I know that other artists narrate as they paint as well but I dont ever find myself thinking "oh jeez, please just stfu and paint" or "god will he just stop talking please". I like to watch and listen as you paint. It is always a pleasure to tune in to your videos and you creativity is mind blowing. Thank you, you are a true and genuine influence and inspiration and I'm grateful to have witnessed your experience. Sorry for being so assertive in my comment. My mama told me that honesty is always the best policy
I appreciate assertive communication and I think it is key. Thank you for your comment and I appreciate how your mind works. I am glad you found me here and I want to personally welcome you to our tribe!
I loved your comment. I find his voice to be so calming it pairs well as he forms the art. I'd much rather hear the artist in action or a voice over than watch a great pour with awful music and no clue other than a few added txts as to what's going on. Still great pours but less personable.
Thank you so much for you ebooks. I really appreciate you taking the time to help. I will have to very slowly collect monthly abit here & there as finances allow before I am able to start. You are my very beginning & I have been watching all the ladies for a year now. Then you popped up out of the blue. Thank you. I feel I have jumped on the train & have started a journey to my recovery. You may never know. In absolutely gratitude may you have abundance in all you desire.
Thank you. I needed that. I threw a 20 lb. planter tonight and destroyed it when I was taking it off the wheel. Add insult, it was a stupid mistake that I knew better. Now I'm cleaning up the mess and watching you make a beautiful painting. This clay that looked like chocolate frosting on the wheel now looks like a poopy mess. See why I need your pretties!
I hope you know how much so many people appreciate your generously making art education available to us! I always felt the need to be artistic but skill was not in my favor. So, I am making mistake startups but will keep trying to see if I can get more skilled. Your generously providing technique, products used, showing us how it is done is just the kindest thing someone could do for us without resources to get better at things any other way! Thank you... just really thank you.
If you live in Detroit I live about 30 to 40 models north/east of Detroit, nice to see in Hometown acrylic pour painter in my area. i’ve been dabbling in the acrylic pour painting and multimedia artwork about four years now. I also love to use resin and make live edge wood tables. Thanks for posting videos for the world to see. I thoroughly enjoy watching you, I appreciate you.
New to ur channel and loving ur videos. This particular painting certainly grabbed my attention. I have brain cancer and one of the scans I had was a functional MRI. When u use certain parts of ur brain it lights up. The cells u created reminded me a lot of the pictures my husband took to show me. I could stare at that art work all day. Beautiful!! I’m going to try my hand at making some brain art!😊 Ur videos are super calming, just what we need every now and then. Calmness. Thank u!
Absolutely love this one! I would love a larger one like this in the colours of my room. I imagine it would be just as beautiful and interesting as this one.
I am from the Midwest and I am down here in hot steamy Florida. I just started with acrylic painting and I am just experimenting with different ideas and I love your idea with cookie cutter. I would love to show you what I’ve done so far in the past month, if I figure out how to take a picture of it and send it to you you are obviously so good and I hope to grow better each day!!❤
I just watched your video about how pour painting saved your life and I know exactly what you mean. I have some pretty severe trauma I am working through with help from the pro’s, but the greatest gains I have been making in getting my life back, has been since I started pour painting. It saved my life too. Ironically the open cup pour is my favorite as well. I am hands down impressed that you managed to get all these colors to work together so beautifully 🎊 Amazing job and keep up the good work. This world is far too dark and the only thing we can do as survivors is to shine like a beacon of hope and positivity for those who are still lost. You are doing an amazing job of using your art and vulnerability to pour a bit of happiness into the world!!
I am very interested in trying my hand at the gorgeous works of art. I have two questions for now; 1. how long do these typically take to dry and 2. I'm a bit confused about what is mixed with the paint (if anything) to get these effects? Thanks!
Great job genius idea to use the cookie cutter even if it was anti climatic. I also know what you mean when you just can't seem to look away it's so amazing to watch these pieces take form. Each one is so magical.
I am just getting into acrylic pouring, and watching lots of videos on different techniques. I just came across your videos, and I'm so happy I did. I'm also from Michigan, near Lansing, and have a hard time with some other video tutorials from other areas of the world. Our state gets quite cold in the winters, and humid in the summers. It makes a difference when using paints. They don't dry right, don't pour right, ect. Finally, someone from my state that is doing this too! I will definitely be watching more!
All I can say is yes. Not even a little bit of yes but a lot of yes. If by some chance there is some confusion about what I am saying, these colors are all that is yes. Well done sir. It is hard for me to say a certain painting is my favorite just like it's hard to say what's my favorite song or guitarist, depends on the mood and the day. This sir is hands down in my top 3. Killin it brother. Stay colorful.
Wow, just wow what a beautiful acrylic pour. I’ve been pouring acrylic paint for about two months and I’m loving it. The art shown here is some of the nicest I’ve ever seen, absolutely top marks bravo A1 100% fan-fucking-tastic! And I’m most certainly not easily impressed, the reverse in fact holds true. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful piece of art. Peace Ryszard
Look man, I had a busy day at work and there is as hole everywhere (the work colleagues), two faces, double standards, backstabber. But then i finished the shift and on the train here I am watching this video and it just so soothing. Thank you for keeping me running for another day and not completely give up on humanity yet! Appreciate your amazing art works and positivity! I'd love to try this method out one day when im off work 🤩
This is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. I see where the flower cookie cutter let the colors come out in petals a bit. I love the mixture of cool and firey hues. This has so very many small cells and lacing, so intriguing and very interesting. You are very clever and creative. Thank you for sharing this with us. Great job 👏 👍 💖👩🎨🎨🖌🌟🍀🌸🦓🤗🥄Happy Christmas 🎄 💖. Liz
I love watching your videos as you are so down to earth. Also the fact you’re a fellow Detroiter makes you even more awesome. I’ve learned so much from watching your videos as your descriptions and comments are so helpful
I am in a rut. Haven't made a good painting in a long time. you have inspired me to try again. I'm so discouraged. Thank you for inspiring me. I want to purchase this one.
My first time seeing a video from you! Love this painting, and I LOVE your tattoo's. I am now going to have to binge watch your video's. It's about time there is a man doing this that is not afraid to try new and different things out. I used to paint pour for a few years and then my father died recently and I have been helping my mom get through this tough time. Thank you for having a voice that is very calming and sincere. Your not out to be better than the next, you just try different things and see how it comes out. Thank you for being you!
Im sorry for your loss. I’m losing my dad this year too~I already lost so many layers of what was my dad and I agree , watching this was very peaceful. I wonder if I could do something like this myself
To J Stayner I lost both my sister's within the last 5 years... My oldest sister (Shanarie 61) passed away 2 years ago, my middle sister (Teresa 56) passed away 5 years ago. Both were still young. Before Teresa died I had never painted anything in my life, I had to do SOMETHING to help with her passing, not that anything could really help! But I turned my sadness into art! I turned my grief into art). I watched UA-cam a LOT! Maybe u could get back into painting while ur helping ur Mother get through this! It may even help her! Grief is hard.. it's been 5 years and I'm STILL dealing with my grief! I agree with you regarding J Mos style of painting! He's has become one of my favorites to watch & learn from on UA-cam! His voice is very calming and soothing! There aren't very many men or women on UA-cam that I enjoy watching... I pray 🙏 that u and ur family will find the strength & comfort u need while dealing with ur father's passing! God Bless! J Mo.. I meant no disrespect to u by messaging J Stayner in ur comment section. I love ur paintings and especially ur geodes! I wish I could afford to go to the Art Expo Event & Classes that are in Arizona this coming April. I pray that You as well as the other Artists have a successful event! I'm hoping this event will appear on ur channel! Looking forward to seeing NEW geodes, pours, swipes, or whatever videos you'll be posting!! This was wild! I’ve never seen painting done this way. I went from not thinking I’d like this piece to being absolutely blown away-it looks like a white rose in the center! Nice job!!
I absolutely love this one too! It’s out of this world! Looks super trippy! The colors are magnificent! The lacing and cells are gorgeous. One of my favorites!!!!

I am in end stage liver failure so I understand. Acrylic pour painting has been my salvation. I simply need to find a resin daddy and a paint daddy and a canvas Daddy. Cuz I want to do this all day long! I'm really sorry for what you're going through. This part of life really sucks. Find your joy and live it out well❤️
I'm so glad you got though your dark times and you found your passion because with that PASSION you brings us all joy. Your HEART and SOUL really comes through with your paintings.... you are light and love and are loved.
Thanks J Mo, I subscribed today to your channel. I’m a little intimidated with this but I’m going to give this a shot next week with my 12 year old granddaughter. I told her I have surprise for her. She loves painting and is really good with a brush. She can literally look at a picture and free hand it all…never had a class! I thought this would be fun for both or us to learn together! Wish me luck. I’ve been watching your beginner lessons when I subscribed.
This is one of the prettiest acrylic pours I've seen yet. Love your meticulous technique and the use of the cookie cutter lifted up periodically. This is one I'd hang on my walls if I had the room! First time watching you, now subscribed.
Nor will it be replicated. You are an inspiration for me and my crafts. I do resin mostly. After I seen you do the table with the soda bottom, I was hooked on your techniques.
This is my first viewing of your work on your channel. Very impressed with your art. I loved how you used a heat gun to coax and create your piece.
I miss throwing on a wheel, even the frustrating times like that. I feel for you though. Get back on that horse. ❤
So gorgeous! I wish you'd show them dry and then again with whatever finish you prefer. Wonderful piece. ❤
Thanks so much! I might try that for my next video.

Another specimen slide of space bacteria! Excellent coaxing of the medium to achieve those results! 👍 😃

I love the colors and composition of this painting. It reminded me of the Byzantine mosaics I saw in Ravenna, Italy years ago.
So beautiful love how peaceful your videos are too ❤
This is such a beautiful painting. I do see the firewater but I also see a wickedly cool stained glass.
I enjoyed watching this so much , it's phenomenal ❤

Looks like a cross between turquoise and opal. The veins in the turquoise and the intense colors of opal. Nice.
Interesting and pretty. I find myself talking to these videos saying, spin it the other way too ! And you did so that’s great.
Wow! It was like watching a good movie...I couldn't take my eyes away! Make more of these please.
Wow, just wow what a beautiful acrylic pour.

That's gorgeous man. Almost like pointillism with so many of those dots, of which I am a fan. Very, VERY cool indeed! 👍🏻
Wow!!!! That was amazing, it reminded me of the ocean and then a nebula, by the end both.
I’m loving this painting absolutely amazing

Nice pour Johnny..reminds me of a mosaic tile. Very pretty😊 Thanks for sharing!
This is glorious! It makes me think of batik designs on clothing. Lovely.
All of your artwork is fabulous, I have learned so much from you. Thank You !!!

It’s sooo beautiful! I see a shell in the middle! Love it! ❤
Thanks J Mo, I subscribed today to your channel. I’m a little intimidated with this but I’m going to give this a shot next week with my 12 year old granddaughter. I told her I have surprise for her.
