I wonder with Mordo If you play mordo and then mobius before turn 6, does his ongoing effect "lock in" mordo's cost change? Reverting cost from 6 to the original cost is technically a decrease.
Not sure how they have not nerfed hela yet all they need to do is change her ability so she brings back 3 discarded cards instead of all the discarded cards then she is still good and usable without being a pain in the arse
It because it not a very good deck , really , it really only took off because Shang was 50 percent of the meta or some bullshit, the whole idea of that deck was "I can't be Shang'd and the opponent has to soul read where I play Hela." But that's just not good enough anymore. The buff they are doing are making it so that decks that think beyond Hela can just go over the top , or close her out. Shell fade back to a couple of percent of players who just love that style of play.
Werewolf Surfer with a bunch on On Reveals and things like Kraven was one of the decks I had the most fun with, and looking forward to giving it another go! Sage might be good for it, so think I'll spend some of my spotlight keys and get Sage!

You have to have a large number of ongoing to use the effect, then you can only play them in one lane or risk the enchantress. and i haven't even mentioned echo.
Those backdrops are looking better and better all the time. Great production value Cozy. When is my boy Colossus gonna get some love? The shiniest X-Man never has a chance to shine, although some Namora builds are using him cuz he's invulnerable to Shadow King & Shang-Chi.
I wish they made the strong heroes in the marvel universe actually strong! Some of the best strongest characters in the comic books are weak in game. I also wish they did more synergistic buffs like xmen or spider heroes playing together get some sort of a bonus.
Yeah they've toyed with that recently. But most of the spider cards do have a natural synergy now which I really like. I hope that they can make that the case with others, but in fairness, most spider characters have basically the same powers, whereas Avengers/X-Men have such varied ones that it's very difficult to make the both thematic and synergistic. Plus something like a flat power bonus would make balancing cards very difficult

Except they do actually draw. You might naturally draw a 6 drop, or something like a silver surfer, which you'd likely save until turn 6 anyway. And you don't have to fill a space with a -1 power card. And if they play Mobius it does nothing. It's probably best against 5-drops - especially Sera. But then again, Iceman can do the same thing for 1-cost...
I want to shout-out second dinner here. Cozy works closely with them and has been in official advertisements and other content talking with devs. To be allowed to report on a leak and not lose your company favor, shows Second Dinner is really nice unlike most other studios

The Sentry debuff is a debuff to my man Skaar as well… I was climbing ladder so well with my niche under the radar Skaar deck… well, it’s been fun while it lasted!

Sentry will be getting a big buff from Sersi and I think this is in preparation for that. In a vacuum, I agree with a nerf but probably only 1 point each. However, changing the Void to a random 5 cost with Sersi on curve is insane power, and I suspect that was reflected in their internal play testing.

It makes no sense when they have changed so many of those series 1 cards: Spectrum, Punisher, star lord, Hawkeye, Medusa, Jessica jones (I think), ant man, wolfsbane, white tiger, namor?, America Chavez, blade, angel, apocalypse, strong guy, forge, yondu, elektra, prof x, cable, Angela, klaw, lizard, sword master, mantis, wolverine, uatu, rocket, groot, maybe more but I don’t remember. They have basically nerfed or buffed or changed every single series 1 card in the game at least once but Captain America couldn’t get a buff until now.

I (and probably most players) saw how bad an idea he was at 4/2. immediately. I really need to get my hands on werewolf NOW! Really wanted him in my collection at his release and whiffed and now he is my top priority to pick up. Sentry being below Shang chi range isn't terrible. Mordo is still not a great card, they just need to complete burn the card down and give some kind of anti move or negative move mechanic like kingpin or 2099. Maybe a combo of those two cards. Like when he moves he gives something on the other side a minus x to its power. Just to give him some connection to strange.

Maybe it's because she can be easily discarded. Once she's discarded that's it. Your entire strategy is gone. Unless you use ghost rider. And that's assuming he actually brings her back. I can't tell you how many times she was in my hand got discarded.
Sentry should've stayed a 4/10 and the Void should've been reduced to 4/-6; that would work out to be a 15-power point swing sending both the Hood and the Void with Annihilus while still keeping Sentry as a valid Shang-Chi target, and it keeps Sentry more viable for those games where the junk player DOESN'T draw Annihilus too. Ideally though, Annihilus would be a 5/7 and the Void would be a 4/-5 for maximum numerical balance for that 3-card package.
I don't like that Void is basically the same power as Hobby because it feels like it's less important to run Sentry now. And honestly, with Selene, Hobby becomes an 11 so Void is even more overshadowed. Having that -10 that couldn't just be Odin'd back was a crucial line compared to the Goblins and now it feels far weaker of an option, especially when Hobby comes out on his own and Void needs to be sent over with a second card. If they're going to go this route, I wish they'd backpedal the Viper 3 cost change and put her back to a 2/3.
@@bighamster2 In the current game, where it's so easy to see cards like Knull, Crossbones or Skarr come out for 4, making Sentry 8 is severely weakened. I could have games where I had Sentry and Typhoid out with Luke and have basically 34 power spread across the board with void on their side.
Captain America will go great in C2 by buffing both Cerebro and Mystique, while being 2 power himself now 👀

Sentry change is a buff. Now it avoids Shang chi and can still be played on curve.

I’m excited for werewolf. I’ve been playing with him in a nocturne deck and he just isn’t really playing at a higher tier like I want him to.
Cap will be a nice little boost to C2 which is much needed.
Is it really that hard for them to nerf hella, on reveal brings back 2 discarded cards on random locations.
Maybe it's because she can be easily discarded. Once she's discarded that's it. Your entire strategy is gone. Unless you use ghost rider. And that's assuming he actually brings her back. I can't tell you how many times she was in my hand got discarded.
I feel like Hela as a 6/0 would still win a lot of the time

Sentry should've stayed a 4/10 and the Void should've been reduced to 4/-6; that would work out to be a 15-power point swing sending both the Hood and the Void with Annihilus while still keeping Sentry as a valid Shang-Chi target, and it keeps Sentry more viable for those games where the junk player DOESN'T draw Annihilus too. Ideally though, Annihilus would be a 5/7 and the Void would be a 4/-5 for maximum numerical balance for that 3-card package.
I don't like that Void is basically the same power as Hobby because it feels like it's less important to run Sentry now. And honestly, with Selene, Hobby becomes an 11 so Void is even more overshadowed. Having that -10 that couldn't just be Odin'd back was a crucial line compared to the Goblins and now it feels far weaker of an option, especially when Hobby comes out on his own and Void needs to be sent over with a second card.
If they're going to go this route, I wish they'd backpedal the Viper 3 cost change and put her back to a 2/3.
All this misses that you still get an EIGHT power card on your side.
@@bighamster2 In the current game, where it's so easy to see cards like Knull, Crossbones or Skarr come out for 4, making Sentry 8 is severely weakened. I could have games where I had Sentry and Typhoid out with Luke and have basically 34 power spread across the board with void on their side.
