@John Smith Thats akin to saying people who are "disciplined" will never enjoy life. Trying to perfect something for a greater future gain doesn't make the present not fun and the future not great, although for some the present may not be, and they're doing it solely for future gains.

Runecrafting is way easy to get exp in, I would recommend using it on Agility instead, Runecrafting can be done AFK, Agility requires more attention and super boring.

Most hard diaries require ~ 70s in their stats, so should be obtainable at the end of the mid-game. Also, monkey madness can be done in the late early game. I found getting 60 attack more difficult than that quest.
Great account builder honestly is following the Optimal Questing Guide. You'll train a variety of skills to meet the goals and you'll get tons of levels as well.

This is the best tip. Just take the game at your own pace for your own enjoyment. Whether that be speeding to endgame or just casually doing what you want to do.
Just finished barrows gloves on my iron and it honestly crept up on me just playing the game, I realized I only needed 2 quests and 2 cooking levels so I got it knocked out in 6 hours.
Yeah this is true. I used to play back in the original RS game. I remember RS2 coming out. I've also never reached a 99 or finished all quests, except all F2P quests back in RS2. This game takes a long time and you may go through a couple accounts altogether simply because you forgot the email you used to use. Enjoy the process and it'll be much better for you. Get a few 70s + and then work towards a 99. That's what I'm doing at least. I did take some time away from OSRS but I'm back at it again. Some people blast through skills and quests and now are completely burnt out and not much to come back for. For me, when a Diablo 4 comes out I'll be back after a month or so playing OSRS.
Proselyte is great and you will likely use it more than any single other armor set in the entire game overall. I reccomend getting your hands on the bonecrusher from the Hard Mortaniya Diary and turning it into a bonecrusher necklace as soon as possible. It will make your life so much easier and save you so much gp in the long run.
Tip that really saved me: get your slayer up! From level 70 it will be incredibly profitable but even throughout levelling it you will make absolute bank! Makes it very easy to maintain membership :)
Tip: Grind out your combat stats (and Prayer!) until you hit combat level 100. For me this was high 70s to 80 in each stat. You'll be SO happy once you do, because not only do you unlock some great weapons/armor in the 70s you will also unlock Duradel for Slayer tasks, and the Veteran boat for Pest Control, which will make getting your Void armor set so much quicker. Bonus tip: Get full void set, it's super useful! Even the normal set is a big boost in some training/money making methods!
I’ve seen a lot of people on here ripping of people for being in efficient so ima say this, I’m part of the clan non toxic rs and people there don’t mind if you in efficient, actually most people have maxed Accts and have thousands of hours where they just dident train any xp cause they where in cc or just doing less efficient methods cause they where more fun. Just cause you enjoy max efficiency dosent mean everyone dose and respecting the fact people have different play styles and different ways of playing osrs is what makes this game unique. Enjoy you grinds and don’t just hate on people for being in efficient, advise them there’s a better method but let them enjoy that if that’s what they like too do. Tip: If you can afford to pay for membership don't buy bonds, bonds come into the game from someone else purchasing the item and selling it for in game gold, it is a legal microtransaction and the more accounts reliant on bonds for membership the higher the price and the more in-game gold players get for irl money. Additionally, if you're spending 120m a year on gold in the mid game by the time you get to end game in year 1, 2, or 3 of playing (dependant on playtime) you're robbing yourself of BIS end game items to do end game content. Only use bonds for membership if you cannot afford membership IRL or you are in the end game and can make 2-5m an hour. Even then... if you can make 2m an hour and it takes you 5 hours to achieve 2 bonds for a months membership, that is equal to 2 US dollars and 25 cents an hour in real life. If you make more than that IRL then please just pay for membership and save yourself the heart ache.
Yeah I was gonna say bonds don't really seem worth it, they're okay to gift to f2p noobs I suppose but other than that not really. I just recently got into the game and my mate said I should be buying bonds for membership which doesn't make sense to me because even now while I'm broke I can afford the membership, and later on when I have a better job I'll be able to afford it even more, so farming for bonds doesn't make any sense lol
My tip is just enjoy the game. If you are tired of grinding the same skill or boss do somthing enjoyable. If you like playing you will become a late game player and still wanna play the game.
Seriously I think it took barely an hour. Got super lucky and had some people help me knock it out. I wanna say it only took 45 minutes but I feel like I’m lying. Regardless it felt like no time at all.
Just got mine this weekend. It took me at most, 2, maybe 3 hours max. I never played BA (effectively) as a kid, and there were plenty of players new to BA, so we were all just figuring it out as we went. I thought it was gonna be a grind, like Pest Control.
my tip would be to not let anyone decide for you what you should have achieved/obtained at any point of your account progression. Make sure your goals align with what YOU want to achieve and how YOU enjoy playing the game.
I’ve just started editing my first osrs video. This is a sign! I’m going to quit drugs and finally get clean so I can afford that inferno subscription!
For tip 2: Black Mask is as good as slayer helm and can be imbued too. Only exceptions being monsters that require a specific helmet slot protection like nosepeg for aberrant spectres.
A fantastic mid game tip would be to go for a quest cape, you will unlock most if not all of your upcoming late game content, and it will get most of your skills up into the 60's/70's
Yeah that’s what I did and it’s been very efficient. Everything will be faster in the game. Achievement diaries are also very useful and to use the exp from them on skills like runecrafting
Not being scared of the wilderness is also a good tip, rev caves are one of the most profitable methods ever like maybe top 4-6 most profitable method, you make about 2mil an hour and you'll have a chance to get valuables that are 7mil-24 mil
So for the slayer helmet if you are an Ironman you got to complete a couple of quest to kill cave horrors to get the black mask which are rum deal and cabin fever I believe
Great guide! I would say that maybe bonds don't fit in essential goals. Paying if you can afford for membership isn't a bad thing, as it supports further runescape development.
The best mid game goal in my opinion is just level. It doesn't matter about learning the best methods or anything yet unless you're going for 99s, honestly don't stress about that just grind however you find the most fun. My aim was just get every skill to around 75-80. By that point the skills start slowing down alot if you don't use the best methods but you've also unlocked most of the decent mid game money makers for every skill by that level. I'm currently on mining 76 then I just need agility and 1-2 other ones and all my skills are 80, it's taken me many months cause I've been doing them all afk but I've had fun doing it which is all that matters
Tip #5 - Get the Lumbridge Hard Diary done. The stat requirements aren't that high, and it gives you a great ring for your farm runs plus some extra tears of guthix exp. Also I disagree with Tip #10, play the game for fun - if you add bonds into the grind, you're making the game a job, and a real job will earn you the price of membership in less time than playing OSRS will.
Dude the defender was my first mid game goal when I played years ago I never went for defenders even though everyone said to same with R4D barrow gloves I had the torso but that was it. So when I started up again a while back I decided to get it all when I got. To mid game
honestly i kinda recommend buying membership instead of saving up for bonds if you can afford it before you get to higher levels, helps alot not to have to spend that gold on bonds everytime
I buy a membership per year and that saves you over 100m gold per year. Think of it like a brand new game. Nowadays they’re 60-70 dollars and sometimes you only get not even a years worth of gameplay out of it. I’ll gladly just spend the money and not have to worry about bonds for literally a full year.
My tip : Don't focus so much on money making! While having membership is really nice and unlocks lots of content, it shouldn't shift your focus from enjoying the game. Personally I'd recommend paying the 11$ for the first month if it's possible because in the month of playing your account should be able to sustain membership through skilling or slayer. Great videos and I'm hoping for more content like this!
Not a tip but really can't stress enough about getting a fighter torso. So many people try their hardest to avoid it but BA really isn't that bad and the pay off is huge
Barbarian assault is fun. I avoided it like the plague til 99 slay and 2k total and then decided to do it for elite diary. I made 10m from players thankful for the help and taught a bunch of newbies each role. It's actually some of the most wholesome content in OSRS. It's like baby raids.
I put it off for years after my first attempt, toxic people ended my first game and kicked me because I didn't understand how to call. I was typing everything instead. Eventually i went back after a few years of not playing osrs and i found barbarian assault entertaining. The people your playing with matter
Also don’t worry to much about dailies unless that is what you’re into but coming from gatcha games i could never get into for the same reason i don’t want to have forced gameplay the only I’d say is vital early is battle staves
@@gatorbait9385 believe me, after you get a bond after grinding f2p, the only thing is your mind is finding a reliable and steady money source to keep that bond, because you cant do with your old methods in 14 days.
IMO 1) fire cape / Jad 2) imbued god cape by doing Mage Arena 2 3) Hard diary in Canafis to get more loot in Barrows minigame 4) First Barrows minigame run, wearing magic Gear plus the imbued god cape 5) Barrows gloves by doing RFC quest
Tip: Reach 72 slayer to unlock skeletal wyverns to fund membership bonds with an afk method. Even better at 75 for gargoyles or 77 for brutal black dragons.
That's what I am working for. I'm at 68 right now. I can't afford to pay month over month. But as soon as I get to 72, I can pay for mem with only like a week's worth of work spread out over 3-4 weeks 💦👁️
on the nightmare zone thing, i would like to present the other ( and imo better ) option. Soul wars zeal. even at a low combat level. getting zeal isnt hard, and imbuing there is much faster than nightmarezone on average. not only that, but once you got the imbues there, the spoils of war crates give some incredibly good resources ( food, gems for crafting, expensive runes, dragon weapons, seeds ).
I haven't done Soul Wars before, but NMZ is SUPER quick. You can get the 600k pts for ring imbues in 30-45 minutes even as a mid tier account without all the high end quests complete for max points.
get used to minigames and learn which ones give good rewards. there are easy strategies for all of them. temporos and wintertodt can be so easy you can no brain it and watch some shows and they give tons of useful resources RSN Grandmajesus
Burthorpe is pronounced Burr (as in a metal splinter) Thor (as in god of thunder) p (as in the sound made in the penguin advert "p-p-p-pick up a penguin") I used to live in a place called Bagthorpe so thats how I know.
Tip: find a money making method that works for you to fund your training, for mid game there are tons of them that make 600k-1m per hour. just find one that works for you.
get 99 att 1 str, the max efficiency meta for dragon defenders :DDDD but seriously, it would kinda work. Att skillcape perk and for warriors guild you need either 99 att or 99 str or 130 combined. :P
Beat way to make money in midgame for a bond is zombie pirates in wildy, easy 100k in less than 5 mins, only need protect from magic prayer. Bring one bis melee weapon u have available and a burning amulet and ur all set!.
Eh, some of these tips are really bad advice for some people. Let me explain. In terms of playing efficiently, you should really FOCUS on things that progress your account as fast as possible. Training slayer at level 70 combat and without max gear is just a waste of your time. We only have so much time in the day to focus on Runescape, so things that CAN be AFK trained SHOULD be. You should not have to put any focus into getting to base 90 combat in every style, AFK that stuff at sand crabs and then NMZ and interact once every 15 minutes or so. Worry about slayer when you have base 90 combat in every style and near max gear (imbues, best armor, best weapons, and gp to pots/ammo). You're going to be looking at probably a couple hundred mil bank before I would even recommend training slayer (besides getting reqs for quests). You'll thank yourself when you don't have to see 10k slayer xp/hr on some tasks... Same thing with 99s - focusing on 99s early-mid game is just a huge waste of time unless you need it for GP or something. AFK combat, focus on GP, focus on untradeable unlocks (like minigame rewards, skilling outfits, etc), and focus on questing and diaries. You'll progress so much faster this way. I am nearing leaving the mid game after one month of playing. But some of these tips are so detrimental to your progress at this level, like maintaining bonds??? Just pay for membership for a few months to a year so you can make like 3m+ an hour and have a few hundred mil bank, then you can start thinking about buying bonds if you want. Most of all, focus on having fun. If you have the most fun just chopping wood, then go for that 99 if you want, whether you're early or late game. But as I've grown up I learned I have the most fun when I feel like I'm progressing fast and wasting less time. Cheers!

Yeah that’s what I did and it’s been very efficient. Everything will be faster in the game. Achievement diaries are also very useful and to use the exp from them on skills like runecrafting
I'm working towards barrows gloves on my elementary school account from 4th grade. What a world it is
Tip: grind the nightmare zone right after getting the fire cape. Fastest and most AFK training in the game.
Ive done a ton of quests so i suck at nmz. 70 combats :(
For afk combat training, sand/ammonite crab are the best
Tip: Find a rival so you can compete on getting skill or certain pvm achievement
RSN: LeMetalMan
Kaoz is now my go to for OSRS over the weeks I gained a lot of info
My mid tip is to finish all easy and medium diaries... also falador and morytania hard diaries are a most
RSN: Luisfeer
Not being scared of the wilderness is also a good tip, rev caves are one of the most profitable methods ever like maybe top 4-6 most profitable method, you make about 2mil an hour and you'll have a chance to get valuables that are 7mil-24 mil
Osrs has given me trust issues. Not sure if you're a nice guy or just baiting me.
@@marque_iii lmao
That's a good strategy. Lure newbs into rev caves
Another goal that you should set is getting yourself a full set of elite void, as it is VERY useful in PVMing!
Tears of Guthix!! Free XP weekly to your lowest skill!!!!!! :D
Quest are a must if u wanna even think about maxing quest cape might as well come first
if I wasn't on ssdi which only pays me $525 a month id definitely show some support but all i can do is watch and sub, great content btw
Tip #5 - Get the Lumbridge Hard Diary done. The stat requirements aren't that high, and it gives you a great ring for your farm runs plus some extra tears of guthix exp.
Also I disagree with Tip #10, play the game for fun - if you add bonds into the grind, you're making the game a job, and a real job will earn you the price of membership in less time than playing OSRS will.
awesome vid!
I dont really log in this acc but i just wanted to say i really like your videos and your voice
OSRS is the most rewarding game of all time for the amount of time invested. Prove me wrong? ;)
Idk if this is consided mid game, but full graceful is up there.
Dude the defender was my first mid game goal when I played years ago I never went for defenders even though everyone said to same with R4D barrow gloves I had the torso but that was it. So when I started up again a while back I decided to get it all when I got. To mid game
U should make a quick fight caves guide. A brief synopsis or strat would be great.
Go in, run around, hide behind rock outcroppings and shoot with a ranged weapon. When you get to jad click protect from range or protect from magic.
Mid GAme Tip: Always do the skills that you dislike the most, once you get those skills to a high level. Everything else will be so much easier!
honestly i kinda recommend buying membership instead of saving up for bonds if you can afford it before you get to higher levels, helps alot not to have to spend that gold on bonds everytime
The giant mole has a pretty good gp per hour probably like 1- 2 mill an hour just with the mole skins and claws
RSN: MDNika
My tip : Don't focus so much on money making! While having membership is really nice and unlocks lots of content, it shouldn't shift your focus from enjoying the game. Personally I'd recommend paying the 11$ for the first month if it's possible because in the month of playing your account should be able to sustain membership through skilling or slayer. Great videos and I'm hoping for more content like this!
TIP: best mid tier goal at the moment seems to be SOTE
I’m at the mid game and I think getting a base of 50 in all stats are important especially for questing
Tip: get slayer up for cash. Then create another account to pk on. Get into pking, it’s so fun
Also don’t worry to much about dailies unless that is what you’re into but coming from gatcha games i could never get into for the same reason i don’t want to have forced gameplay the only I’d say is vital early is battle staves
Tip: you can win a bond from this video if you leave a good enough tip !!!
Biggest mid level tip for me, is complete Fairy Tale 2 for the fairy ring tele's
You only have to start the quest to access the rings. This should be done in the first few days of the account. Not mid level
@@gatorbait9385 believe me, after you get a bond after grinding f2p, the only thing is your mind is finding a reliable and steady money source to keep that bond, because you cant do with your old methods in 14 days.
Finally got barrows gloves after 5 years
Congrats my man!
gzzz
TIP: Barrows is good easy money if you learn the basics and you dont need alot of money to start. RSN Stefano M1

wtf you even beat me...
@@kaozbender opened YT and saw he uploaded 17 seconds ago 😅
Tip, morytania hard diary unlocks 50% rune drops in barrows for some nice profit!
Rsn, Hverger
Tip : optimal quest guide
IMO 1) fire cape / Jad
2) imbued god cape by doing Mage Arena 2
3) Hard diary in Canafis to get more loot in Barrows minigame
4) First Barrows minigame run, wearing magic Gear plus the imbued god cape
5) Barrows gloves by doing RFC quest
Get all the standalone quests done. Almost every mainline story quest requests them
Good video idea!
Today I learned I am no longer a mid game player and just have poor self image 👀🤣
SOUL WARS can be used to imbue aswell!
TIP: a good mid game item that people don’t give enough credit to is the crystal bow. Finish roving elves and get yourself a bow!
RSN: Azolium2
Especially after blowpipe nerf
Mid lvl Tip: join a clan, it will help you with mid-high lvl bossing and is more fun!
idk how to find one
Knghefalump tip get 99 cooking for no burn money making plus quick 99 you'll feel like a boss to grind the rest of your mid lvls into high lvls
TIP: DON'T READ UA-cam comments when you are pvm'ing or doing dangerous content, otherwise you'll die just I like I did now reading these comments.
Getting fighter torso w randoms really is not that bad if you learn the roles, i pulled an all nighter and got it in like 8 hours lol
amazing vid
TIP: do tears of guthix quest early so you can get that free weekly rc experience 😁
I did tears, xp random events, and tears from 48-77 lol
@@anthonymasciarella3896 I got lunar spell book and never even touched that altar cause of tears 😂
dragon slay 2
:newdas
Ahuh.. teezeetock jad... You heard him folks... This is the guy you get your facts from...
Good job
You seem annoyed
My number one tip is to get the void range doesn’t need a lot of requirements but will need time put in to get it. Get ASAP
Rsn- the big foxx
Void range/melee imo mainly for vork
love the content
I recomend not going for useless 99 capes. Prayer bonus/defense bonuses are not worth going for if you have fire cape.
Tip : don't worry too much about your cash stack early game, spend your gp on skilling and gear
get used to minigames and learn which ones give good rewards. there are easy strategies for all of them. temporos and wintertodt can be so easy you can no brain it and watch some shows and they give tons of useful resources
RSN Grandmajesus
Getting the fighter torso is so hard now Bc not many ppl play barb assault /:
There's most likely a clan chat out there thats willing to help / contains people who are looking for parties as well
Burthorpe is pronounced
Burr (as in a metal splinter)
Thor (as in god of thunder)
p (as in the sound made in the penguin advert "p-p-p-pick up a penguin")
I used to live in a place called Bagthorpe so thats how I know.
Um where is the herb run guide? I've been looking for an efficient guide forever...
I have one that's still relevant. You have to scroll for a bit tho haha
@@KaozOSRS I'll look for it! Thx man
song of the elves imo
We need a Prossy recolor kit or something... seeing level 100+ characters in that basic-ass white armor just doesn't vibe.
Tip buy bonds
Beat way to make money in midgame for a bond is zombie pirates in wildy, easy 100k in less than 5 mins, only need protect from magic prayer. Bring one bis melee weapon u have available and a burning amulet and ur all set!.
Mid lev tip: keep 45 def and use void/fighter torso until at least 80 str att range magic and 70+ prayer. My personal opinion
Cheers!
"Bad advice" you're coping- Stopped reading your thesis there. I bet you're not even maxed/QPC/Diary cape etc. lol B for effort tho
@@KaozOSRS I don't blame you for not reading the comment, it was really long and wasn't directed toward you. I sad "SOME of these tips are really bad advice for SOME people" by the way. You know, because the videos are for the audience's best interest.

Get some good fashionscape and practice bank standing until you get a discount on a girlfriend.
slayer helm requires a porcine of interest completed. i think
Not required but it enables you to add the goggles to your helm.
Buying bonds for membership holds you back so much. If you can't afford membership then you shouldn't be playing osrs, you're wasting your valuable time
Elite void is technically a mid tier unlock and very useful if strapped for cash as I usually am. Gothdragon21
