    Lifesaver, didn't want to sacrifice a socket so welded an old wheel nut on to the cutdown spanner

    Why don't you just use a 15mm socket with a bendy extension attachment.?

    Will not work on a super 6 engine because you can not raise the block high enough also you have to to unbolt the power steering pump to get to the drivers side mount.

    That is the difficult side.

    Thanks for the time in showing how YOU did it but that's fine if you have all day to stuff around with this job. I paid a guy to put it up on his shop hoist & spend an hour of HIS time, $100.00, $50.00 a side, to do the job. On a VY Commodore,this is a shitful job & after 69 years on this planet & working on all breed of car & motorcycle as well as a complete restoration to show quality on my 1931 Ford A Model, I'll pay someone else to get their hands dirty. In other words folks, let someone else do the job that is an absolute shit. Better still,buy a VE Commodore & save the fuck around!

    • @kiivaskastylings545
      @kiivaskastylings545 Рік тому

      Timing chains were a Vz only issue due to a faulty batch of chains going into production rest is due to shitty service intervals.....the VE series 2 fucking ATE ecus however

    Why would you even have a V6 to start with? You do realise they make a V8 version

      Yeah with a whopping 30kw more power.....that's about a 3rd of the power of a Hyundai getz mate. 5ltr most underpowered gutless overrated sack of crap and you wanks wanna pay thru the nose for one. An alloytec v6 makes 5kw more 😅
