God bless your soul. Greetings to you our brother in Christ, from Orthodox Serbia. Try to connect more with Christ and less with this materialistic world. Materialistic people suffer, spiritual people are happy, modest and have inner peace that cannot be paid with money for it comes from our Christ!
I pasted copies of Christ ikon and Theotokos ikon onto the dashboard of my car upside down… The effect is that they are right side up in a trans lucent reflection… a great reminder to have patience and less anxiety when I’m driving.
Thank you God for leading me to this video after a lot of anxiety and pain today. I prayed for you to lead me to what i need. And you followed through immediately.
@Ohrid2023 God bless you as well. So nice to be greeted from family in places I never knew. I didn't know there was Orthodoxy in Serbia. 🥰 Greetings from the South (of North America)
Serbia os actually one of the oldest Orthodox nations in Europe. Now, unfortunately, many of the "believers" are nominal. God willing, I pray that all people come to the truth and those who are born into Christian faith, realize that they are blessed and be an examples of Christ to others.@@PawnCrownedQueen
I want to focus on my LORD, we suffer more, I have panic attacks from abuse, I don’t want to control anyone, it’s others that want to control , even what you think, say, believe, especially if you have Gospel prospective🥵the thief comes to kill steal and destroy.
God bless your soul. Greetings to you our brother in Christ, from Orthodox Serbia. Surrender yourself to our Lord Jesus and He'll write completely new and much happier chapter in your life, and His love will rescue you from any further fear or doubts. Just believe Him and believe in Him! Amin!
I'm 15 years old and ive recently come to Orthodox Christianity from Anglicanism. I'm greatly struggling with anxiety about politics, war, climate change, and, most of all, the End Times. I have insufferable anxiety about being martyred and being killed by the antichrist. I fear that my adult life will never be met with a husband, family, and a lovely life, but I will instead fall away from the faith and go to Hell. If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it. I struggle with finding people to talk to, as friends my age don't care about God. God bless, and thank you.
Wow I’m 18 and I’m going through the same thing as you are I have been a orthodox Christian for a bit now and I can honestly say I haven’t seen much but I have felt the lord Jesus strongly these past few days Elizabeth I understand completely what your going through and yes it’s very very hard to grasp at times like these but one thing I will tell you and that thing is to pray, pray to God tell him what’s on your mind be honest with not only yourself but with God;after all he is God he knows what’s on your mind before you open your mouth. I’ve been praying a lot lately and let me tell you I have seen results if you accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour and you believe in God with all that you have in you there’s nothing that can hurt you from that moment on because you are Gods child. I pray that the Father Son and Holy Spirit bless you in all that your going through God bless and fear not.☦️
Many of the “end times prophecies” came to pass, most around 70AD. Many of the end times theories and rapture theories were created by Protestants who have done a terrible job re-interpreting the scriptures, believing they were written for right now. Not the case. I highly encourage you to speak with your priest regarding the book of the apocalypse, and watch some of Jay Dyer’s content on it.
Hey Elizabeth, here's a bit of advice: tell God your fears. Get down, take a few deep breaths, tell the Lord EXACTLY what you're feeling and thinking, let it all out, have no shame because Christ our God LOVES YOU more than you could comprehend. All eternity will not be enough for us to understand the depth of Jesus' love for us! So let it all out, He can take it. He already knows, but you need to tell him so that once you have that off your chest you can start receiving His aid. Tell Him what bothers you and ask for His help, according to your own heart. Then, let it be. Do not look for supernatural signs (those are deception), do not look to see and probe just how God is helping you, just let it be. When you have your worrying thoughts, say "Jesus, please do with them as you please, I trust in you." Don't try to make the thoughts go away, just focus your mind on something else, something at hand, something useful (something for someone you love). And things will get better. But you have to trust Him! God bless you and strengthen you! With love, D
Elizabeth, I am a father of two children your age, so I will offer to you what I would say to them. First - that you have found Christ to be the center of your life at your young age is the absolute most important thing. He will never let you go, never abandon you, will guide you and protect you and love you as though you are the only person in the whole world. He will leave the 99 sheep to come and find the one, you, if you are lost. Always remember that. Second - it is a part of growing up that we begin to learn that the world is a scary place. It is OK for you to feel scared. It is normal, natural, and understandable! But when our fears begin to take over and overwhelm us, we must do things to make them diminish. Remaining close to God in prayer, spending time in the company of others, and having someone you trust to talk to will all help you. I would guess that your parents are there for you, or maybe a favorite aunt or uncle or a teacher at school, perhaps? Share your feelings with an adult you trust and they will help you. Third, and last. In addition to prayer, the one thing that will help us the most in life, particularly when we are scared and anxious, is to live in the Present Moment. We can worry so much about the future that we miss the immediate blessings happening right now. We can miss an opportunity to enjoy the blessings and happiness of today, with people whose company we enjoy, given freely to us every morning by the grace of God. Got himself asks us to stay in the present - remember in the Gospel how He instruct us never to look behind us at what was; and not to worry about tomorrow. He wants us to live here in the present. So, each morning, make sure that you have some time on your schedule to spend in the company of people you love. Texting and emailing and even a phone call can deceive us- there is no replacement for being in the physical presence of another human. God created us to be together, so make sure each and every day you spend meaningful time with family or friends. Also, every day, spend time working on something you love. Maybe it’s a hobby, art, a sport or something physical, building or making something, and so on. God gives us unique talents and wants us to enjoy them! Try your hand in numerous projects and interests- He will help you! He wants you to be happy! Remember what the Catholic Saint Irenaeus said: “ The glory of God is in someone who is fully alive.” I will say a special prayer for you today that you will find new and good friends, and that you will be able to enjoy each day for the many blessings they contain, and that your anxiety and fears will go away, and I have no doubt that they will. God Bless you Elizabeth, and don't be afraid.
God Bless you and welcome! It was the best decision I made in my life when I converted. I have a beautiful church family and much more to give my children, husband and everyone.

I find it hard to follow with the crying of the children in the background. I think it would be proper to take them outside until they calm down out of respect for the priest and the people present. Though what I think might not be important. Parents all over the world seem to have become unable to be respectful just because they have a child or two.
Great message-thank you Fr.
Thank you ...I needed to hear this.
Became a catechumen last year, after being an atheist my entire life. Also, I am your 1,000th subscriber.
God bless you Fr Paul.
Amen. Wonderfully said!
Needed this thank you Father!

Brilliant. Thanks for that
I don't get it. Can you explain?

Always wonderful hearing the young ones in the congregation! Signs of a growing parish.
This was so useful for me and came just when I needed it. Thank you!
Wonderful father thank you
God bless you dear father Paul. God bless your soul. Greetings to you and all of you our brothers and sisters there, in Christ, from Orthodox Serbia.

Very good message for inner peace
What about reading the bible in sermons
Thank you so much for this message. I am new to orthodoxy. What modern father would you recommend I start reading first?
