Just got mine a few days ago .. LOVING it ! Super musical and not just for bleepbloop , I make pretty "normal" house and hip hop and it has already fit into a few tracks. It can get very freaky but can also sound really "nice" . Also does an excellent fat (phat) round sub bass. Can confirm that it is fun on a bun. Good tutorial, thanks.
Would be cool to see a demo of that thing firing on all cylinders. sure a run down of knobs is cool but i want to see what it's capable of when it's all put together and making music
Question! I’m dipping my toes into semi-modular/modular and buying myself a piece of kit. Between 0-Coast and Softpop, I prefer a lot of the sounds on the Softpop, but I was wondering if you can patch drum sounds out of the SP2 the way you can with 0-Coast. Would love to be able to create my own kicks, snares, etc
Great demo. My only suggestion is to normalize the voiceover and the direct audio. I had this turned up to hear you speak, and pretty sure I just woke up everyone in the house :P
@@PerfectCircuit good, I'm not a synth kid but I know what most of the functions on an analogue synth are. This demo had me loosing the will to live. I know I'm not alone in saying a few less words, spoke with less haste and a few more examples of what I'm sure are excellent unique features/patches. I may not bother to engage with the next demo vid. Keep up the good work with the gear.

This guy is adorable. The machine and the host.
Respect for the proper attention to the Orb!

You guys really cut this one for speed. It’s a bit breathless. I recommend a more relaxed pacing.
I once knew a synth that was original and bore a price that was justified in every white key press. Then I cheated on her with a seven strung guitar.
