- The American pop vocalist Laura Branigan presented a live concert at the XXIX Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar held at the amphitheater Quinta Vergara in Viña del Mar, Chile from Feb. 17 to 22, 1988. Laura offered two concerts. This was her first at the fifth night (Sunday, Feb. 21). The second show was the next day during the last night of the festival (Monday, Feb. 22). She received a Silver Torch for her magnificent and exciting performances. Enjoy this fascinating Branigan experience on video!.

Gloria is a song that Umberto Tozzi (Italy) sings as well as Te Amo.
He sang those songs at the same festival in Viña del Mar in Chile in 1980.

Desde q era niño un tio m platicaba d una Laura branigan pero antes no avia internet.. asi q ya d grande la busque y fue amor a primera vista jeje ya q era bellisima o lo q le sigue! Despues escuche como cantan los angeles en la tierra y woooow quede mas impactado aun d esta mujer..! @@scotty2896 Wow! This is truly an incredible and very cool story! 😀 What an honor and memory that must be looking back now! 🙏 I listen to her and watch her videos often as part of my wee hours "UA-cam Time Machine" getaways back to better and more innocent times, in the 80s.
Her face and voice is instant nostalgia back to a much better time of my life. And during the days she often gets much louder play on my speakers. My mom who I lost several years ago liked her and my dad does too.

@@bobbymissthe80s31 I met her in March 1987 in Va Beach VA. After a short "sound check" concert for the new to be later released "Touch" album . A DJ friend of mine that worked at a local pop music station gave me tickets to go see her and he reserved the only table there for me, It was right at the stage. I took a few pics of her on stage and coming off. I was lucky enough to get out of the back door and to her limo for an autograph. I asked her for a pic of us outside the car and she said "No". I was walking away happy that I got her autograph when I heard her yell "Hey", I turned around and she said "Come get in the car". So I did. We talked for a long while. We had the chauffer take our pic together in the car. That's my profile pic on here. I got her phone number and it turned into a life long friendship. I really miss her. Laurie was quick witted, very soft speaking in real life, smart, and shy at times. She had a great sense of humor and would play tricks on you. She got me a few times. She was always a classy and perfect lady. Every pic or video I see of her with the earrings on makes me feel good that she loved them enough to wear. I hope she thought of me anytime she put them on. Laurie and I were friends. I have CDs, posters, and a few other things she sent to me or bought and gave me when we were out. Laurie really was a down to earth and sweet person. She never acted above anyone. She wasn't one to try to get attention but if someone recognized her, she'd talk with them, sign an autograph or let them take a pic. She was classy and such an approachable lady. Laurie will always be in my heart.
