The marching through with purpose, eliminating every enemy with relative ease, thefantastic but not sshowy coin strategy and quick weapon switching is fantastic. And seeing you confidently exit, the blood and viscera of your enemies staining every surface... Beautiful
you've also got moments like in my 1-3 video where i completely fail to hit a stationary target with a shotgun twice lmao but yeah watching ultrakill vids is fun cause everybodys got their own kinda style usually
@@EpicTkoWko yeah but your mistakes make it all the better. V1 is the ultimate killing machine even to the point of kicking the ass of the so-called “superior model” when the chance arises. People can absolutely play like V1 and it’s cool as hell, but your mistakes make it feel more real. If you’ll allow me to Go The Hell Off for a second, V1 bests the superior model because he’s hardy as hell. From what I gathered he’s faulty in his programming and has developed a sort of personality. He has become slightly closer to being human, however slightly. Furthermore, for all his hardiness he is running on weaker hardware. He can steal upgrades and gain more weapons but fundamentally he was built weaker, even as he makes himself stronger in mind and body. What all this amounts to is that seeing human mistakes in the fighting makes it feel less like some Ultra Gamer™️ and more like V1 itself marching in and wrecking shop
It's not too bad once you get used to it Also btw the Maurice at the start can be easily instakilled with a twice overcharged pump shotgun and 1 extra shot to save time
As soon as “Glory” starting playing on this level, I knew in that moment that this game is an absolute modern classic. All the best video games have a banger OST and Ultrakill is no different.
i discovered the game for that song that plays on this stage a year ago one year later, i finally bought the game and played it, i dont regret anything :D
At 1:25 when Glory kicks in with that audio distortion, then the calm version of the song before kicking into the combat version, it sounds transcendent. But it's too bad you can only hear this in game and not in the official release of the song, otherwise I would play it all the time :(
The quick switching strategy on the pistol seems really strong. Oh I was also wondering, does throwing out 2 coins cause the ricoshot to do more damage or is it just for style?
i think it has been patch, or at least idk why it doesnt work for me, does it work the same way than the shotgun switching or you need to do anothr thing?
@@winwinwe i'm not the creator, but as someone with about ten or fifteen hours in the game, i can safely say that this is just what the game does to you. learning how to get good at Ultrakill is surprisingly quick.
I did it with the first mindflayer by baiting it into that tunnel that leads to the red orb. Then I went up to heal with the orb when it teleported into the tunnel and then went back into the acid to shoot it a bit but making sure the acid killed it.
I don't know where else to ask... So is the locked door the challenge? I thought since it does not have a description that there was no challenge, but it says incomplete. Also. On sheer heart attack, would you happen to know if THAT locked door is also the secret mission for LUST, I'm trying to get everything.

Did the fix the weapon switch refresh? I tried doin' it and every time I go back to the weapon it still needs to refresh. I don't really use the alternate pistol but I thought I'd try it and I wasn't able to do it
It's being played on Violent, though that only affects enemy aggression and certain traits they have. As far as I'm aware enemy count doesn't differ between difficulties.
It used to be OP back when you could quickswitch between the two alt revolvers for an increased rate of fire. It was patched out. I actually bought the game after it was patched out, but I use the alt marksman all the time. I don't think I could've beaten Minos Prime without it.

Does someone know how I can do the "Kill a mindflayer with acid"? I find it impossible to do.

The challenge currently doesn’t exist, reasoning for that is that the dev just couldn’t come up with a good one.

It got patched out because it was too OP, now the revolver has a readying animation if you switch to it after shooting.
