It also makes me wonder how that works today, when so many people recording have no singing voices as all…just auto tune and what sounds like either sing-song schoolyard chanting or just vocal burn mumbling.
Thanks for uploading, Matty. These syndicated 80's radio shows were often played on weekends. Good exposure for the featured artists, but not usually a lot of new information. It is interesting that she was not familiar with "Power of Love" prior to Atlantic pitching it to her. It had already been recorded by Jennifer Rush and Air Supply, both releasing it as a single.
