Absolutely magnificent open cup outcome. Your open cup pouring & tilting technique are excellent. Many thanks for sharing your experiences Brian👍🏻⭐️🎄🎄🎄🎅🏼
I love this it's fun because once you see something you can't unsee it 😂 the bottom left corner looks like a pair of hands - the pink in the centre of the left side like a neck and then a weird but wonderful head resting there - it's a beautiful piece with the cells almost looking like teeth in a wide smile - I love your work thankyou for sharing
When you love what you’re passionate about, you can’t go wrong in what you do with abstract art form! You do yourself justice by creating something that is truly magnificent and stunning to look at. Thank you for sharing your work with us today!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Beautiful, reminds me of a galaxy pour with some Milky Way covering the galaxies. I like that magenta, I'd like to see some more of it in that painting. It gives some nice mysterious and deep feel to the painting,if you don't mind me commenting this way. Beautiful 😍
I so enjoy watching your videos and learning from you! I am still learning the paint pour techniques. Sometimes you say you will varnish and other times you will resin. How do you decide which one to use? Today near the end you said you would varnish and then at the dry result you said you would need to resin. I have always used resin.
Beautiful. Love your work I’m a beginner trying to do these one handed , I could watch your videos for hrs I actually do. What are the raisers called under your canvases, thanks 👍🏻
These were more on the thin side. 1oz of gloss medium, 2.5 oz of paint, 3.5 oz of Floetrol and water. They make a mound and sink very quickly but not as thin as a Dutch Pour.
I love the movement in this painting!! 10:44 You said something about satin enamel, but I dont find it in your deskription. In which color did you have it? And the recipe have the headline 248. You meen THIS one, 246, I guess 😊
What is the White base you are using? Artist loft or behr satin house paint? Did you add pouring medium same as in the acrylic colors? If so what brand is the pouring medium. I am trying to learn but everyone uses different methods. And many skip over vital info for beginners.
hi there. Merry Christmas. This is Artist Loft Soft Body White. I mixed this batch on the thinner side. This is 2oz of Liquitex Gloss Medium, 4oz of paint and then add water for consistency. This is not as thin as a dutch pour but it's close.
"Феноменальная работа" этих пятен выглядит очень круто когда вы приблизили камеру!☝️ Значит надо увеличить холст в 2 раза при том же количестве акрила, и все это растянуть, очень круто!!!!
What are your proportions of Artist Loft Soft Body and WSE in your white base? And do you mix it with exactly the same pouring medium as you do with your colors?
2oz gloss medium, 4oz paint, 8oz of American Floetrol, water needed for consistency. I take a spray bottle and do about 3 squirts. When the paint runs off the stick I want a mound and then immediately sink back in the cup of paint.
wonderful. your pictures are fantastic. how do you sell them🤔? via the internet, gallery, do you give away??? thanks for the reply. greetings from Germany 🌹🍀
Satin enamel wasn’t in the color list so I was wondering how you got Artist Loft soft body to create those beautiful pearls. Then I heard you talk about it at the end. Was the Satin Enamel mixed in with the Artist Loft white?
Waw, this is very different from other open cup pours that you did. This looks more like open cup pours that I do (I use Owatrol for Floetrol) with the gradient colors. Any idea why you didnt get a lot of cells (apart from the pearl cells) like you normally do? Even the gold didnt cell up that much, it is a bit suprising ...?
Ps: I experimented with open cups and pearl paints and got some nice results! Hadn't seen anyone else do that and since you inspired me to try open cups , I would love to see your take on that if you're game 😉
This was one of the prettiest open cups I've ever seen ❤❤❤

What do you make your consistency like for open cup.

Lovedddddd this! What is your proportion of paint to pouring medium? Are the colors different consistency from the white base?
Thank you so much. My paints are mixed the same. 2oz of gloss medium, 4 oz of paint, 8-10 oz of american floetrol.
What is the White base you are using? Artist loft or behr satin house paint? Did you add pouring medium same as in the acrylic colors? If so what brand is the pouring medium. I am trying to learn but everyone uses different methods. And many skip over vital info for beginners.

Giant push pins
What do you use in the back of the canvas to raise it off the table are those thump tacks? 🫣
yes, giant push pins
Hi. Which is the white base paint? Is it acrylic paint mixed in floetrol? Looks much thicker.
Please share. Thanks
It's artist loft soft body white, american floetrol. No water added
wonderful. your pictures are fantastic. how do you sell them🤔? via the internet, gallery, do you give away??? thanks for the reply. greetings from Germany 🌹🍀
I just started my website. I will be selling from there for sure.
Satin enamel wasn’t in the color list so I was wondering how you got Artist Loft soft body to create those beautiful pearls. Then I heard you talk about it at the end. Was the Satin Enamel mixed in with the Artist Loft white?
I just added the Satin Enamel to my description box. Sorry about that. Yes I did add it to my white.
I wanted to show you a pic of how mine turned out. How do I do that??.....BTW, YOU are AMAZING!!!
Send to my Instagram account. Studio15acrylics
How do you get cells without silicone?
the cells happen because the paints sink below the paint on the canvas and resurface.
So do you vanish it when it’s dry or what?
I do. I put 2 coats of gloss varnish
Waw, this is very different from other open cup pours that you did. This looks more like open cup pours that I do (I use Owatrol for Floetrol) with the gradient colors. My paints were a lot thinner than normal. The white was a touch thicker than the paints and I'm pretty sure that's why.
Absolutely. When you say Pearl paints do you mean like the Amsterdam or Arteza Pearl colors? That would be very fun to experiment 😃😃@@bizzartbelgium
@@Studio15Acrylics I use mainly Amsterdam because I'm in Europe so Arteza is more expensive to get 😉
