It worked for me as well for my Vivo X60 Pro ( which is neither a water proof nor a water resistant, despite being the flagship phone of Vivo). Only thing which can go wrong doing while rice bowl trick is, rice normally contains lot of dust, this dust can go inside the phone and may damage the interanal parts..
Guys, lets not be quite. Please complain in consumer forum whoever has faced such issues. In Australia, Samsung was fined around 125 Crores for the same issue.
No one talks about this for some reason. I used my A52 in pool and everywhere. I washed it many times in a month. But then i broke my screen and they repaired it and said the ip rating would still be there but now there's no Ip rating anymore. Water is leaking in it even with splash of water.
Agree Samsung as brand is good but their service in my personal experience is pathetic and I am being kind with my assessment here Glad that the age old trick worked for you and didn't have to shell a decent amount for no real fault of yours Regarding IP68, I have a friend who like us is a Samsung customer, to show how good the IP68 is to our office colleagues he would just turn on the tap and literally wash the phone with water and no damage was done, he used Note series , my guess is with the FE series the quality of the hardware isn't anywhere as good as the S or Note series and maybe that is reason why FE is slightly cheaper then regular S or Note series.
I completely agree with you! I was getting good experience from service and product side so far right untill this event. Even I used to wash my Galaxy S8 at times 😂 without any issues. Now i lost trust in Samsung as a brand. Surely i will explore Apple or some chinese brands (low cost )next time for sure!
@@ReviewingIndian Apple would be a good switch but slightly costlier affair, heard it has good customer service For me buying a Chinese brand is entirely out of question, so i am stuck with Samsung until we have a better Indian or non Chinese brand comes up with a better product .
