Misfits was produced in London and features a lot of talented British actors and actresses, such as Lauren Socha, Robert Sheehan, Iwan Rheon
to name a few, filled with plenty of humor, this show is about a group of people, originally 6, who have been sentenced to community service.
After a strange electric storm hits the local area, they begin to develop supernatural powers.
So, TODAY on another EXCITING show, with the assistance of our voice over artiste Liza, we'll take you back to 2009, when MISFITS first Premiered and we'll show you how some of the actors from this show have changed over the years, We'll reveal their REAL AGE AND NAMES.

yess @Claudia Campos, their chemistry was top notch... I think replacing some main cast was like trying to fix something that wasn't broken, which eventually ruined the show

@@ivanangeli actually alicia is known, she is in good doctor. and nathan is also known, at least to me. i went on to watch more of his stuff because he was my fav and i dont like how he wasnt on there anymore

when simon went back in time to save alisha is the last point of good plot development and entertainment imo. their character arc was really good and it was awesome to see just how far back into the series that went.
the first 3 seasons was so good. The last 2 literally a FLOP

I loved that show but now I only watch up until they start dropping main characters. And it's frustrating. You want to know more, you want to see their story through!
I watched the first season a few years ago and recently watched the rest of the series. A first I thought it doesn't get worse than losing nathan but as each main character left I was upset but even more upset by the fact that I couldn't stop watching, I had to see how things end. At some point the original cast was gone and that just broke my heart, really loved the show :(

I agree that it's crap they replaced the characters, but they didn't drop them without explaining what happened to them. Every character's exit is explained in the show. Anyway, Antonia is still just as beautiful as she was in 2009

Misfits right until Nathan left is honestly the best show ever. After then was still good until the last season. If they took more time to explain what really happened it would have been fine. Still a amazing show

In the moment, the character changes were hard to ignore, but rewatching the newer cast years later, they actually were quite good. I think if you switched out the original cast and the replacements, we'd have had the same complaints.

the problem was the fact the cast changed at all. they literally killed off all the characters viewers actually cared about. if someone watched the pilot and the finale, they wouldn't see any similarity. the show should've ended after the milk episode when the of 5 ended their community service. the season 2 finale was cheap and everyone selling their powers was cheap, out of character, and just a ploy to write nathan off the show. and there's no point having the show at all if the WHOLE casts changed. every time i re-watch i stop at the season 2 episode, because it's the best closure of the characters we care about. ik this was long lol but i needed to rant
@amyzlife I can't speak for all of them, but just going off of memory: Nathan left the show to pursue Hollywood, and Kelly had some allegation (racism maybe?) that ended her career. I never heard anything about the others, but I wouldn't be surprised if many of them left for other gigs rather than the showrunners foolishly ejecting them.
I get your point, but creatively, they may not have been given a choice if everyone quit.

@amyzlife I dunno, like I said 2 years ago, in a vacuum, the later series were enjoyable, even if they didn't live up to the first 2. First time through it though, it was definitely a shock to the system.

I found it hard to adjust to the cast changes, particularly the loss of Nathan. However, watching all of it again in lockdown, I enjoyed the later series a lot more. It still had plenty of mileage.
Same. I watched this show as a teenager but stopped after Nathan left. Years later I rewatched Misfits and now I even prefer the later seasons.
Antonia thomas aged really well. I cant tell any difference.

Absolutely agree, once all the original characters were fazed out it lost it's original charm. Once the new characters were there and the old ones were gone I didn't finish the series. I will go back to watch it all eventually but the original characters kept me interested, had an amazing dynamic and chemistry and it was fun to watch.

Also, I didn't like when they changed the powers, I wish they kept the original ones as well. It made the stakes less high knowing you could just swap out for a new one like you were shopping for a new pair of shoes.

I disagree. I think it was great regardless of the actor change up. Isn't that what community service and jobs is like, people come and go. This is still one of my top 5 favorite shows.
Yeah people come and go but replacing them was never the problem, the problem was that they were replacing them so fast without any logical reasoning behind it. For example "Nathan is a magician now and went to Las Vegas" and "Kelly went to go work with kids in Africa" were both weak writing. They just left and that was it. Atleast the other main three got explanations to their deaths, which were still pretty bad imo but at least they wrote them in properly.
Well said, those explanations were weak and didn't make any much sense, for me the beginning of the end for the show was when they lost Nathan 😔

@@__-eo9nu It's been A LOT of years since I started the show. I watched all the original cast members leave and a tiny bit of the new cast before stopping at that time. So I don't remember much but I don't ever remember Kelly mentioning she liked children enough to go "to Africa to work with them." And Nathan never expressed liking magic enough to go to Vegas to be a magician. I just can't🤣They could have at least done 1 final episode or cameo before leaving where they said goodbye or something. For Nathan at least since Kelly absolutely couldn't.

I remember watching this show when I was 11, I was so sad when Nathan died for the first time and I ended up crying! Then I found out he was immortal and it was all ok again. Until he left. God I was actually a mess.

It would be amazing for the whole old cast to get together from first series and do a final series because season five was biggest let down to such a great series , the four horseman was dead 🤣 Nathan and joe would be some insane energy

Rudy was a good character and could have worked with with Nathan character but make Rudy a little less crazy

My friend recently put me onto this show and after season three, I decided to look into why Nathan, Simon, Alisha, and Kelly left.
So, Robert Sheehan said that he felt he had done all he could with Nathan and that was why he had left. Iwan Rheon and Antonia Thomas wanted to persue other endeavors and most shockingly, Lauren Socha was arrested for aggravated assault and she wasn't invited back to the show. But I do agree with the fact that Nathan and Kelly's explanation for leaving were a bit lack-luster. I wouldn't have minded if they had written in deaths for... well just Kelly I guess since Nathan is immortal but still.
I've watched only the first episode of Season 4 so far but even watching that far I can tell that it won't be the same as the first three seasons. I still think that Misfits is an amazing show though, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone
Also, Joseph Gilgun as Rudy was not at all a bad replacement for Nathan. In fact, I'd argue he was a more perverted, weird version of Nathan which I liked.
Nathan sold his immortality though.

The OG cast was 💯. Then as they started dying off I got fed up. Couldn't grow to love Jess or Abby. Rudy was a good replacement for Nathan as the funny, young, immature screw up. Didn't see a point to Jess or Abby though.

Lauren into Kelly WTF happened there ?
Season 3,4 and 5 never happened they're not canon and that terrible Christmas episode never happened. The real ending for Misfits is season 2 episode 6 where everyone was alive,happy community service was over and that's it happey ending. Simon married Alisha,and the rest of the gang stayed close that's it.
Season 1 was great, season 2 was hilarious, season 3 was....just not as good, in my opinion. Nathan's replacement was good but season 3 just didn't seemed to be as great, loved the series as a whole, though.

Rewatched the series for the 2nd time and I wanted to give season 4 & 5 a chance but just couldn’t get into it 🥱 it kinda bored me lowkey 😂 it wasn’t the same after Nathan left but having the rest of the original cast during season 3 was still incredible! The last 2 seasons they were just trying too hard smh
I know a lot of people say Nathan was the best person in the show but I'm sorry I'm giving it to Rudy, Joseph had to play 4 Different people in the show and compare to Robert Joseph is a way better actor, hence why you don't hear from Robert now except in B movies or straight to dvd. 😎😎😎 Change my mind I dare you. 👍
