Just saw a beautiful stations of the cross performance… this song was split up at each station and it was so beautiful. I get chills listening to it. It’s so saddening that Jesus went through all that.
We crucified our Lord on that cross, beat him up, mocked him with a crown off thorns and nailed him on a cross. And there our sins were laid upon him and he who had no sin became sin so that we could be called the righteousness of god in him. There is nothing more painfull and loving then the life and crucifixion of Jesus our Lord and saviour so thank him because by his mercy you are reading this. Thank you for redeeming us Lord.
I was not there but I thank him for saving me and everything he did for me Through the Holy Spirit I thank him for picking up my cross and carried for me for my sins I thank him for taking the nails in hands for me I thank for take the nails in his feet for me I thank him for taking that spear on his side I thank him for healing me And let's not forget the thorns A round his head And everything that the world did to him to try and stop him from carrying my Cross and yours Thank you Jesus my Lord and my God From the soldier of the cross
You were there also when he was crucified because the whole world was. We're all the ones who nailed him to the cross with our sins and yet he is still merciful to all of us and pours out his grace. So the correct answer is to say you were there
@@ryelz2483 1 John chapter 4 verse 19 it was my SINS why he was nail to the Cross I am a soldier of the cross with the full armor of God a messenger of God
You all are amazing! My family was on yt the other night looking for a Lenten song to go along with our devotion. We were looking for a version of this song that we liked. I played Johnny Cash's version, and my kids were like, nah, & then another we didn't like so much (too slow!), and then this one popped up in the suggestions..I played it, & it turned out to be JUST RIGHT. It's beautiful, the perfect tempo and mix of gospel and contemporary style. 💓💕🎵🎼 Love, love, love!!
Well all I know is he died for the Sins Of the World But the truth is we all don't belong to him When you say we were all there what do you mean Just make sure that your name will be found written in the book of life revelation chapter 20 verse 15
@@joeseczulaica3053 It does not matter. No unbeliever will have his sins mentioned at the judgement. Their sins had the penalty paid for. They will be condemned for rejecting Jesus Christ, not their sins. That leaves them to be without excuse.

@@genez429 I understand a little bit the way you put it I guess what I'm saying is if your name is not found in the book of life you'll be cast into the lake of fire That means you rejected what Jesus did for the sins of the world Yes I understand I understand what Jesus says all you have to do is believe in him but the devil believes who Jesus is also but he trembles with fear because his time is for a short time down here on Earth Anyway thank you for your comment have a good day
Leave out the drums and guitars, then you have a much better song. Slurring of the words and notes, although common in today's Christian music, seems more like a secular music performance than something honoring to Jesus Christ. Beautiful voice, but negatively affected by other qualities.
Some Psalmist onlyist can always say the same about your hymns that these aren't honoring to God but only Psalms should be sung. I'm Reformed Presbyterian I should know I was going down that path lol. Get over it brother Wally and just worship the King !
@@ryelz2483 Pointing out when Christian musicians mimic secular, unsaved musicians in their style of singing is not legalism . Nor am I advocating singing only the Psalms. Your comment reveals shallow thinking, assuming more than necessary.
