Dorgeshunn bank is gorgeous. I did a bunch of bank standing skilling there. I liked the few people I'd see and the random stuff going on. Gorgeous design. So unique to the game.
Skilling at random off the path banks are cool change of scenery and the random person every now n then are much more interesting like wtf are you doing out here hahaha

I just finished a game for the Mort med diary and the game started w 4 people total, neither of us on our team knew what was going on, and most everyone that joined didn’t move at all lol. trouble brewing isnt completely dead content, its just a bad minigame. I know a couple of people who do it specifically to get the stuff and brew mature ale through the farming skill to sell
Thieving the Dorgeshuun chests is kinda useful for ironmen, with thieving xp and some early gear/equipment/runes. Especially for PvP world HCIM, the teleport spheres are a great early 1 click teleport option, and you can get them in an obscure area at the top of a building in a random thieving chest where you are very unlikely to get scouted
Yup. Not an ironman, but as someone who bought a membership for the first time less than a year ago, looting the one chest at the top of Oldak's house and hopping worlds was a quick way to level thieving from 52 to 65 (at which point I could start doing 1-click Summer Sq'irks). Plus it gave me useful runes, in addition to basic talismans, goblin wire and lightbulbs (that I could sell on the GE), teleport orbs to quickly redeem those long and curved bones, and unpowered orbs to either sell or save for when my magic and crafting levels were high enough to charge elemental orbs and craft staves. The main benefit? I didn't have to sit through the headache of blackjacking.

I actually used ranging mixes on my pure for a couple of cmb levels. At 59cmb I was tribridding with Zammy flames but needed to pot up to TB using a divine pot, but inventory was tight in that build so the ranging mix helped heal off the self damage.
Some more dead contents I thought of: - Miscellania dungeon - Selling furs to the npcs(like the silk guy from ardy, but with furs) - The Zanaris market area that cost a diamond to enter - Selling cabbages to Lunderwin in Zanaris market - Gnomeball - Fight arena - Brewing beers and stuff

I wish Dorgeshkaan was more popular. Like, they made this entire train travel system from Keldagrim (A city that is also pretty dead save for the Blast Furnace) to Dorgeshkaan and there is absolutely no reason to use it.
They should do to duel arena what they are currently doing to rat pits: Limit the bets you can make to a very low number. That way it'll still be a fun activity for those who enjoy staking, but people won't have their entire life destroyed losing their entire bank there.
Prayer mixes are more useful than they get credit. If you want to bring 4 prayer pots on a boss trip on the rest sharks, try bringing 8 prayer mixes. You get a bit more healing out of the slot than a shark. I think it's equivalent to a manta ray slot and is very nice for budget mains or ironman GWD and fight caves
The slayer partner bug was when you sent a request to someone on your friends list or someone with private on and aid request on and when they received the partner request it would completely stop your characters current actions and people would request spam to people doing stuff such as the inferno and other things making it impossible to do. To be honest you'd have to be mental to leave request aid on anyways seeing as that feature outside of slayer had almost 0 use.
The Jade dragon bolts (e) would be really useful if the bolt proc happened more often. I used them in castle wars just to try and get the effect to happen cause I'd never seen what it actually did. Someone on the other team let me just stand and fire at them until it did happen and took about 30 fired bolts for it to even do the stun.
Never got why A) They removed Rat Pits in Rs3 but not OS, and B) Why they didn't remove the quest with it. It was kinda neat to do it when it first came out, because all you could get at lower levels were cats and dogs, and at the extreme with summonings release was monkeys and cameleons, and it was nice to have quests showing you how to interact with pets. With all the various pets that we have now, it seems redundant to have that quest other than practice for the couple of desert quests that have you use your cat.

Few of these clue scroll tasks like Dorgeshuun and werewolf agility course
Slayer Partner is disabled... i loved it made a bunch of friends back in the day
I know I’m late to the party on this one, but I def went to the goblin area to get my early frog leather armor pieces for early ranged training on my ironman
Played off and on for about 15 years without knowing about the Wise Old Man tasks lol
Barb firemaking looked useful at first, if jagex does an ultimate ironman gielenor apocalypse esque League. Like all the cities are reduced to a minimum rebuilding scenario, banks are localized and smaller, etc. Would make it decent strat I think.
The prayer mixes are actually pretty decent if you do the math on it.
4 prayer mixes are better than 2 prayer pots and two sharks
Literally everybody that pks with a crossbow uses opal bolts lol, they belong in the previous slide tbh
They're still bronze bolts... How are they useful?
number 5 . goblin cave wire is a decent way to make quick cash
Dorgeshuun actually has decent thieving experience when looting the Rich Chests. 650xp per chest, 2 of them located right next to each other and then just world hop. I was doing it instead of pyramid plunder for a while
he seriously makes fun of comments like these in this video. Why even comment this?
imo the one thing about rat pits that makes it not dead is the port sarim tp. i use it all the time
Barb potions I use for poison cause they heal as well. Barb bow fire.. click log first then bow for left click with bow in inv
I to "accidentally" enter the wc guild dungeon, yep nothing there. Rat pits are dead it 5k limit came out when Jagex removed trading and the wildy, but the quest gives useful teles (I use Port Sarim all the time).
3 tick barblore have a massive and huge use for high lvl ironman community its a lot of 0 time herb exp doing barbariam mixes
blast furnace is also in dorgeshuun and u can buy the bolt pouch. but other than that its pretty dead
I know the question was pretty much intended for engagement. But no, its "discontinued" content dead content = useless.
i only use #5 for the long and curved bones like you said, i honestly dont know what that place is
Tried using the Wise Old Man tasks for herblore in trailblazer league, ended up getting soft locked, but it was good xp for a while
can't wait till PvP is on this list. & I did werewolf course till 99 agility :P
Dead content doesn't include removed content, it's existing content that no one uses anymore.
I'm disheartened to learn this is removed. I want it.
Savage Goon squad checking in
I hope they add slayer partners back for group ironman
and i legit buy dragon topaz bolts on the ge because they sometimes go for cheaper than the amethys bolts
The cave goblin city the below par medium range player hub that was basically replaced by menaphos in rs3 and most of the new content in OSRS. Also ranging guild THE MOST usless place...and not really even back then the ranging guild was still useless the best things it gives is greenhide something the champions guild a low level f2p has. Also I agree its dead content its so dead it was deleted something similar happened to Rat pits in RS3. Knew of most of them but not the ents.
Slayer partners qualifies as KILLED content lol
