Awwww, Little Free Libraries are always hit and miss, aren't they? I've learned to steer clear of LFLs by schools and LFLs marked as 'children's books.' Regarding the 3(?) LFLs that simply weren't there, the LFL app has a way to report LFLs that need repair and LFLs that are gone. I usually use that feature if I'm not too exhausted and my back doesn't hurt too much -- I simply can't be bothered then. The "Free" concept is kind of a misnomer, too. While it's fun hunting them down, you use a lot of time and energy and gasoline/petrol. But it's totally worthwhile when you finally find THAT BOOK!!! I was actually out in a new neighborhood so I visited 5-6 locations. I found 3 books. I keep 2 big bags of book to donate in my trunk.
