Oh yeah, the wife ran off with another married guy 5 years ago and left me with two teenage boys aged 13 and 11....But I have to say it's been very rewarding raising these boys into men by myself....You're in for the challenge of your life but you're going to cherish every minute of it. We don't need no stinking women!!!! hahaha.....
Man that really hits home. I grew up with my best friend Christian (rip buddy) and he and his brother grew up with their father after his mother left them :/ I also have full custody of my oldest and you’re right, it’s amazing and I’m happy that I’m blessed with such a life. No we don’t need women to do a man’s job! God bless you and your family, I can tell that your son has been raised right. He was smiling and having a great time despite struggling at first. Clearly he has been raised to never give up!
@@TerryStewart724 Ride much, spoken like someone who's never had an unplanned get off. Shit I crashed my bicycle and wore the gloves palm almost to the skin. But hey it's still a free choice, thank goodness.
Thats a great effort . Theses xrs can be hard to get the hang of the starting proses for a novice but once mastered what a bike . I have 3 of them xr400 xr600 and xr650 . By farr the xr600 is my favourite. For sure when hes older had had many bikes the xr will be his favourite, they got a character no other bike in my 35yrs of riding comes close 👍👍👍
Great to see another XR600R back on its feet. I love these old XRs as well. That is Some serious lineup there. The cr500 especially is a bike of masters. I have a 92 XR250R, a 96 XR600R that i am restoring, and a 95 kawasaki KLX650. I love riding the klx and the xr250 feels like a powerful mountain bike its so light
Best ALLaround bike ever built other than being very tall what a great ride does over 100 miles an hour wheelies really nice respectably fast jumps well good on the slideways throws a nice roost climbs excellent and is king of the fire roads much better than a 650 xr on the weight and quicker i have a 96 withva big bore and post 2010 forks (yamaha yz) and aftermarket mono geared down to 80 mph and stripped as light as possible with a xr only flatslide 42 mil makuni carb and D&G header and silencer funnest one ive ever owned ive had about five of them
Funny my xr250 after learning how to control a clutch I have never stalled it that only happens if I accidentally leave it in second gear make sure to give it lots of gas let out the clutch and as soon as you feel some grab put a little more gas in it
This bike doesnt sound right. Idle too high as well. I would adjust the carb and get a sebring slip on. But: xr 600 is a good choice! We hat a lot of fun last century with these on the danish isle of röm
No helmet no boots. Don't care much for your son? My XR 150 is way harder to kick then the 600 lmao. Here in Asia you can't get the 600. Only the XR150L and XR150R A few years back you could get 200 but nothing bigger. Unless you had money to burn.
That’s one of the best things for a teenager !!👍🏻 my friends and I had some of the best times riding dirt bikes an getting chased by the game warden and cops 😂
Awesome to watch father and son like that. I’m a father of two boys 7 and 1 and couldn’t be more happy

The high idle is making it much tougher to learn on. Needs to go in the shop and get a tune up and maybe a new carb.
I would love to have a xr600 they are very good bikes
He'll be just fine. I pulled the opposite foul startups and stood it straight up.😂
I love my 96 xr600r BEAST
I recently got an XR600R as my first bike and haven’t even turned it on yet I’m just watching my dad ride it 💀💀
