- Sonic Blast, not to be confused with Sonic 3D Blast for the Sega Genesis and Sega Saturn, was the final Sonic platformer to be released for the Sega Game Gear and Sega Master System (the later only in Brazil). Stuff We Play, what, Sonic Leapster? I watched another YT review of that, and it seems at least _some_ of the early Leapsters have this rubbery plastic grip which degrades into a nasty sticky goo over time. You may want to take this into account when tracking one down!
Ooh, I finally know my answer! That werehog game. Whatever it was called. It wasn't _terrible,_ just really mediocre.
i suddenly remembered this game when i was remembering me playing the sonic mega collection on ps2
The reason why Tails isn't in Sonic Blast is because according to the American manual for Tails Adventure, Tails went his own separate ways from Sonic after the events of Sonic Triple Trouble. Hence, the events of Sonic Blast take place around the same time as Tails Adventure.

I had the plug n' play as a kid, great memories... Amazing what nostalgia will do.

According to Wikipedia the development staff at Aspect who made the previous games such as Triple Trouble didn't work on it, so I guess that's why there was the sudden dip in quality.
I personally like this game
It’s not a masterpiece or anything but I think it’s fun the graphics are impressive for the game gear though they look a bit off and not that great but not terrible to me
The music is pretty good in my opinion
The only thing I really dislike in this game is blue marine zone but other then that I enjoyed it
But that’s just my opinion and I understand why people dislike the game
I've always had vague memories of this game, but it took forever to find it. Until I did, I always thought it was some obscure flash game or something, which would've explained why I remembered it looking so weird. But no, the reason it took so long to find it was because I was looking in the wrong place. It's an official game.
…Still better than Sonic 4's visuals, though.

Since I learned that TecToy made a version of Street Fighter 2 for the Master System infinitely better than the Capcom version for Game Boy and a version of Duke Nukem 3D for Mega Drive I knew how amazing this company is.
TecToy even release the Master System version of Battlemaniacs that had everything to be canceled and released it to Master System, that's incredible.
I remember this being a lot better than it turned out to be. Oof.
Also, for some odd reason, my husband played all of Sonic Labyrinth and beat it. He doesn't even like Sonic. ...Maybe that's what it takes to enjoy that game?

Sonic Labirynth was awesome, as a labyrinth game. Why did they putted Sonic in it though?
I heard an argument that it'd be much better if Sonic was replaced with a non-Sonic character. I want to see that done and try it myself

Labyrinth isn't what I'd call "good", but it's certainly not the worst game in the series
Stuff We Play One of the worst. Blast and GBA Port, though are MUCH worse.
It's a guilty pleasure for me tbh. It sucks but I love it.
Best thing about it are the special stages

The first time I ever played this game was the emulated release in Sonic Mega Collection.
And yeah, this game is the worst one of all the 8-bit Sonic platformers.
As a kid I thought it was cool. The music was catchy. But now...its meh.
That's okay. I definitely can think of a few games like that for myself

Sonic 3d blast: a very werid,terrible sonic game that was the first to be 3d but did it terrible and feels werid to control sometimes. Also confusing sometimes
