day and hate em the next.
Time for a transfer case brace!

One thing i got on my duramax is dual front shocks. You could do that or one big shock. Keeps more pressure pushed down on the axle which would also help along with the trac bars

factory map sensor only goes to like 30 something psi u need to check out the blessed performance/in the shop map sensor check it out you'll see what i mean to get the full boost from your combo

If you add an intercooler and it creates more boost then you're creating more restriction not more power. An intercooler that will increase power will actually show lower boost number
Depends on where the MAP sensor is. If it's before the intercooler then yeah you're just reading the restriction. But if it's after then you're reading the pressure at the intake plenum which is the pressure actually going into the cylinders. I'm not sure about the 6.0, but on both the 7.3 and 6.7 it reads boost downstream from the CAC.

I believe as long as your cooling system is in check the head bolts aren’t a problem because it’s heat that causes them to stretch on my 6.0 the oil and coolant temps never see 200 degrees and I live in the Arizona desert
