We were in Las Lajas in July, loved it!! We ate at the Las Lajas Beach Resort, it was very good!! Was a stormy night so got to watch quite the lightning storm over the water!! Highly recommend!!

You can live in the mountains where you don't need an air conditioner then do a day trip to Las Lajas once in a while

@@PanamaRelocationTours I was there last November : my wife ( Significant other ) wants to stay in Chorrera because her daughter lives there !!! But Chorrera with all my respect is ugly - nothing to see or to enjoy in Chorrera - then the traffic to Panamà City is terrible. !!!!!

day time temps at the coast in Panama are 90 degrees (+/- 5) The temp drops about 10 degrees after the sun goes down.

There are rarely any rentals there. The best way to find rentals or houses for sale is to walk or drive up and down the streets. Things there are rarely listed online

Thanks for the video. Question re the beach: I have heard/read the undertows in the ocean in the area are quite bad, and some of the beaches are dangerous for swimming in that regard. Is that the case for Las lajas? Or not so? Appreciate any comments re ocean swimming in the area
There is a beach west of David that has bad rip tides. Las Lajas is no the same.
At Playa Las Lajas waves can be big sometimes, but I have never experienced bad rip. It is safe to swim and if you like bodysurfing is one of the best places in Panamá. In the summer (January to April) the water is quieter and the waves a lot smaller. Once you pass the wave braking point you swim like in a pool :)
What about security? Is that a problem or concern?
not a problem and no concern in Las Lajas beach or in most of Panama!
