hey Gang Of Alberta, 2 seconds after Zadorov hits McDivit, Hyman crosschecks him in the face and cuts him for stiches. Right in front of the linesman no less. Zero mention of that, and what a joke that Frank says the fact it was McDivit, makes no difference. Oilers have two amazing players, a couple decent players and a bunch of guys who just fill out the roster. If two forwards are putting up 30 minutes, there's a problem.

13:07 Intent makes a huge difference in the sentence. The vehicle example given is describing the difference between manslaughter and murder. That being said 1 game is probably appropriate for Soucy given reckless behavior after the whistle. If the refs weren't protecting the Oilers' top line the Oilers would have no chance in this series (ie Hyman crosscheck on Zadorov)
How are the refs protecting anyone? From what I"ve seen they are letting them play - Draisaitl took THREE (count 'em) Vicious crosschecks to his back from JT MIller at the start of the game for crissakes with NO CALL yet in a battle for the puck Nurse uses his stick to push down a Canuck and gets a penalty. Even your boy Bieksa thought the call on Nurse was brutal. It's crazy how Canuck fans can't see what right in front of them. If Hyman hit Hughes like that in the first minute of the game you all would be demanding a 10 game suspension to him. Man you guys sure do cry a lot for a fan base who call Oilers (McDavid) cry babies lol - pot calling kettle

Why not bring up the cross check by Hyman right after the Soucy cross check? It was arguably worst and caused damage. Crickets from player safety. Or how about the spear on Hoglander. They are making an example of Soucy because it’s McDavid.
