I live in Nashville, and I just wish Chet could have lived to see what his influence on guitar has blossomed into. Merle Travis too. Chet drew inspiration and technique from Merle, and that blossomed into the virtuoso playing and composition of Chet. Tommy Emmanuel took it up and it blossomed into the Jaw dropping guitar virtuosity he demonstrates in his concerts across the globe. In listening to this young man it is obvious that the torch is being passed again. The sheer joy of great music is obvious on his face and in every note he plays. Congratulations young man - Frano - the future of great and joyful music on guitar.

THIS kid blows the DOORS off of that "Billy Strings", who is very good, mind you, and writes his own tunes that are pretty good, BUT...... It's ALL about that Travis/Chet picking. Now how come I can't watch a single video that doesn't result in the "Billy Strings" bombardment? It's that eerie feeling like when you realize your I-phone is listening and studying everything you say, and then trying to brain wash you.....
