We are going to have to compare collections one day. Maybe on Uncensored?

Excellent picks up Mr.Akins. I love that run of X-Men, that was a great price for the lot. Plenty of 1st appearances. I have been posting all my copies on Instagram starting from issue 94 every Monday for #mutantmonday. Love seeing George Perez art, he was amazing. Not only one of the best artists of all time but he was a great human. I only had one interaction with him but it will be in my memory forever. 👊🏼

George Perez is definitely on my Mount Rushmore of comic book artists. I absolutely loved his run on Teen Titans. George Perez or as I like to call him - Master of the Crowd Shot!

Solid pickups! Love the sound bite inclusions 😂. I'm on the side of that Iron Man could pass as a yellow cover. Great video! 🤘

I want to show off what is inside the book as well as what is on the outside. Thanks Dan.

Congratulations on the great progress of your '24 goals. Love all the Bronze Age goodness you showed off and Yes I think that would count as a yellow cover. Roll Tide!

Speaking of inkers, I always gave Gil Kane grief, but honestly after seeing the cover you displayed by him, I was wrong. His run on Green Lantern was where I know him from and was not happy with the art on them, now I know if must have been the inker.

Inkers can play such a pivotal role for a penciler. They can really make or break an artist.

Great books all around readers, and pick ups. Do you ever read digitally?

I have tried to read digitally and I couldn't get into it the way I do with physical copies. Guess I'm just so old school.

When you are able to sell merch, you need to have a shirt that says “let’s do it Jambo style”

Iron Man has a duality about himself. First he's a genius and his inventions are spectacular and help him get out of a lot of situations. Then he's a leader amongst the avengers and the West Coast avengers, also he foots the bill for Quin Jets, The avengers Mansion and destruction in the aftermath of battles. On the other hand he's lonely, his parents are dead. He suffers from alcoholism, he goes from riches to rags and he has many health problems. But the women love him and he keeps a good mustache so what can you say. The civil War storyline made me real sad because Captain America and Iron Man are best buds except they argue a lot. And what the marvel characters went through during the civil War really sucked. Conflict is a literary device that makes for interesting storylines but it still sucked.

Your right Steve. Tony and Steve had their disagreements before Civil War but that took it to a whole new level and I couldn't see their friendship recovering after that. I think the movies did an excellent job portraying their conflict and resolving it.
