Actually sad to see Marian Sarr in here. I remember him being a promising 18 year old back in Dortmund and Wolfsburg, thought he would have a decent career..
@@SomalieDXB If things don't work out in Europe I strongly recommend looking into some Asian Leagues. Many growing leagues which someone like Marian Sarr would prosper in.
I would suggest that they should come out of their respective countries and look to play outside of European continent to play and make their way up. I'm sure lot of them can get contracts if they come to South Africa
This would be an excellent idea! Plenty of interesting football clubs around the world looking for talent that just isn't in that country yet. New Zealand and Thailand are other great examples.
South, Western and Northern Africa would be great for them. Asia pay the highest outside of Europe and even now South America are taking European and African players. You’re right, they should look into opportunities outside of Europe as well.
Dean Bartlett Whenever a player goes overseas, there are always issues of work visas. The top players can always get work visas because they fit the bill of "skilled workers" but the next tier down has less demand. It's a great idea but sadly powers above football often have the final say.
From personal experience the key to these camps is not only fitness (which is crucial) but it’s games. Got to have games against pro clubs and have the place full of scouts and agents which given Covid is difficult. I’ve got experience of these camps from several countries. It’s a lifeline for young players who get released normally from bigger clubs. Sometimes at 19-20 a player isn’t physically ready for first team and need another year or 2 in a development squad. It’s great work in a difficult climate. Good luck to all
This is so interesting! I tried to Google information for out of contract camps and all I found was an article in the DW website. I really do wonder how it is in other countries and outside of Europe
Come to Austria, a player like Sarr will definetly find a club here and you will even play against RB Salzburg, LASK and Rapid regularly....not too bad imo
I wish I had something like this in Houston cause the tryouts I've attended don't seem to benefit anyone but the people receiving the high tryout costs. My last tryout I had a CB playing as my RW... that didn't help anyone particularly me the striker
If you love the game it doesn't matter if you get paid, I went to an elite club got 3 acl injuries before I was 23,after my latest recovery am glad just to play with football font care if I get paid, I just enjoy the game, when am 80yrs atleast I will look back and say I fucking gave everything.

Ok, so this is how FIFA free agents work in real life, interesting. I always love to sign out of contract players on Road to Glory style career modes. I'm currently doing one with Inglostadt. Got a 6 foot 11 centre - back with around 93 potential...
Im lost here. Are we suppose to feel especially bad for footballers unemployed due to Covid? could of easily made a video addressing everyone who lost their jobs or businesses during this time. Actually, I'll take it a step further: Sports as a profession as opposed to amateurs are a luxury. In difficult economic times, careers and monetary values are sifted to other areas. Boohoo, you can't get paid to play a game and have to find other work. Sorry if all professional sports ended and people could only play games for fun.
@@truechaosmulala3831 Did you watch the video? If so, you may want to watch and listen to it again. It explicitly and implicitly states covid as a major contributing factor for many of the players being unemployed. It does so by such comments as, "then corona broke-out', "global upheaval", "pandemic hit" on and on and on. Also, your assessment of the video being about "players who haven't retired" is too narrow. The video begins with a young player attempting to begin his career, and later directly addresses the age gap between unemployed players. Lastly, your rhetorical condescending remark is unfounded. The irony of which being, I too abhor the inclusion of social issues pervading topics and content when unnecessary. This is to say, I would have preferred to watch a video simply about player retirement. So don't put this bad juju on me.
@@truechaosmulala3831 sure bro. if you want to consider a 35 year old who's had a professional career and a 17 year old who has never made it past their youth program into a professional league as both yet to retire once they stop playing, then I retired when I quit my job at Panera bread co when I was 16.
UPDATE: Dominik has signed with Regionalliga (4th tier) side Babelsberg 03, just outside of Berlin!
Nice 1 Babelsberg 03 you just got a new supporter from australia.
I quite liked when Dominik played for the second team of my club Ingolstadt
Keep the updates mate, thanks for letting us know
Now He plays for Eichstädt in the Bayernliga (4th league)

Vince Gonzalez yeah true! Oceania are also paying well!
Even in Sout East Asia they could get good contracts. Clubs in Thailand and Malaysia could pay more than many German second tier clubs.

I never thought in my life that the most memeable trainer in germany is in a serious debate about young players
Seems Peter Neururer is an expert on just about everything in the football world, including youth players!
Come to MLS! Great exposure! If not maybe even the USL n use it as a stepping stone
Plenty of USL teams could use players like that.
I would love to play USL because am 21 years old young man from Jamaica seeking a team.
