    You mentioned these dont have a mounting point for abs and brake lines which is the problem i have with a set i just recently purchased. Trying to return them,,,i have a 01 vx clubby, whats the best option at the best price?

      Hey Mate, We are a dealer for KS Racing i love them had them in my daily for years now, Pedders is also a good option and have them in some of my cars. the cheaper brands just dont have the R&D teams to get it right.

    What are some brand recommendations for a kit like this. I was about to buy the same kit for my vy but had a hunch to check youtube for a review and you didnt disappoint. Now im avoiding that stuff around for sure. Looking for a kit with a smooth ride as well as hight adjustable?
    I have HSD high pressure in the front at the moment but its way to rough for my liking. Suggestions?

      We use KSport coilovers and personally i really like them. however coilovers are always a stiffer option then just going lowered springs and shocks. it is really personal preference but i have lowered monroe shocks with king springs in one of my cars and love the ride so much, but i have ks racing coilover front and airbag rear in another one of my cars and i really love that car too. but id steer clear of coilovers that dont have shock adjustment.

    They also need to be checked occasionally, because they can vibrate loose,and if fitting to vz you need to buy vy sway bar links as vz has balljoint top and bottom and vy has threaded top and ball joint bottom

      100% mate, i get everyone back in after a week or so to check them out. with good coilovers normally no issue. this car already had loose adjusting nuts.

  • @rc70ys

    Taking into account the coilovers, wheels and all that labour and energy it would have cost the owner as much as the car itself 😂.

    • @RCSMediaDivision
      @RCSMediaDivision  6 місяців тому +1

      Compared to the normal coilovers we use, which is Ksport and pedders these ones were annoying to fit to say the least. but straight forward.

  • @stevennott6139
    @stevennott6139 6 місяців тому +1

    Ive put these type of ebay coilovers my vz ss,have been happy with the way it handles, its like its on rails, didn't use the adj rear shocks,they were so stiff they could hold up the car without springs.If the Holden nut fits the top it has to be same as the standard ones?
    You need to use the adj on back springs unless you want it to be stupid low. I am on my second front struts as the first ones started to leak after about12 months. Setting the preload and height on the front ones is crucial for a good ride

    • @RCSMediaDivision
      @RCSMediaDivision  6 місяців тому

      @RCSMediaDivision yeah had no dramas,alsothe brackets for the brakes and abs,they go on the lower mounting bolts,I just bend them a bit to suit, I didn't get the ones with brackets welded to the strut

    Where are all these lowered springs or shocks going after changing setups.. there must be a bucket load kicking around
    Surely enough to where a 2nd hand set can be had for a decent price. But I only ever find people who wanting maybe $15 less than brand new for their clapped out sprigs 👎

    Dont buy these kits. If youre a noob it wont save you money. You will need new front shock nuts and collars to make up the size difference, and you need new 3cm longer lca bolts if you wamt to ugga dugga that shit in. Its super stiff and super uncomfortable. Also the only long lasting front upper strut mounts are super pros at aroumd 300 bucks dont even bother. Just buy the bloody redull ones. At least they are half australian. They cost more and the upper strut mounts last 6 months till you but the superpro ones. It looks great, just no drivability im em.
